Well I love to be first. Thanks for the answers Kyra, really interesting. Wonder why you popped out earlier this time?? Fascinating.. I didn't want to know the gender, now I think I do, meanwhile, DH definitely did, and now he thinks he doesn't! :rolleyes:

Anyone else, I know it's a pain, but if you can be bothered to go back to the old thread and read my questions, I'd be interested in your experiences. The books are useful, but so scared of saying "probably" that they don't always tell you when things might happen!

LondonMiss - Keeping tabs on who squawks the loudest songs like fun. So far it will go to my 2 girlfriends from school. We had a long arranged dinner and I decided to tell them because I wasn't drinking. They were so excited and it was so nice to have two of the first people I tell be so over the top and excited. Their children are a little older so they are excited about having a baby around again. My MIL reaction was to announce she will have to start making a quilt! I can't answers most of your questions but can comment on these 2.

1. I have been eating heaps of fruit, like 4 pieces a day and haven't gotten blocked up. If you are having this problem and you aren't keen on the prune juice, pear juice should work just as well.
2. DH & I aren't planning on finding out the gender either. I could have been talked into finding out but DH definitely doesn't want to. I am happy with that and looking forward to the surprise. If you found out could you keep it to yourself?

Airline - Iam sorry to hear that you didn't get you heartbeat at your second scan. I hope your BT's results today can put your mind at rest. I remember from the TWW wait thread that you had a slow rising HCG at first so maybe it was just a late implantation. Everything will be crossed till the 9th.

Kyra - Sorry to hear that you didn’t get the house. I hope you find something even better soon.

Kelly - thanks for the book recommendation I will have to check it out.

Grub - not long to go now. Sounds like everything is going to plan..... Just make sure you keep those legs closed for another 8 days, although a few extra would be good as it would be nice for you and DH to have a couple of days together before the bub is born.

Afm - I have been feeling a little nauseous lately. DH and I went out to dinner last night for our wedding anniversary at this posh restaurant we have been wanting to try for ages. I think the food was a bit rich as it didn't sit too well...... except for the apple tartan I had for dessert..... that was to die for!

i forgot to say thank you to the mod for our new thread

first of all: LM's questions
a) if you had MS, when did it stop? I got MS from 6 weeks to 14 weeks and then nausea and feeling crook again from about 20 weeks. Felt very tired and blah pretty much since then. want my body back now.
b) when did you get big enough that you couldn't lie on your belly anymore? i stopped laying on my back once my belly started showing it's cos of the vein that supplies the placenta etc and bub and organs squishing it. So started sleeping on my side as a precaution. Now i can't cos i feels like my stomach is in my neck. sleeping on my side was very uncomfy at first and highly recommend getting a man-pillow.
c) when were you big enough that random people could tell? about 14 or 16 weeks.
d) when were you big enough that close friends could tell? about 12 weeks
e) Did any of you find out the gender and regret it, or not find it out and regret it? Yep found out and nope haven't regretted that decision. It was DH's call (i sort of felt like it was my gift to him for being so wonderful through ivf etc) and i'm happy we found out. but next baby (let's think optimiscally lol) i think i might not find out. we have all the stuff now anyway and i won't mind what colour, can't change it!
f) Should I really be drinking prune juice? Never been constipated in my life and it sounds pretty horrid!!! You get constipated thanks to the progesterone in your system. Only drink the prune juice if you are actually constipated and plenty of fresh fruit/vegs etc I mixed the prune juice ith other juice cos i didn't like the taste and ate fresh prunes. I had very bad constipation from weeks 6 to about 14/16 weeks. It was very painful and the prunes helped. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water. The constipation hasn't really come back since then - gone the opposite way for the past 2 or 3 months brh.

yep Mitf lol legs crossed... until dh gets home next friday *wink* *wink*. it's been 8 weeks... EIGHT LONG LONG LONG LONG weeks. i think that's the whole reason my DH is so excited about coming home. I'm going to jump him the minute he steps in the house, I can just see the fear in his eyes as a huge preggy lady pounces on his skinny butt lol.

