I hope you're at the airport Lulu? ;)
In the limo now after leaving the business class section ;-)
Have a lovely day with all your little ladies.
Thanks for the meet up girls, dd is smiling when she talks about school and seems excited.
It was great to meet you b_r and Olive! And nice to see you again Nikky!
Miss E had a great time. Olive she thought that Miss M was going to go to school with her too lol!
Dd liked miss m too! I just explained she would go in a few years time and she was happy with that.
Morning Ladies!
Sorry haven't replied, and agreed that it was great to meet you all!! (just had Miss H's 5th birthday and Miss Z's 1st birthday last week! so I have been officially comatose! the last few days recovering!)
So, everyone excited about Friday??
Er, do they have to wear their uniform to these orientation days??
I have put all my info in a *safe* place ... it is so very safe as NO ONE, not even MOI can find the darn things!:wall:
LOL Snoogans I didn't who you were for a second!! Happy Birthday to your gorgeous DD's!!! I hope you all had fun celebrating.
Oh don't you love those 'safe places'. You'll probably find it in about 12 months from now lol!
I don't think they need to go in uniform on Friday. It doesn't say anything on the information pack about it so I guess they don't? DD said can she wear her school t-shirt as she hasn't worn it yet (you know the one they give you when you enrol). So I might send her in that if its not cold.
A few wear their uniform, DD never did, I kept that very special occasion til the first day of school.
Yeah I think I would rather leave the uniform until the first day of school. Plus I'm not ready for her to wear it yet lol!
Love your avi Olive!
ahhh Snoogans ... now I need to dig out all my Jay and Silent Bob movies!
Ohhh I forgot about that t-shirt! Think I might do the same :) Great idea Sangie! or should I say... Miss E!!
Argh the birthdays were non stop!
Miss H turned 5 on Tuesday 30th, so we had a family BBQ with a cake I made and lots of present opening!
Miss Z turned 1 on Wednesday 31st, so we had family over for dinner and I made birthday cupcakes...and more present opening!
Thursday Miss Z woke up at 2am with a severe ear infection, which required strong antibiotics :( and lots of mummy cuddling.
Friday was Miss H's 5th Birthday Party @ Ace Space with her friends! 14 of them. FOURTEEEEEEEEN! so that was 14 more lots of presents!
My house is full of wrapping paper and bags and ribbons...
And yes, it was a blast!!
Wow no wonder you needed a few days to recover Snoogans!
So dilemma here. Do I send Miss E to her kindy excursion or take her to school transition? It's at the end of the month for the Wed transition session. What to do, what to do???!!!! She wants to do both of course lol!
Oh bum, Sangie! Poor Miss E!
Personally? I would let her go to the excursion! more fun...and only chance she will get to go with Kindy friends...(that's just my 2 cents worth though ;) )
0o0o0h can't believe it starts tomorrow!
Hmmm yes good point snoogans. Will suss out plans for excursion and then decide I think. DH said go pick her up a bit early and take her to school and she will probably only miss lunch and the trip back to kindy. But I think half the fun is the bus ride lol!
I can't believe it starts tomorrow either, it's come around so quickly!
Have fun today guys! DD1 is excited that the kids are coming to check out prep!
I picked up a few uniforms from the lovely n2l yesterday and tried them on DD - OMG! Tears and photos and she was SO excited! Our school only does one uniform order per term and this one is coming in the last week. I still need to pick up some skorts, hat and will do socks and shoes in Jan. So excited!
Oh and after everything - she's actually finally ENROLLED! The school is fabulous!!!
Tan glad the school is fabulous. Miss I looked gorgeous in her uniform! I'll have to put one up of Miss E in hers. She doesn't want to try it on until her plaster is off because she thinks it will look much better without plaster on her arm. Funny girl!
LOL Snoogans at least we weren't the only early ones. Miss E was all ready to go by 7.30am. I got told to hurry up and get dressed because she needs to go to school right now lol!
