Yay.... Kayla finally started school today.
She kept saying "C ya Mum, have a good day".
When I left the school I cryed my eyes out. Can't wait to pick her up at 2 and find out how she went.
When I picked Ashlea up yesterday i drilled her with questions about her day and all she wanted to do was eat her apple! She had such a great time and I'm sure Kayla will too.
Busy yourself today to make the day pass quicker! I spent all yesterday going "Recess just started" or "ash would be back in class now" or "its lunch time"
Well Kayla finished at 2pm and I couldn't wait to pick her up.
Kayla said she had a great day, They did art, read stories,ect.....
And she can't wait to go back tomorrow.
LOL Dee... my friend and I were doing the same thing with Recess, going back to class, lunch and time to pick them up YAY.
It was really funny picking her up as all the parents were quietly watching and waiting until we saw the first class come out the door then it just went crazy. I did see a few Mum's crying when they first saw there children come out of class.
Cait started today too - just 9.30 - 12.30 for today and tomorrow. And for a change she wanted to tell me what she did ! And to tell me about the school rules !
I didn't cry, not even a sniffle. I won't know what to do with myself next week when the full days start.
Ashlea is upset with me cause I told her one more day of school then 2 days off for the weekend. She said school girls should get to go every day and she doesnt need time off to rest!
Kayla goes to school 9.00-2.00 up until that 19th Feb then full days after that 9.00-3.30.
But I'm really not looking forward to these early mornings. I hate getting up early in the morning.
My little princess started prep today too. I thought i was going to be a blubbering mess, ( i cried everything time i thought of her going to school) but I was very brave. She didn't cry either which made it easier for me.
When she came out of school she looked totally exhausted. The first thing she told me was that she made a new friend. The tears were welling but i composed myself.
Our school day starts at 8:30!!!! I have to be super dooper organised.