mitf - i'm very glad to hear you didn't let MS interfere with dessert. lol. I have gone off meat and fish and bread and potatoes and various other things through out this pregnancy - but never, ever chocolate! lol. I'm very proud of you lady.

went and whaled about the pool this morning... glorious! then got haircut and took myself out to lunch... spent the entire time pretending to read the newspaper while eavesdropping on the table next to me... talking about people i know through work... heehee. Am now back on my lounge, fur baby asleep in her bed next to me and i'm about to hit the paints lol.

hope you are all well. three sleeps til MIL here yaya!!! and 8 days til DH home! that's like a week... AND he aced his exams!!!! so proud. oxoxo

ATM eating a sprinkle donut. hmmmmmmmmmm yummy..........

I got home early yesterday and went outside with my paint and just enjoyed some good music. DF came home fuming due to a speeding fine. I just let him go huff puff etc.

He found the nicobate stuff I baught and said 'thanks' and how much. I said if it helps FREE lol.

We sat outside for about 2 hours while I painted listening to some music and talking about his work, the weekend etc. Was nice, no tv just us time. We were suposed be being going to his place on the weekend but the weather is awful (and there's a ferry to get there!) so I'm thinking of pulling out. DF needs to go be in the bush for a bit though and I'm happy for him to go on his own. He's already said he wont go back until bubs is born which is sweet.

So I think things are calm now. I do feel so much more hormonal atm though, I guess my body is getting ready to deliver but it is strange, I'm really hot, really sleep (slept through my alarm) and very teary. anyone else there yet?

Hi everyone,
So sorry for being super slack and not dropping in sooner, I just barely have time to be here now, have been so busy and so much going on and trying to get all my work done before going on mat leave, 3 weeks and counting and am down to 4 days a week now. Have heaps of news, DH has a JOB!!!! after being out of work for all of this year, which has taken so much pressure off and I can go on mat leave knowing we have $ coming in, our renos are almost finished, I have my baby shower this weekend :dance: and am pretty much organised. All has been going well with me, though did have a little scare last week with a sharp stitch like pain in my lower right hand side, and after 2 hours of this went to hospital for a check, all was fine though they couldn't find any reason except twin 2 had switched around and her head was jammed up against my ovary and pushing on my ligaments. So after doing too much work on the house and pushing it a bit too much, I have come to my senses and won't be doing anything physical from here on in. I have my 28 week scan next Tue, just hanging out for that to make sure all is going well in there, even though both are very active, I just want that reassurance.

Just quickly:

Murph, I have written endless posts to you in my head about how amazing and brave a woman you are, and how lucky your beautiful Jazzy is to have you as a mother. When I read your post, I was sitting at my desk crying, my boss walked passed and I ended up almost hyperventilating trying to get the words out as to why I was crying. Please know that all our thoughts are with you, and I only hope that I would have the strength of spirit and heart to move forward with such hope, that you do.

Greenslw, will have a good read of your post and catch up on where you are, but I see your dates are coming up soon, thinking of you.

Smithy my sweets, happy coming 29 weeks, you are amazing and thank you for your endless positive posts.

Grub, I am dying for a swim too, but have workers/labourers at the house every day. Can't wait for the weekend. So happy for you that DH is home next weekend, hope it flys by.

It started at about 8 weeks and ended at about 11weeks (but in there I got a virus and migrane and was in hospital for 5 days! hell on earth!)

b) when did you get big enough that you couldn't lie on your belly anymore?

Well, I am only 15ish weeks.. so.. I can still lie on my belly, but not for too long. Same with my right hand side, if i lie that way for too long I get some pain, a bit like a pulled muscle.

c) when were you big enough that random people could tell?

