I'm over it.....
I am just so over being pregnant I am sick of my body aching all day I am sick of the whole thing and most of all I am sick of ppl saying how long to go and I tell them and they say either ohh that long or thats no far away now is it. I am sick of ppl asking me how I am feeling isn't it obvious I am heavily pregnant and I just want my baby out.
I want to see his little face, I want to feel his little finger wrapped around mine, I want to hold him soo bad
And it is still like 5 weeks away until this is going to happen, how do you cope with the last month of pregnancy, it really is inhumaine!
-
Bec - You have all the same feelings I had when I hit 35 weeks, those extra 5 weeks felt like they were more like 5 years away when I was 35 weeks pregnant but hun they do come by and once your little boy is here the time certainly flies all too quickly.
Hugs to you.
-
I get the same Bec - some people say wow a whole month to go.. other's think it's not long at all!
I haven't got the same discomforts as you with my pregnancy.. but I am BUSTING to meet our little man. I guess I'm fortunate that I'm a terrible procrastinator.. coz that means I still have things I can get ready for bubs! You won't find me sitting about a very organised house just waiting for bubs. hehe. There'll always be his room to tidy up or things to wash, I've still got to find a home for the cloth nappies and get that organised.
I have to say the last 6 weeks FLEW by because of antenatal classes... I kinda wish they were still going so that the time would keep flying. We have a breastfeeding class on the 12th, and my dr visits are weekly now, so I'm hoping that'll make time seem faster.
Have you got any hobbies or a project you can do for baby?
-
Hey Ivana I know what you mean the last 6 weeks flew for me to because of classes, but now no I don't really have anything to focus on bubs room is ready for his arrival I have done everything bar pack my bag which I can't really do anyway!
Just got the usual house work to do which I normally do Sat mornings and now since my accident some of which Im not supposed to be doing anyway grr!
-
me too!!!! my ribs are killing me - any time i bend over to pick up some of Yasin's mess they're twice as bad. There's no room in my stomach for food. I keep craving orange juice which gives me heartburn and the list goes on................ I can't wait to meet my bubba.
If men had to do it we would all have one baby families.
-
Me toooooo
This is really starting to suck. Everything hurts, each day feels more like a week. I cant wait to be pushing this baby out.
Everything is done- calsses finished, everything is ready for bubs and all i have to focus on is bloody BH that never go anywhere- im trying to will them to turn into the real deal... hmmm no such luck. [-o< for :contract:
Hmmm i never thought i would be happy to have all the issues i have that they say will make me go early.... I shouldnt complain as i know it will all be over by 38 weeks at most.
-
Em, even though all these BH and pre-labour pains you're having are a total PITA they're getting everything all warmed up for D-day. I bet that when the time finally comes you'll have a great labour.
-
-
Oh poor bec, gosh I will be there soon, and I am aching all ready, could be a long third trimester LOL
-
oh sheerjoy you poor thing on having all the pains already mine have really hit me hard these last 2ish weeks and my little fall just made everything so much more uncomfortable it was only a minor thing but i guess it is all it takes when your preggers to make everything 10 times worse. I am about off to bed I have to try and tire myself completly out or else I can't fall asleep such a pain. How many times will I wake tonight to wee or to BH ahh hopefully I wont have to wishful thinking it has been 3 times a night at least lately and I can never fall back to sleep for ages after grr can't wait till I can lay on my tummy and or back it will be bliss!
-
I know exactly how you feel the BHs are becoming rediculous, i have too pee every 5 mins, my ribs hurt like hell as does my pelvis and i just cant bloody well sleep!!
I however spent all sunday afternoon and monday in hospital thanks to some spotting and regular bad cramps (10 minutes apart). After a few tests they let me go home on monday night declaring that no i wasnt in pre term labour. Then came tuesday morning... Got up to pee as per usual at 5:30am and there just so happens to be a very steep flight of 4 stairs between the kitchen and the hallway to the loo.... I fell down them....... my elbows caught most of my weight but i still landed firmly enough on my butt to have a nice bruise. no bleeding or cramping followed so i guess everything is ok plus bubby is kicking like all hell as normal.
