Billie B Brown young readers

My daughter is in Y1 and is going really well with readers. She is on small chapters. The schools's level 9 although I don't know what his equals. I saw the Billie B Brown books by Sally Rippin in a store yesterday and they look like good books for early readers. Has anyone tried these?

My dd loves Billy B Brown. She got in to them when she was in grade 2 but I think they'd be fine for grade 1. They're quite short and easy to read.

My mum's a teacher and always tells me she hates them because they're written in 1st person. I figure if the kids are reading, it doesn't matter.

They look good. Dd1 also likes theaussie nibbles and aussie bites books.