Yesterday! lol.. I was walking (waddling) past the pizza shop down at my work and the owner noticed.. whilst I was stuffing my face with a sausage roll:redface:

d) when were you big enough that close friends could tell?

Havent really had that experience, all my friends knew at about 11 weeks.

e) Did any of you find out the gender and regret it, or not find it out and regret it?

We are finding out, I may regret it.. but I am so impatient and a bit of a control freak, so I lose both ways!

f) Should I really be drinking prune juice? Never been constipated in my life and it sounds pretty horrid!!!

Hmm.. I am consitpated on and off.. :dance: but seriously, its painful and annoying.. and if you think you are prone to consitpation, do the prune juice thang.. for me I just take my elevit every second day rather than every day and try to eat salad and mangos and bananas

Hey girls,
Mon hcg was 36000 Wed it was 50000 - that's good right? Still feeling nauseas today - this is not normal for me. Of course DH and I have dissected it every which way, and we think 1. hopefully it was late implantation - does this happen?
2. it's a good/albeit awkward sign that i'm feeling m/s
3. gonna go to GP next week and ask for ANOTHER BT and he has a scanner, so see if we can find any heartbeat next week.
4. the sonographer mentioned it's against the wall - indicating difficult to see clearly - could the fetal pole/heartbeat be hiding??
So I sit nibbling ginger, drinking ginger ale and feeling :sick:

green - sounds like you had an awesome time with DH....we like sitting and having brekky/lunch on our patio and today he pottered while I lay on the lounger talking to my furbabies and giving him directions :p

mitf - I so hope you're right with the late implantation....I didn't know if that would affect the whole timeline ...glad you enjoyed your dessert!! apples, fruit and healthy you know!!;)

Morning all. Just told my parents and skype broke just at the wrong time so I didn't get to see their reactions :cry: gutted. It's tough sometimes being so far away at the best and worst of times.

My mother (who panics about anything and everything and panics when she has nothing to panic about) told me not to panic.. hilarious.

My symptoms are wavering and I know that there is a perfectly sensible explanation for everything (I didn't sleep well because it's too damn hot, my back aches because I was working on my useless desk chair, I don't feel as sick because I had something little early on, my stomach aches but *TMI* I think I'm full of wind after a root veg and bean caserole last night) but I'm still panicking that it's somehow slipping away.... please do feel free to tell me I'm being a silly cow and to stop it.

LM... no dolly will I call you that! You've been as supportive to me as everyone else on the forum, both in the LTTTC/2ww and this one. As you've listed yourself, there are many reasons for all your symptoms having come/abated.
I'm trying to do the 'not panicing' thing too. It works most of the time.:)

I'm off to go and walk my furbaby before it gets any hotter. You take care, and enjoy the m/s reprieve at the mo.

Hi Ladies!

just popping in! I am at In-laws so cannot say much at all! Had a good read and good to hear everyone's stories as usual! I am being spoilt by my in-laws (makes a change from my own family LOL!) They took me shopping today and bought me a dressing gown, slippers and bits for my hospital bag. I also spent my leaving work present vouchers on maternity tops and a couple of bras. I don't care if they don't fit when my milk comes in...the daggy one I have now goes up to my neck and means I cannot wear half of my wardrobe (I like a plunging neckline!!! LOL!) So I needed some others and these are a little nicer and I will have at least 8 weeks wear out of them. I figure it is not my money so I can indulge!! DH hasn't broached subject of accommodation at time of birth yet with his parents and we are leaving tomorrow so I am getting a bit worried! At least I know they will be more reasonable than my wicked stepmother!

Sorry no persies....Belly rubs to all!

LM - positive thoughts, postive thoughts, positive thoughts... and enjoy your moment. panic, stress, anxiety - it comes with the territory love and will stay with you throughout, but you can control it's impact on you. Don't let nasty niggling thoughts eat away at you. You are doing everything right and I'm sure it's all fine. YOu can't change the way anything will turn out apart from your positive positive positive mood!

