Anyone wanna be my buddy?

Hi all,
I apologise if this is in the wrong section but was hoping that someone might be my buddy. I had my ovidrel trigger injection today (am on first cycle of puregon after failed attempts on clomid) so I am expecting ovulation to happen within 24 hours so I plan to bd this weekend and will then be in the 2ww over Christmas. I have been instructed by my fs to do a hpt if I don't have AF by 15 days after trigger which would be the 3rd of Jan. I will also be having pregnyl next wed and then the following sunday to support the luteal phase. So if anyone is about to embark on the 2ww and wants a buddy, let me know!!

Hey, wow... the journey your about to embark on sounds full on. Im sorry im not overally ofae with all the assisted side of things.. BUT, we will be in our TWW over xmas/NY period so im more than happy to ride thaat ride with you :D

As for me I took the trigger yesterday morning so am hoping that ovulation has occured or will occur soon. I have been keeping DH busy and will continue to BD tonight and tomorrow and then the waiting game will begin!

Aries I agree with you about trying to pass the time but I am optimistic that this 2ww won't be so bad with Christmas and New Years to pass some of the time, hang in there! Any symptoms yet?
Missy MooMoo hope it starts going quickly for you, at least you ovulated earlier than normal so you are in the 2ww earlier than normal so that's a positive!!!

AFM today is 4dpo and I just gave myself my first pregnyl shot, what a disaster. First I *****ed my finger with the needle when trying to get the safety cap off (lol) and then I was trying to stay calm and take my time, not easy with a 2 year old banging at the bedroom door. Well I eventually did it and it really hurt- much worse than the puregon! Oh well one more injection to go on Sunday and then hopefully I will get my bfp and won't have to jab myself anymore!!!
I think that I will test on January 4th if AF has not arrived. That gives the pregnyl a week to get out of my system!

Cadence - No symptoms as yet......I feel quite normal actually!!! Not sure if thats a good sign or not. Good on you for giving yourself that needle - much braver than I!!! What we go through.......... LOL Good Luck to you & have an awesome Chrissy Day

I tested today being 11DPO & got a :bfn:
I have all the signs of pregnancy but unfortunately I think its more the signs of AF :wall:
I really hope that its just too early to tell & that maybe I will get the result I want later in the week. I had my fingers crossed this month - My Hubby & I have been TTC for over three years now - Im on clomid, monitored cycles & had a lap/hyster/D&C in October this year. It gets more & more disappointing each time.
BUT anyway sorry to rant.........

Sorry to hear about the BFN but I am sure that it is just too early! I know how you feel. We tried a long time to have our DD and I went through three rounds of clomid the first time we were ttc and have been through 3 rounds this time and have been on puregon injections this cycle. It is really hard to have to put your body and efforts into ttc and then to keep being disappointed! Please don't apologise for the rant, sometimes you just need to let it out and know that someone else understands what you are going through. I will be crossing my fingers for you and hoping that in the next few days your wish comes true! Take care :pray::pray:

Nothing's changed yet........ According to my cycle (O'ing on the 14th) I would be due for AF today :pray: it doesnt come!
My sore BBs have gone, no cramps like AF & I have the most clearest skin for pre-AF!!
So I am playing the waiting game - waiting, waiting, waiting.

How far are you off testing?

i tested and BFN, but im 6 days late for AF.

my doc thinks i may of ovulated later than i think or O'D twice this month, and hence he thinks im only 9 dpo so i can test again on monday and thursday next week

I am going okay. I am trying to figure out when to test. FS said I could test 15 days after trigger shot which would be this sat 3rd but I was hoping to hold out till the 5th so that I have allowed a week for the last pregnyl shot to leave my system. Am trying to stay positive but have had some niggling back and tummy pains today and feels like AF is on her way.

I have decided not to test .......... for now anyway. Im boycotting those stupid things!!! I figure AF is due today so if I dont get her by say Sunday (maybe Saturday!!) I will do a test. Havent got any indicators yet so we will see. Is it considered normal to not feel anything & maybe still be pregnant??

Good on you for being so strong and waiting to test! I always think it is easier to have AF arrive than to see a bfn so it is prob best!
When I was pregnant with DD I didn't have any symptoms at all and only got a faint BFP. Went to the doc and she did a hpt it came back faint as well so did blood test. I didn't actually believe that I was pregnant until I went and had my dating scan around 7 weeks I think, then we I saw it with my own eyes on the ultrasound I finally believed it, so yes you can get a bfp and not have symptoms!

Okay starting to get ALOT of creamy CM now........... hopefully a good sign :pray:

I am stressing! Going nuts in this 2ww, I hope to test on Sat or better yet sun or mon if I can hold out. These last few days are dragging and every twinge and cramp feels like AF is just around the corner! Just really want some positive news soon!

my turn for a vent

1. i am so so so moody/emotional.... snapping at df and kids... argh

2. now im freaking about baby #3... like we have been talking about it for ages.. and now we ar ehere, now we have possibly DONE IT.. i am SH-ITT-ING myself!!!! I wanted this so bad, heck i want 4 but i am just so scared now.. lol..

I guess im scared as i have all the very strong signs of being UTD... so even though i havent had a BFP.. all the signs are pointing that way and i guess being how emotional and moody i am, it is making it harder and making me freak out ahhhhhhh

I am testing tomorrow morning - not confident although I still dont have any AF signs............
I will be 17DPO do you think that will be enough time to know for sure? AF will be 4 days late by tomorrow. I feel like this month has to be it but I am also prepared (as much as you can be) for a BFN.

Do a test!!! You have done so well to wait that long! I can feel another BFP in the air!!

I'm 10dpo and if AF doesn't show up by Sunday, I'll test. I'm tempted to test today but I'm scared of seeing a BFN too! I had spotting and cramps on 7dpo and I had a tiny bit of spotting this morning and have a few niggling pains now. I sure hope it's not AF but it does feel a lot like her. It's so frustrating!!

I think that I might do a test in the morning.
I will be 14dpo tomorrow and will have given my pregnyl shot 5 days to get out of my system (from what I have read being that my dose was only 1500 it should be gone in 4 days).
I am praying that I get my BFP this month but am anxious. I know that if I get a BFP I will keep testing for a few days to make sure that it isn't the pregnyl and it I get a negative I will test again a few days later if no AF!
I was going to wait until sun or mon but am so anxious!!!
How are you MissyMooMoo did you test again yet?

Hi,
Just an update, went to the loo and when I wiped there was brown stained mucous. My cramps have also become more intense and I am almost certain that AF is on the way :(
I am very disappointed and am now questioning where to from here. Was planning to take a month off and give my body a rest but I am so desperate for my BFP that I don't want to waste another month when I could be actively doing something.
Anyway enough about me I will be waiting eagerly to see the rest of you get your BFP's I sincerely hope that you all get the results that you desire so that you don't have to go through the agonising 2ww again!
