    Smile Winnie the Pooh

    Hi

Am thinking of decorating the baby's nursery in a Winnie the Pooh theme and want to create a border going round the room with Pooh & Friends. Does anyone know where I can get a border or else transfers/stickers that I can make my own border with.

I found one website however you seem to only get four pages of stickers per order. The largest of the stickers is 20cm wide but at almost $40 each per order and a room that it approx 9m around when I take out door and window seems to be quite expensive. From what I can work out I'd get two large stickers per page plus a few smaller little ones so would need quite a few orders to go round full room.

Has anyone got any suggestions of where else I can look or what they've purchased previously. I don't know sex of baby so can't pick anything that has either pink or blue border.

    Thanks for your help.

You can quite often buy winnie the poo fabric at spotlight (or google winne the pooh fabric - there seems to be plenty out there). It probably has bigger characters too.

Then you can cut them out and glue them to cardboard to keep them stiff and then just use bluetac to keep them up.

i have done DD's room winnie the pooh, i made a border of honey pots and bees and tigger bouncing then used 2 packets of stickers only 15 bucks each to make a mural on one wall and hand painted flowers and trees behind them looks pretty good lol

and they sell the paint in teh right colours aswell to go with it and you can even get glow in teh dark paint DD loves it as her honey pots glow and she watches the bees till she goes to sleep

When I went border hunting for DD's room we used a local paint/wallpaper shop. They had at least a dozen books with borders (just like wallpaper books). They also had some borders at baby shops - mostly well known characters like Winnie. Admittedly this was four years ago, though I doubt things would have changed at this time.

    Hi all

Thanks for all the information - will go shopping at the weekend.

Rach2221 thanks so much for the lovely offer. Let me see how I go at the weekend in case I change my mind and will be in touch. I can transfer money into your bank account to pay for postage as won't make it to Newcastle where I think you're based.

    Cheers Meadsie