And don't worry, i'm constantly poking my baby to make him move cos after you are stressed about your bubs stickiness in the first few weeks; then about the CF risk; developmental tests; movement; growth etc... you get to the stage where i'm at and you worry about stillbirth and something going wrong in labour etc. It's a never ending cycle. I just try and deal with it by pushing those thoughts aside and focussing on the positive "oh, he's jumping on my bladder again and made me wee a little'' ;)

What a bummer about skype!! lol. were they screechers? did they do a little cheer?

bdt - 28 weeks already! wow that went quickly lol. Hey and congrats on DH's new job,what a load off your shoulders. these last few weeks at work will fly by! believe me!

AFM - not much to report. watched some more tv, painted some more and dropped a white paintbrush on the good leather lounge! lucky DH wasn't home, but i could hear the lecture from afar lol. my honey will be home in ONE WEEK... ONE WEEK, THAT'S SEVEN DAYS!!!! SEVEN SLEEPS!!!! and then i can have this little baby1!!!!!!!! hooorraaayy.

but unfortunately feeling quite stressed cos of all the weeks for bub to arrive early, this woud be the worst possible. DH has 3 days and one exam left to finish his course and if bub comes between now and next thurs, he'll have to go back next year.. but not jusst for four days, probably for a few weeks to revise all the stuff. So i'm staying very very quiet from now ti thurs. No swims, no walks, no lifting stuff, no nothing - BBBBOORRRIIINNNGGG.

so you should all keep posting here and entertain me! lol. (it's all about me!)

How you feeling Grub? Not long to go now... How exciting. It sounds boring, do you have lots of DVDs to watch, or good books? I take it your bag has been packed for months? Anything nice you can add? I'm a completely addict now to audio books from Itunes. I'm currently listening to the Hobbit and it's quite distracting, you can listen whilst lying under a fan (my current favourite position). My sickness dilemmas are nothing compared to being chased by evil goblins!!!

Smithy High Pants Chief Dobber - I'm still having issues with my damn ticker. Why does it not just tick!!!! Can I fix it or do I need to redo it? Hows the bump?

Poppyfairy - I get you totally. I normally have my boobs half out ha ha, they are much nicer than my face :D. So cos my boobs hurt, I've been wearing a sports bra and it sticks up over the top of most things. It looks minging! oh well. I've got lots of stuff ordered, including a plunge maternity bra, from Marks and Spencer who now deliver to Aus. happy expat : )

Greenslw - I've been fantasisng about blumming sprinkle doughnuts since your post!!!

Hello there everyone,
I'm waiting for the courier to bring my new lovely red computer and killing time on DHs computer while he's out trapping, so I've read most posts but of course can't comment on you all.

As I'm writing, Jazz has been waking up and keeping herself amused talking and babbling happily for hours, but me thinks it's now feeding time so this will be shorter than expected.

BabyDreamtime - I have had one moment of sadness about the whole deafness thing but that's only because she is jibbering so much and they do that until they are 6 months but after that, when they don't get that feedback that hearing babies get, they drop off and don't make those sounds anymore. That is really the only thing I find sad because its so lovely hearing her express herself and find her little voice even though she can't hear it.

