Vomiting after a fall?
DD1 just pushed DD2 over :( and she fell backwards onto the carpet. I didnt see, DS did, but I heard it.
I picked her up straight away and she started vomiting :( I put her in a cool bath(its really hot here) and cleaned her up.
It was about 20 minutes ago and she hasnt vomited since and she seems fine.
did she vomit from the fall?
Ive never had this happen before and Im not too worried now as she seems fine but is there anything I should watch for?

It can be a sign of concussion, but other signs are drowsiness, confusion...you can probably safely google those symptoms without freaking out too much.
#1 fell out of his top bunk a while back and spewed about three times over the remainder of the night. If he'd spewed a fourth time we were going to do a hospital trip, but he felt fine in the morning, so we just took him to our GP who said he was fine. (Keep in mind, he could have fallen out of bed because he was feeling sick, so we aren't entirely sure what caused the vomiting.)
I'd watch for symptoms, and you know the usual - if in doubt, get her checked out. Hope she's okay. xo

I would call and check. Vomitting after a fall would concern me. I'm not sure what your version of it is but we have 13 Health? Can't hurt to check, better safe than sorry ya' know.

I would call nurse on line or something similar. Vomitting *can* be sign of concussion

When DD9 was younger she would vomit after hurting herself badly but as Nelle said keep your eye out for other signs as she may have hit her head when she fell.

Dianne

My daughter fell yesterday and that was one of the signs of concussion. Is she back to her normal self? The 24hour nurse helped us do an assessment over the phone and how to monitor her for up to 6 hours. Give them a call for sure.

vomiting is a sign of conussion.
I would watch, keep her alert if possible, reduce sleep times.
ensure she gets enough fluids.
if she looks unstable of off balance take her straight in.
