if they're in glass jars might not be a good idea to freeze them... :lol:
Did you steralise the jars? If so, then in the cupboard is fine, generally at the back where it is nice and dark. If not, then I would say fridge and use them sooner rather than later.
ETA: Sorry just re-read your thread title. Even if using sterilised jars, I would not store a meat based sauce in the cupboard, only a veggie based one. I have frozen glass jars before when I was doing bulk baby food, they can be a bit dodgy especially if they are over full. All you can do is try and see how they go in the freezer.
