Hi all,
I purchased a new iron (top of the range Sunbeam model) about a year ago ... and i use the inbuilt water spray most of the time when ironing but the last few weeks not as much water is spraying out there not getting those stubborn wrinkles out of clothes (especially DP's work shirts) !!
So, can anyone suggest if there is something i can do to clean it out or unblock it (i'm guessing that's the problem :rolleyes:) ??

Not sure about the spray, but I know you can use vinegar (mixed with water) to unblock the steam jets, you fill the iron, switch it on, and then tip it over so the water & vinegar trickles through. Smells like a fish and chip shop LOL but works. Empty the iron and rinse then put regular water thru it before using on clothes tho...Don't know if you could modify the vinegar technique for the spray?

........... sorry for late update, ... but i tried the vinegar but it didn't unblock it so does anyone else have any other ideas i can try (i'm getting desperate) :pray:
If you keep trying by pressing the button, it eventually works. It did for me after a few minutes! :D the pump draws in water/vinegar mixture which then takes effect.:
Sorry for the late reply, but I would suggest vinegar and water mix, or descaling liquid (if you own a pod coffee machine, you probably have this at home anyway, or supermarkets sell it, or look up how to make it yourself online if you make a lot of coffee, lol)
