Hi....I went in for a scan yesterday and was told my baby measured only 6 and half weeks and could not detect a heartbeat....I believed I was almost 10. I had blood tests done immediately for Hcg levels. My doctor rang me this morning and told me they were very high and wants me to wait another week to retest. I still feel pregnant and have had no signs of cramping or bleeding. I have had two miscarriages in the past year so I'm terrified! Waiting and not knowing is mental torture.

The waiting game can be very difficult, fingers crossed for the outcome you're after.

If you are only 6 and a half weeks a heartbeat may not be detectable yet. Some ultrasound clinics won't do scans until 7 weeks for that reason as it causes undue trauma.
I hope things work out well- the bit knowing is very painful.
Thanks everyone for your well wishes.....I'm pretty sure about the dates give or take only a couple of days I have been ovulating late but that doesn't really allow for the time frame! The us is indicative of my conception date! Waiting and not knowing is the worse....every time I go to the bathroom I anticipate seeing something but there is nothing, it is messing with my head because it is all I can think about!
Well I started spotting brown blood on Friday and was told to stay in bed and get my blood test on Wednesday unless I start bleeding heavily! I am cramping especially in my lower back and all down my legs and have constant headaches! I still feel pregnant. I'm concerned though and not sure if I should be getting checked...thoughts?
Are you going tomorrow for bloods..i would go and get check then....hope its not bad news...hugs