She had fun and can't wait to go back. She loved the teacher she had today. Apparently she was 'really really nice and kind' lol!
Olive we watched a video of the current preps. There was a little girl on there who looks so much like Miss M that I'm guessing its your eldest DD. Was very cute!
Lol it probably was her! What group was she in? DD's teacher had yellow group.
She was in yellow :)
Second transition session went well, Miss E had a different teacher than the first time who was equally 'really really nice' and she is glad that she knows where the toilets are now lol!
Snoogans sorry we didn't meet up with you yesterday after transition. I forgot that we had to have another xray on Miss E's arm and I couldn't find you after the transition session to tell you! Good news is that the plaster is off her arm woohoo!!!!
We are back! Dd is excited to be going to the transition this week and has her enrolled at top on today ready for school! Snoogans it took me a sec to recognize you! Tan great that you finally have dd enrolled in school.
Ohhh that's okay Sangie!
Yay for cast being off....Saw Miss E @ dance today and she seemed very happy to have it off :)
Can't believe the concert is only a few weeks away!
Welcome Back B_R! did you have a great time?
We loved it, didn't want to come home, even the kids wanted to stay. Ds was talking about Fiji today, so cute!
Welcome back B_R, glad you had a lovely time. Hope you got lots of relaxing time! Might see you tomorrow!!
Snoogans yes she is so happy to have her cast off. Concert is so close now. Miss E is a bit scared of going on stage this time around. Funny how stage fright has only just set in now even though this will be her fourth concert. She is saying she doesn't want to dance next year because she doesn't want to do concerts anymore  Kind of hoping she changes her mind because I love seeing her dance. Yes its all about me lol!
Miss E is excited to go back to school tomorrow. She keeps trying to guess which classroom she will be in this time!
Wow that was a lot of preppies there this morning! Dd was in yellow today and had a ball she didn't want to go but as soon as we got there she was fine.
LOL B_R there are heaps of preps aren't there! Glad your DD had a good time. Miss E was in green, she was happy to be in the same room as Miss H today!
Miss E asked today when does she get to choose which class she will be in next year. Had to break it to her that she gets no choice lol! Looking forward to finding out which teacher she gets!
You find out next week don't you??
BR yellow room s Sophie's teacher!
We find out on Wed night I think Olive. Do you know who your DD has next year yet?
We don't find out until the second last week of school :(
Second transition day at Seachange town today! Yippeee she's so excited because she gets to go without us there, am hoping we find out teacher today but pretty sure it will be the 11th.
how did she like it Tan?
girls i want to hear tonight which teacher your girls have next year!! im so excited lol
Hope she had fun Tan! Olive dd had yellow again and we were there super early today so they were chatting so hoping miss yellow is her teacher she seems lovely.
They also said there are big changes To the timetable including bell times that they will talk about tonight.
i hope so too BR!!
ohhhhh interesting.......i was in class this arvo and miss yellow teacher couldnt say much, but will be interested to hear about changes! fill me in tonight please!!
Miss E wants yellow teacher too! But she also said red teacher is really nice too. Fingers crossed she gets one of them.
Hoping that bell time changes mean earlier lunch time!! Think it will take Miss E a while to adjust to the current time.
She had a blast and has a lovely teacher!!! Yippeeee!
Woohoo tan!!
Come on girls.....Im waiting!
That meeting went WAY WAY overtime!
Miss E will be in EL-H next year! They are putting two classes up on the hill run by two teachers both starting with H (Miss H and Mr H). Miss E is technically in Mr H's class but the classes will run together most of the time and they will only separate for specialist classes. So its basically a class of 40 with two teachers. Some parents were a bit vocal about it and a bit unsure. But the teachers took it all in their stride and apparently it works well in a current junior class. Anyway both teachers seem lovely and have lots of experience with younger kids. Can't wait to tell DD tomorrow. She'll be stoked that her kindy friend is in her class.
Lunch is earlier. 12.50pm. Have no idea what the current bell times are so don't know what else has changed lol! Start of school day and finish of school day is the same.
