Asking for things back because you're not friends with someone anymore??

So I had this "friend"/Aquaintance whom my kids are friends with her kids, anyway, Shes pregnant & I lent her my baby capsule because I'm nice like that.

We used to be really good friends, then her boyfriend moved down and I became not good enough for her, lately shes been ignorning me more and more and is just plain rude when I see her she acts completley stuck up and ignores my best friend when shes less than a metre away (DDB I Dunno why you keep her on your FB grr) anyway I want my capsule back, why should I let her use it, My best friend (daydreambeliever) could use that for her baby due in sept.

I feel like im being silly & acting like a 16yr old though!!

I would ask for it back when she is finished tell her you have another friend that could really use it.

It is a little childish to ask for it back of she is still using it tho. IMO.

Yes my gut tells me im being spiteful and immature generally I would usually just say, oh well thats the way life goes.

But she has really made my blood boil, shes never said thank you for it, never thanked me for all the times i had her kids so she could manahe work AND uni, she is just a very ungreatful person

if you are at all hoping to reconcile the relationship than I would sit back and allow her to keep the capsule but if you are completely done with the friendship then tell her you need it back for your own baby.

I am so done!

We havnt had a fight or anything, i am just sick of her ungreatful behaviour so ive walked away, deleted from fb (which we all know is the be all and end all of society *sigh*) so im done and dusted!

Your gut tells you that you are doing it out of spite. That's fine. Acknowledge that you're being spiteful and that that probably puts you pretty much on the same level as her. Ask for it back. Enjoy making her squirm and move on.

Sometimes it's nice to cull negative toxic people from your life.
It might feel like a breath of fresh air has blown through and all the cobwebs have blown out.
Just leave the situation behind and don't look back. Looking back and dwelling on it will only hurt.

...If you never have to see or speak to her again, and she is as toxic as you think she is, then perhaps this is the best baby capsule you ever spent...

Let it go, wish her well, and get on with your life.