Now that she is 4 weeks old she is really developing some skills and I"m having so much fun bringing my developmental psychology into play. Her favourite friend is the picture of a face I have drawn for her and put in her basinette, she interacts with it for ages, talking and gazing. She has just started to get more alert after being sleepy and tired so she's more robust and hasn't got that fragile baby thing going on. Yesterday was a day of many firsts, interacting with a cot mobile and reaching out and holding a toy. she is getting control of those funny little flailing limbs and the learning is is full swing. I love it. You can practically see those neurons connecting by the minute, she's so alert and not at all a worry anymore. Play time can be anytime of the day or night and more often lately for about 5 hours at really convenient times like 1am until 6am but it's so cute. she never cries unless pushed to her absolute tether (like for a feed while driving or at the doctor's or something, but at home she just makes funny little noises and is so cute that instead of it stressing you out, you just wake up laughing. Now we sleep through it and can ignore it a bit but at first we didn't know what was going on, she went form sleepy baby to active baby overnight it seems. I know it's hard not to feel sorry when all you hear about is that she is not perfect, but honestly, we are not sad overall and have a tonne of support. Hearing australia takes her on from birth until age 21 and she has already had multiple appointments now, had molds made of her ears and is getting fitted for the world's tiniest hearing aids on the 17th of December in Townsville. We are getting hot pink! Too cute. Yeah it's a bugger but if you have to have a disability, it's a very small obstacle compared to many others hey?

By the way, as her hearing loss is so profound (no response to any stimulus) we don't expect the hearing aids to work so we are learning Auslan and baby sign. we will look at our options for cochlear implant (which can be done as young as 4 months, but all these tings require general anaesthetic and is done in Brisbane so there is a lot to consider. The best thing is, like I said, there is a world of support and everything is covered financially so we feel quite spoilt.

Oh damn, I wanted to answer the questionnaire, but spent forever talking about myself. Meanwhile, I don't need to know sign language to know fist in mouth means "get off the bloody computer and feed me!"

mumma murph - first i'm going to reprimand you! have you ever met a perfect child? I'd say jazzy is perfect for you guys and sounds like you are all doing so well. I can completely hear the love in your voice, what a lucky little girl. and I completely agree with you - of all the disabilities in the world to have and with all the technology now out there, hearing is not as insummountable as it may first appear to be. They are going great guns with the cochlear implants as well!

you make me sooo jealous! i want my little boy here now!! after hearing the way you speak about your gorgeous little one, i just can't wait to have those moments.

Hey, I'm not special by the way. That love in your voice just can't be helped. You wait til you feel the love in your heart. My poor DH is saying things he would never have believed possible. He's usually all blokey and calling kids "tige", but this one is "princess" and "beautiful" and he loses himself in her eyes for long long minutes and emerges with that "isn't she just amazing" look on his face. You'll go there and so will your lovely blokes. Look after your men because they will surprise you with how they will look after you. the only other girls I met in hospital had supportive partners and I think it seems like times have changed. It's the partners that help with the breastfeeding and settling etc the most and all those practical skills come in handy. they were the ones listening in class when we were just clucky over cute babies in the video.

I have been trying to catch up and read eveyone's posts and I have just gotten to Grub and the question about have I had my bub... The Answer to that one is no hun... BDT knows what gender I am having as I posted it in my journal but haven't had time to post in here cause DH has been in hospital having an Op to fix his sleep apnea and I think that was what was confusing lol.. So... It's a BOY... Sorry for the confusion Hun and as soon as I can work out the photo gallery I will post a gorgeous picture of him that the sonographer took... He looks just like a person and he has my nose.. lol...

Aww a boy! Theres been alot of boys around me recently in the preggie department so maybe im having a girl to be different :p Still dont know how im going to hold out on finding out the sex at my scan in two weeks, but somehow.. I will do it! :p

I applied for it today, it is beautiful! Lowset brick and tile with gorgeous big flat backyard fully fenced that i can put DS's christmas trampoline "santas bringing him" in and his birthday pool! (his birthdays in Jan) And our puppy can fineally go outside and do her icky business! LOL wish me luck! I dont want to have to keep looking again!

I have no idea where to post this question, but I figure most ladies in here would know what I am on about!

After having my lap myomectomy and falling pregnant about 2 months later- I have noticed that most days I get "cramping" pain, I dunno if this is just general stretching pain cause is my first bubs, or its tender cause of all the scar tissue from removal of my fibroids?????

My sis isnt very helpful, she is on her third, so things have been stretched before....

