I have gained very moderate weight during my pregnancy 12 kilos! lost 7 kilos soon after birth.so I am five kilos heavier than my pre- pregnancy weight.
Its been 2 months Iam trying my hard to lose but nothing seems working.Iam dieting and exercising no sugars, no juices, even not very sweet fruits
I don't understand why this weight is so stubborn.I carry 6 kgs weight and do bris walk for 40 minutes every alternate day.
Five kilos may sound small but I have a body type which make look a lot chunkier I look just ugly fat un attractive woman :wall: simply disappointed
seeing me on weighing machine makes me cry where the hell on earth my all effort is going.
Iam not eating more than 1200 cals a day some days they are even less.my face looks pale, I am tired and looks very ugly these days.my body aches and
muscles are torn,I feel very irritable and unhappy.( NO I am not iron deficient I take my supplement)
going through the thread I have realised Iam not eating as protein as others have mentioned on this forum.I eat once a day like at luch some protein or may be an boiled egg in breakfast
my breaky is = one slice of bread, one egg, without sugar tea.
snak= without sugar, v little skim milk tea, some oats (30 gms may be, small amount)
lunch two slices of bread with some chicken or meat.
evening snake = some cashew nut ( very little ) or maye be some peanuts ( but this is not always otherwise I eat half an apple or half cup of grapes)
dinner is a boil egg, or a cheese slice or some lintel soup or most of the time I skip all that and gab a slice of bread.( no milk and yoghurt)
and on top of that iam working out too carrying 6 kgs.
This five kilos should have gone a long time ago but Iam stuck and hate my love handles and muffin top.
please tell me where Iam doing wrong

I would say your going anything 'wrong'. Your metabolism can plateau which means it gets used to what you have been doing exercise wise, and now knows what it needs to burn off.
Try some cardio work then things like squats, or step ups, burpies (these hurt, but work)
There are some amazing blogs and you tube vids of PT's who can show what's worked for others.
I've had had two close friends loose over 30kg each, over the course of a year, and only now are showing shape.

Too much bread! Less carbs, more protein. Your dinner doesn't sound substantial enough. I'd also be swapping the nuts snack for fruit or veggies. Maybe you could think about increasing your exercise?

I agree with Hotl. A dietitian would be able to help you with a healthy balanced meal plan. It seems like you're not eating enough. Are you Breastfeeding? Breastfeeding mums need an extra 300 calories(I think I've got the number right) a day. If you don't eat enough of the different food groups, your body doesn't have what it needs to fuel itself, make milk and loose weight. Perhaps also give yourself a bit more time before trying to loose weight. Good luck!

Actually I didn't read your food intake properly (was early!) but yes more food! You need to feed your metabolism to get it to burn more.

Nimra if you talk with your doctor, they can organize a care plan where You get to see a dietitian for very little $$. I think it's called an Allied Health Plan. The dietitian could help teach you about eating enough of all the different food groups so your body is well nourished and healthy.
And tell those mean people who make nasty comments that having some weight on after having a baby is essential for Breastfeeding and hormone balance. It ensures you and your baby survive. Or take the other route and tell them to keep their opinions to themselves!
