Well it's that time of year again when the easy parts of our lists are ticked off, but the hard ones remain. The queues are getting longer and a few people are developing involuntary twitches.
SO - this is a community service thread. If there's something you need to find, fast just ask. The BB elves are only a post away!
So I'll start. Where's a good place to find a lovely but not too expensive scarf (summery one) for a middle-aged auntie?
I saw scarves in Katies for like $10.
Is anyone in Melbourne going to Costco between now and Christmas? I reallllllly want to get my kids a 5kg jar Nutella but don't want to pay the $60 membership fee just for that one thing. So if anyone is going, I'd be forever grateful if you could please pick me up a jar. I'll pay you, of course.
You can buy them at other places too - LaManna direct in Essendon has them and I've seen them somewhere else too

Ohh.. I have Secret Santa on Friday.. a $10 spend, for a male, late 20's, a really nice person (what I do know of him) and can take a joke.. so would love some help.. DH wasn't any help at all :(
Mrs F, not sure about the Jake scooters, maybe someone else has seen them? ETA Lasoo says Toys R Us and Myer both have them on special, both three wheelers. The Toys R has the two wheels at the back and the Myer one has the two wheels at the front - not sure how big/suitable for a 3 yo they would be?
DMB - is he a blokey kind of bloke? Any interests you know about?
Jaycee, if you're going shopping in the big town near us earlier in the day is better, there are people everywhere and parking at Woolies/Big W is madness!
Mrs F, there are 3 wheeled scooters at Big W, they have the two wheels at the front which apparently makes turning easier. I know the girls one is purple with Tinkerbelle on it, but not sure about the boys version sorry.
I've got all mine sorted except I need to get DD's best friend a little something and I'm stuck....
4yr old who is a 'Princess', loves dress up's and make up and handbags (but has heaps already and I know her mum wouldn't want anymore), she has LOTS of books and is the complete opposite to DD who is a tomboy and loves to play outside in the dirt.
It was both hers and DD's birthday in October and I got her some sidewalk chalk and an outfit - pink jeans and a top - so looking to get something different.
So ideas anyone?? Don't want to spend too much.
what about a magnetic dress up set? they sit around the $15-25 mark. tiger tribe do some lovely smaller ones.:

Tinks: mediterranean wholesalers in brunswick on sydney road sells them too. (giant nutella). and 'marias deli' in brunswick on nicholson st.

I'm after coloring books for a 12 month old little boy .. I can't find any good ones for his age anywhere :/ they all have crosswords and things added in which are to old for him

Cinder - I've found the basic colouring books in the $2 shops to be best for littlies - no crosswords etc ;)
TaRhLi - bead set? What about fabric pens/crayons and a plain calico bag so she can decorate her own library/swimming/shopping bag? Glitter pens, sequins, crafty stuff?
Anyone know anywhere that sells lightweight cargo pants for DH? Lowes had a few pairs the other day, but not in DH's size.
