I don't know anything about it as I haven't been pregnant yet. But just wanted to say good luck, hope everything is ok. We will all be thinking of you and keep us informed!

Have your HCG levels been rising? If so then that would be a very good sign. I hope everything is OK.

Hi Lisajane (I'm a Lisa Jane too!! lol)
I had bleeding when I was pregnant with Harrison... though I was further along (9-10 weeks)... it was mostly the pinkish to brownish colour.
As Satya mentioned, have your HCG levels increased? Perhaps contact your Dr and arrange to have bloods taken to find out your HCG levels...
Otherwise, I had an internal scan done when I was almost 6 weeks, and we could see a visible fetal pole and a heartbeat... maybe you could find out if that is an option.
HTH... Fingers crossed that is very sticky little bubba you've got!!!

Hey hun.
I had bleeding with DD at 6 weeks for about 2 days and with DS for 17 weeks. DD was red blood and DS was a brownish colour but like AF heavy wise. I wouldnt stress( easier said then done) untill you have another u/s.
I really hope all is ok. Good sign is that you had no cramping. It could just be implantation. Thats was the doc said about DD.
Good luck and hope all is well!!

Hi Lisa Jane,
It might be the implantation bleeding. I'm 10 weeks and had bleeding on Monday so know exactly how you are feeling. I rang a midwife and she asked if I had any pain, cramping etc. She wasn't overly concerned when I said I hadn't she suggested it might just be the placenta implanting, the bleeding went again. I think it's pretty common but go and see your GP if it's bothering you alot. Hope that helps, thinking of you.

I too have been having spotting.. The at home says positive, my intuitions say I am but doc pee test says no blood says mildly prego on monday. Took another today Wed. still in the same situation mildly prego. He wants me to take another blood test next week. He says he thinks more likely then not a miscarrage. very slim chance I somehow caught the prego in its very early stages. I have not had any clumps w/my spotting. I feel like I have been given a one way ticket to hell (to much Up and Down) anyone have a similar experience? I did have bleeding with my other two kids but this is the first time I have been told that I probably lost the baby. My hub thinks everything is fine and I am worrying for nothing. I pray he is right! the one time I told you so phrase would be music to my ears.

Hi Lisajane
It's a godd sign that the bleeding has turned to a brown colour and an even better sign that it has topped. Sometimes it is possable to detect a heartbeat at 5 weeks but a check of your HCG levels will tell you what is going on.

Hi Lisajane
I had bleeding with this pregnancy first at 9.5 weeks then again at 11 weeks. I had two ultrasounds and everything was okay. I don't think I have ever been so scared in my life but my doctor said it is pretty normal in pregnancy. I hope everything is okay. Good luck. Thinking of you.