Never fear... I'm back! Long story short, phone & internet has been disconnected for 3 days over something totally stupid that wasn't even our fault! Been arguing & having yelling matches for weeks with the telco and getting nowhere, finally today after 3 hours of being mucked around I'd had enough and passed a comment about understanding why people go nuts with guns and it was all fixed in less than 5 mins :rofl:

Won't do too many persies, a little too much for my poor brain to catch up with.

Questionnaire:

a) if you had MS, when did it stop? I really didn't get much ms, mainly between 6-8wks I was a little nauseous, I literally only threw up like 3 times. But that being said, I made sure I stuffed my face every couple of hours becasue as soon as my stomach was almost empty I would feel a little seedy.

b) when did you get big enough that you couldn't lie on your belly anymore? 6 weeks, but not becasue I was too big. My belly has been very sensitive the whole time. I had to start undoing my jeans at 5 weeks and sleeping on my side at 6 weeks.

c) when were you big enough that random people could tell? Not quite sure. I am a little bit bigger build so I think a lot of people wondered but weren't game enough to say much. I've mentioned it to a few people who have replied "Yerah I thought so but didn't want to say anything just in case." I'm now getting definite comments in public though.

d) when were you big enough that close friends could tell? 7 1/2 weeks. I just popped overnight. Luckily by then DH had told everyone he knew, as well as a lot of people he didn't even know out of excitement :lol:


e) Did any of you find out the gender and regret it, or not find it out and regret it? No we didn't find out. DH was dead set against it, I was 50/50. As much as I would love to know and love to get used to the name, I think it will be a nicer surprise if DH is the one to find out during the birth.


f) Should I really be drinking prune juice? Never been constipated in my life and it sounds pretty horrid!!! I had horrible constipation weeks 8 to 12. I swear a couple of times I thought I WAS giving birth! I ate fresh prunes rather than the juice. But for me I have also found cashews and baked beans have the same effect. Also try to have fruit every day and lots of water. And a bit of light exercise will help too (I do aquarobics)

Think I might come back a bit later and finish this post off. Am really hot, tired and headachy so might go park in the pool for a bit. Hope you're all good and :bellyrubs: to you all!

anyhoo, had a little meltdown today at a poor rental maintenance call centre lady today. I broke down and cried on the phone cos the loo broke lol. poor lady (who was being a complete cow up til then mind you, nearly fell over herself to help after that). In the end the loo wasn't broken, it was a quick fix and I felt like a complete idiot afterwards. Unfortnautely DH called just after the phone call iwth the lady, and i was bawling my eyes out... so then i made him worried :( And even worse, when he called back a few hours later, I cried again! poor darling man. just hormones, heat, stress of the past 7 weeks and i forgot to get something for dinner... then the loo breaks on friday arvo! straw, camel, you know.

hi everyone please excuse the typing im on my phone Well.... My beautiful boys were born on wednesday morning..... Jack william (2.8kg) and samuel isaac (2kg) were born via emerg c sec at 0120 and 0123 25th nov (wed am) after an 11hr failed induction! We are still in hosp few issues with temperature control, weight loss, slow feeding etc but the boys r with me im loving being a mum it is the most amazing thing ever i love them and the kisses and cuddles r priceless! Thankyou to everyone 4 all the support will come back when i get a chance to post more - smithy would u mind letting the twin forum know - ta! Lots of love to all x

Krikkit- I had sharp pains near where I think my ovaries are for most of my early pregnancy. I went to the doc about it because I was convinced it was something wrong like the placenta bursting or something. Since it was a pain I was also familiar with before I used to get a period I was also worried it meant 'all over red rover'. The doctor thought it was stretching but I remember also that my FS had said that I might feel twinges and pains in my ovaries because of the combination of the IVF treatment, my PCOS and the ovarian drilling I had had a few months before. So perhaps your pain is related to the previous ops??

