    Cooked meat storage?

I make up pasta sauce in big batches and seal in glass jars. Do I need to freeze it, fridge it, or pantry it? The buttons on the jars are down.

if they're in glass jars might not be a good idea to freeze them...

Did you steralise the jars? If so, then in the cupboard is fine, generally at the back where it is nice and dark. If not, then I would say fridge and use them sooner rather than later.

ETA: Sorry just re-read your thread title. Even if using sterilised jars, I would not store a meat based sauce in the cupboard, only a veggie based one. I have frozen glass jars before when I was doing bulk baby food, they can be a bit dodgy especially if they are over full. All you can do is try and see how they go in the freezer.
