Wow first again!!
I had a lovely breakfast out and the 2 younger kids had fun with my dad, this morning. We are just pottering around at home at the moment, I made a cake for Jess to take to a soccer BBQ tonight and I have to pick her up from work at 4pm but thats it so its quite relaxing. DH has gone away for a bike rally which he was really excited about, he will be back late tomorrow.
Riley has discovered the beaters from the mixer when I make a cake so now he and Erin have one each! Its so cute.
Leanne- I have been thinking about you a lot, its so hard when you HAVE to work. I remember when I was full time when Jess was a baby it felt like everyone else with a baby didn't work and every mother/baby activity was designed for SAHM so not only did you have to miss out on spending time with your baby you couldn't even do things with them when you were home. I also used to get pooey about women who looked down on you cause you worked ft and didn't stay home when they had no idea about what it was like to have to work just to live. There is often the impression that working mothers just choose to for something to do or to buy luxuries whereas for many of us its not that we are prioritising differently its just if we want our families to eat we must work. Sorry off my soap box but its one of my pet peeves. I don't know what you can do since you need to work, maybe a job closer to home? I have no really good advice just big hugs and to let you know I understand how you feel.

Thanks Christine, and good to hear you had a nice brekky this morning.
DH and I had a big talk about it all this morning, and I feel a lot better today. Last night was a shocker. I had thoughts going through my head that really scared me.
Weighed myself too. Week one lost nothing, nil, nada. Have counted the points so religiously I was expecting SOMETHING, but..... will soldier on.

At least you haven't put on any weight either Leanne. I am going to weigh myself on Monday morning, not too confident after the guylians yesterday LOL.
-
Evening all Ryan is already in bed woohoo and i'm not going to be to far behind him had a big day today

Just saying hello, too tired to post, will be back tomorrow to post personals.

Hi girls!!
Been MIA a bit in here lately. I have been so busy this week that i have'nt had time to jump on the computer. I have been in and out of town all week shopping and stuff.
Things are going pretty well with us. Briley, Colby and I are all still trying to get over our colds. Briley has been stuggling with hers on and off for about a month now. I have had mine for about 3 weeks. We just can't seem to get rid of it. And poor Colby has a snotty nose and a really bad cough which i can't do nothing about. I feel helpless. Looks as though Colby might have the same tear ducked problem as Briley too. And in the same eye coinsedently(sp??).
Briley is going through a few changes at the moment. Not sure wether its too do with teeth, the cold or her age, but she is going through a separation anxiety phase. Esp with Brent. She bawls if she see's him leave the house or go behind a closed door. Is anyone else going through this???
She is also starting to sleep very well at night. Sleeps completely through some nights. The nights that she does wake up Brent gets up to her anyways which is good for me. I usually have just gone back to sleep from feeding Colby when Briley wakes up.
Colby is going well too. We went for our 5-10 day check-up last monday and she had put on 200 grams. So the breast feeding must be going well. She is a wonderful content baby and she barely cries. She loves bath times and just lays there floating in the water relaxing. I am doing up an email of some pics of all of us as i write this to send around.
She is also sleeping wonderfully. The last few days she has woken up twice a night for a feed but i think this is cause she is coming into her 2 week growth spurt. Most other nights she sleeps from 9-10pm through till about 6am. A god send for me!!
Well i can hear Colby waking up for a feed so i better get going. So sorry for the lack of personals. I did kinda skim through the last thread but i had missed so much that there was sh*t loads to read. Sorry again. I will try and pop in a bit more now. Brent has to take my car to work all this week as his is going in to be repaired so i won't be going anywhere. Which means i might be in a bit more this week!
I hope you are all well! You will all get that email shortly! Hope you enjoy the piccies!!
Take Care!

leanne - huge hugs to you. i am really sorry you are finding life tough atm. I can't imagine how hard it must be to try and juggle baby, work, husband and social life, i think working mothers are incredibly strong women. We could really do with the extra income now but i just can't bring myself to put Arch into childcare, plus i can't imagine being able to cope with work and motherhood, it scares me! Im glad you talked to DH about it adn got it off your chest, it always feel much better once we share our worries. I think if you really feel like your family needs another bub to feel complete then you should have one, you will cope financially, it'll be bloody tough but you'll find a way to get through for a couple of years. I don't have any 'friends' left, thanks goodness for belly belly. Oh, bummer about the weight sticking around too, good on you for keeping on going though.
sheree- hope lachlan ended up sleeping through for you after all that! Sorry to hear about your friends pregnancy, yeah it sure does make you thankful for what you have got.
We ended up having a great weekend, it was one of those weekends thats not planned and ends up being really good fun. We stayed up til 3:30 in the morning having deepa nd meaningfuls with a couple that we have been friends with for about 7 years, they have realy been through some hard years with their teenage son, i think it was great for them to talk about it and has certainly cemented our friendship. The wife of the couple has been going to Bali every year for the last 2 years and her husband is going to go with her for the first time in April/May, we have decided to go with them, i am sooo excited it will be my first overseas holiday, and i reckon it will be the first of many, i have raly had the travel bug lately.
Archie only had a very mild case of hand foot and mouth, had a few little blisters and was a bit more sooky, sleepy and sensitive than normal, he is just about over it now though.

Oh Sara don't worry about personals, I am more then sure you have your hands full atm. Oh and lachlan is like that with his father too. Once he is gone and out of mind its all good but if he sees him leave the room and god help the house, he carries on. He even is not real good with me when daddy is around. Just wants dad. He cries and screams at me at times if daddy is in the room. But then as soon as daddy is not around it is all good, he is my friend again.
I know I said I would do personals, but I have been so tired lately, slept 2 hours this arve, slept from 10pm to 9.30am this morning, had a 2 hour sleep yesterday arve too!!!! Gawd I must need it.
-
Oh Sara they're beautiful!!! Gee you look well too.
Sheree, wow you forget how tired that tiny extra person makes you, don't you?
What a lovley weekend Christine!

Well I promised I would post personals, so here they are:
Elissa - how exciting going overseas, when will that be?
Leanne - Gee what Christine said is so so right isn't it. Hope you are feeling better about it all now. I guess we all have our up and down days. Mwah.
Sara - good to see you and your family are settling down into things. I reackon if Lachlan had a baby brother or sister right now, he would kick and punch it. Has no idea and is so independant. I reackon girlies are different thou, so good for you guys.
-
sheree - i remember that tirdness in the first tri, halfway through the first tri already, gosh! They are planning on going in April/may next year, will hopefully go in April before Archie turns 2 so we only haveto pay 10% of the flight, after 2 years old we have to pay 75%!
shazz - i'd imagine it would be an interesting job with a little helper!
I had such a bad day yesterday, wish AF would come, i am so hormonal, snapping at Archie and DH and feling like i don't want another baby cause its too hard, oh i was very woe is me! Feeling better today thank goodness! Slept in til 9 thismornig, i think the good sleep helped. Archie can sing Happy Birthday! "Ha birday oooo oooo, pipi aay," very cute.