Murph - Jaz sounds gorgeous. I am going to do that face thing too as it sounds great. I have actually made a cloth mobile that I was worried might only be suitable for girls as it is stuffed babushka dolls in various bright colours. However they have lovely faces on them so there is nothing wrong with a little boy looking at and interacting with faces is there!! In fact perhaps more little boys need those sort of toys early in their development!! You just often feel that you should only buy or get car, plane and truck themed things for little boys!!! I am against gender stereotyping babies but society gets to you!!!
I hope all this early intervention means you get to hear Jaz express herself for longer and pretty quickly again if she does stop. I am guessing there are facial interaction exercises you could do with her to help her be able to form the sounds even if she cannot hear them. I also guess the experts would know all about that!

Bella- Congratulations!!! Looking forward to seeing pics!!! I hope the 11 hour failed induction wasn't too awful

Londonmiss - Marks and Spencers was one of the BIG things I missed about the UK. Especially the food hall! We just drove down the M6 from Wigan today and we ignored several Services until we got to an M&S one for a ploughmans deep fill sandwich and their smoothies. yum!

Now the questions!

Same with the pcos belly and they knew about the IVF so it was a logical conclusion for them(well Thank God it was this time...I had spent about 7 years being asked when I was due by people in the street because of my random little PCOS belly before which was heartbreaking enough and would have been devastating to have to deal with after a failed attempt)


e) Did any of you find out the gender and regret it, or not find it out and regret it? There was no way I wasn't finding out!! 7 years waiting for this little person...I am not waiting any longer to find out anything about him!!!! No regrets.

Grub - I hear you about the rental lady crying incident. I burst into tears at a traffic warden when he gave me an unfair ticket (my back wheels were just off my Dad's driveway and on the path and my car had broken down and I was unable to move it and was just waiting for the mechanic!!!). Unfortunately those barstewards have hearts of stone and he didn't care!!! Anyway DH is home soon to deal with all these hassles and nasty people before they get to you!

I am tentatively joining this forum, as I have had a positive result. I am hoping to be here for the next 9 months or so.

I recognise a few names, but my goodness there is a lot going on here so it may take a while for me to catch up with everyone’s stories. So I apologise that this post is all about me

My story is that I had two embies transferred on the 23rd of October and had negative blood test results. As AF did not show up I had a blood test the following week which was still negative. I was told to wait two weeks. Well after two weeks no AF, but was feeling nausea. So took a test and there was very faint line. As of Tuesday the 24th of Nov my HCG was 1350. So it looks like despite the fact AF never appeared I ovulated naturally and conceived naturally!! Although the nurses and my FS are not confirming or denying what has happened, they want to wait for my scan before they draw any conclusions. They just keep telling me it is unusual.

My first scan is next Thursday. I think I must have had nausea from the first day of implantation and my boobs are killing me.

I have a TMI question for everyone, I have had a tinge blood in CM and when I wipe after going to the loo. I am a bit paranoid that I will end up having another miscarriage. Has anyone else experienced this and been ok? Should I call the nurse and have another blood test?

Grub -=- I had a little giggle at your toilet scenario (sorry ;)) I really do understand where you are comeing from tho! These hormones can just drive us crazy cant they! I myself can get stressed over the same silly things.. I dont know if everyones picked up on my inscessive whineing about finding a house.. But ive broken down many times over that even tho its completely selfish because we arnt getting kicked out and will always have a roof over our heads! But sometimes the simplest things like a broken toilet, or one of my favourites, opening the fridge and knocking some sort of wet food face down all over your foot :doh: can set off a Shakespeare worthy tear show!! So I can definately simpathise! Dont worry, Im sure Your DH can figure out that your just feeling a little fed up lately, and hopefully wil bring you home some snuggles to help you feel Better xx

BOC -=- dont even get me started on phone companies.. or gas companies... or any of those categories you truely need for everyday life. Had to smile at the gun comment tho! Would have loved to see the look on there faces as they fineally pulled the finger out and got it fixed up for you ... HEHE good one ya sweety!

