I've just completed my PPL claim, and will need to provide our tenancy agreement by 17th August.
We're moving out of our rental on the 17th into our own home.
Should I just change my details to reflect the new address, or just call them and see what they want me to do?
I just hate being on hold! :p

I would just ring them later and update then.
Just from my past experience (and will add I know nothing about ppl), but if they asked for a particular document and you don't supply, it could hold up your payments..
So I would be calling to see if they need anything else so when bun comes, it is a smoother transaction.
Would much prefer being on hold now, then with a newborn settling into life and worrying about getting the money..
Supply tenancy agreement and give evidence of new place at same time. No need to be on hold at all
If you want to update your address later just get the post office to re direct your mail for a while after moving so you don't miss any letters in the meantime.
I wasn't on hold that long - only 25 minutes! And suprisingly very helpful and clear. Not what I'm used to from gov departments. I have a feeling the relationship between Centrelink & I is going to be good LOL
So, if anyone needs to know for future reference - the address applicable to a claim is the one when baby is born. So for us as baby isn't due till late September, they have noted we are moving into X address on X date therefore don't need the documents for current address. If that makes sense :) (but they still need our current address for postal purposes of course).
