I'm being lazy really too tired this week to research myself :redface:
Does anyone know if organic milk has only the one protein same as A2? Or is it just organic with the extra one?
And is A2 milk organic?? LOL Or are there certain brands of A2 that are organic???

I thought there was only one A2 brand? the ones you get at coles and woolies with a cow on it?
DD drinks that. I found when she drinks normal milk her eczema flares up.
Just one brand of A2 with full cream and light milk.
Its what we usually drink. I don't think its organic. (well I don't think its label as being so?)
Organic milk will normally still have the A1 casein in it.:
A2 milk is not considered organic

We buy A2 milk. My son has a cows milk protein intolerance (I believe this is the problem not lactose intolerance) and so we have this milk so he can have it. Normally when he eats dairy from milkshakes to yoghurt, he can get bad stomach cramps, nausea, diahorrea and even sometimes green poo :( There have been stories on the news about it too where people who previously reacted to milk with bloating, nausea and other stomach upsets from normal milk, have none on A2 milk. I think a protein intolerance is the issue for many people, not lactose. And after all it is milk made for baby cows, and ruminant animals have 4 stomachs for digestion. But thats just my humble opinion :)
ps. Apparently Jalna (? I am pretty sure its them) now have a line of A2 yoghurt.

Yup A2 milk is a brand, and currently the only brand screening their cattle to find ones that produce milk with predominantly the A2 beta-Casein. (some people are sensitive to the A1 protein, but not the original A2 that existed first.)
It's not organic, but all the organic milk on the market has predominantly the A1 beta-casien protein. So if protein intolerance is an issue A2 milk can be a solution for some people, although not all. Some have to avoid dairy all together.
We too could only tolerate A2 in our house, any other milk lead to diarrhea and eczema flare ups. Funnily enough DD1 has grown out of it and can now tolerate any kind of dairy.
we use the A2 here as well for DD2 because of her exzema with great results and e are close to a cafe that exclusively uses A2 milk for its milkshakes, coffee etc. From what i have read it is not organic but is an excellent product. You can also get A2 uht milk as well.