Krikkit -=- I myself was lucky enough to fall pregnant just before we were ready to start investing in finding what was wrong.. so I cant really help you there... But I do know two things.. Both surgery and pregnancy can cause pain and discomfort in that particular area, So Im guessing its probably a mixture of the two.. Dont quote me on it, but try not to stress out too much ok .. If you are really worried you should mention it to you midwife or OB.. hope I could help even a little, even though I know you probably already had what I just said in mind :)

Sonyalouise -=- HEY THERE! And congrats on the BFP.. Yes I do have some news for you.. Me and DH have had two MC's before we fell pregnant to this one.. Both times yes it did start with slight spotting, but rest assured each time within hours of that it was bright red heavy bleeding :( This time around at about 5 and a half weeks I once again started geting the heavy period cramping and freaked out (as you do) When I went to check myself in the womens toilets, I broke down then and there the moment I saw blood.. But it was alot more like what your discribing, and after 2 weeks of hospital visits, we were told its a very common and normal thing to happen, called Implantation bleeding.. Where the egg has burrowed into the wall of your uterus, and sheds a little of the lineing. So relax Hun xox I know its really scary but unless you have severe cramping and bleeding, I wouldnt stress about it too much.. But of course if your worryed by all means get it checked out.. But I hope this has helped you to take a breath and feel a little better about the whole thing.. Gotta love pregnancy, Full of Horryfyingly scary surprises and worrys :wall:

AFM - As it turns out there are No pets allowed in the house I was talking about yesterday.. No one seems to want my furbaby in there yard! So we're back to square one again.. But im trying to no let it get me down. And instead I scrubbed the house im in today to try to feel a little better about being here (incase we really are stuck here for a long time) and decided to ask DH to take down all the stuff we've got packed to the garage so if it comes to it i can set up the nursery here (hopefuly not, a few months yet but just to be safe)

DS is being beautifull today.. He greeted me in my room this morning with a cuddle and a kiss and a "luss you mummy" And Ive just felt like gold ever since! Hope everyone is doing well! Will pop back on soon! xox Ky

My DH doesn't get too worried though, he just does what's probably the best thing for us and goes and sits down on the lounge and watches a movie and avoids eye contact as much as possible... probably safer that way or I'd start on him too LOL

Sorry about my half hearted post yesty ladies, while I was writing I suddenly started feeling really sick, light headed, headachy and nauseous. I don't know if it was the heat or what. I went to get into the pool to cool down but couldn't stand it for some reason so I just went and laid down for an hour and drank another couple of litres of water (and ended up peeing all night but hey). Feeling a lot better today.

Had a little disappointment this morning. Tonight was supposed to be my step-gdaughter's dancing concert. Been looking forward to it all year, and been excited for weeks. But I got a phone call this morning to say her little brother has just come out with chicken pox (3rd time in 2 years! AND he's been vaccinated too!) and the other 2 kids might be carrying it so we've decided not to go just to be safe. I'm gutted. We were the only other family members going too :angry: I'm really disappointed. She will be really upset if she finds out too so as much as I hate lying to her, her Mum has decided to tell her we were there but just had to leave early and she'll give us the DVD to watch before we see them next. Bummer hey!

Anyway must go and pack, we're still heading to Sydney today as it's my birthday tomorrow and my cousins are coming over to my parents' place for a BBQ. I'm just looking forward to getting to sleep in air cond tonight LOL

krikkit - i just remembered that i did get nasty pains in my right side, it was from my right ovary being stimulated with the IVF cycle. it hung around for ages (about 20 or so weeks). the ultrasound lady checked it out for me and it was ust so big from ivf and the baby pressing on it... not sure if that helps.

kyrawolfe - i can imagine how stressful it is for you too love. hang n there, it'll all work out. and i love what your little boy said! oooh, i can't wait for my little man lol. they just melt your heart hey!
