Plug vs Show

Are a plug loss and a show the same thing?

What are the signs?

I had a massive glob, 50c piece maybe or a bit bigger of mucous. Very Jellyish, but just normal yellow/cream colour. Is that a plug? Show? Just normal?

Im pretty sure they are the same thing. My midwife said it doesn't necessarily have to have blood in it. The "bloody show" has a bit of blood where's a plug is just the mucosy jelly like stuff but essentially they are the same.

It is all the same but varies a lot for every women. I never got and big mucosy globs but with DD2 & DS I got a little bit of very runny musus with a few spots of blood in it the same day I went into labour.

Yes, same thing!! With DD1 and DD2 I lost some the day before I went into labour. With DD3 I lost it for a week.