I feel like as big as a whale and very heavy, i waddle like a duck! Im fed up i've had enough and i want my baby in my arms damn it! lol
Have a great day
Mel :D
-
Aww  to you Becky. I totally know how you feel too. I had enough weeks ago too and now this last 10 days feels like its dragging. (sorry probably not something you want to hear 8-[ ) I really hope the next 4+ weeks flys for you.
Mel I hear ya feeling like a whale and waddling like a duck. Rob forever teases me that I am waddling like a duck.
-
Hey Bec, we are due on the same day I remember (from the April thread). It's great to be into the home stretch isn't it?
I'm getting excited now about seeing his face too. I've just gone on mat leave so am looking forward to a bit of rest now before he arrives. I hear you on the sleeping problems ... I'm hoping now it won't matter so much now that I don't have to go into work and appear intelligent every day!
Can't wait to see if we both actually have our little ones on the day they are due. Hang in there ...
Love,
Mel
-
Hey all thanks for the hugs things are starting to happen for me I have had my show a weeks ago now and as of last night have ha da few stronger BH as much as I want him out I want him in so he is nice and healthy and strong! Don't ya hate that one minute Im like get out of me and the next Im like you have to stay in till at least 37 weeks not that that is far away now!
Kaz how exciting you don't have long at all and your little Declan is born! and hopefully not too much longer after that my little Declan will be born!
-
hurry up bubba - your mother has just about had enough of the sore ribs and having little feet practicing martial arts on her bladder.....
-
Becky, wow you are nearly already 37 weeks. Are you still feeling over it?? I hope both our Declan's decide to arrive soon. :crossfingers:
-
Thanks Dach you tell him!!
Kazz I guess I shouldn't complain you must be more over it! But yes I am still totally over it would be cute if both Declans arrived the same day hows about tomorrow!?
-
Bec, tomorrow sounds good to me ;) and yes I am totally over it.
-
Morning Kazz I haven't even had any inclings so I guess its up to your Declan to enter to world today!
-
Hi Bec, no inclings/cramps etc... for me either, so looks like both Declans are still happy inside of us. ;) Hopefully the weekend our little men will enter the world. :crossfingers:
-
heres hoping Im thinking Sunday evening would suit me means I would have plenty of recovering time before any visitors as visiting hours are 2pm til 9pm!
I was given a reading the other day saying bubs would arrive on the 28th I don't think you should hold onto your Declan for that long hehehehehe
-
Sunday sounds like a good day to have him. :)
My OB told me today that he doesn't think I will go past Monday but if by some chance I do I have to have some tests done to check if he is ok in there.
Hmmm... I think the 28th is a bit long for me to wait. ;) LOL
-
Something tells me I wont make it that far either surely all these pains can't last for another 2 1/2 weeks SURELY!
-
I bet you won't make it that far either, esp. with those pains you are getting.
-
Hi guys! Im hearing you on the pain!! Just cant understand how Im soo uncomfortable with this Bub? I never remember going through this much agony leading up to Japsers birth?
Im seriously considering gettin a catheter put in for night time use, such an effort to get in and out of bed not to mention getting back to sleep only to get up again an hour later!! :fuming:
Kazz- Im really hoping you go naturally before Monday, but either way soon you'll have Declan in your arms!!(not fair)!! LOL
Becky- I really hope all those pains your having make for a nice easy labour!? wish we just had a button somewhere that says push to eject! LOL
-
Thanks Anna. :) I must admit I don't remember being this uncomfortable etc with Nicholas either.
LOL @ a button to push for bubs to exit.,,, actually that would be nice. press it and bubs comes out. ;)
-
Oh Anna I so agree there really was a design flaw with a womens body I often think we should have zippers or something (you know that McDonalds add where the kid comes out of the guy through a door that would be super) But in away I don't care if I go full term I want him out more so, so that I can physically see that he is alright mind you the pain gone and constant toilet going gone would be one hell of a huge blessing.
Declan has definatly an established routine wakes at 11:30pm - 3:30am - 7:30 am not real sure during the actual day though so I hope he sticks to that because that I think I will be able to cope with well! I only tend to wake to wee when he is wriggling around and as stupid as this sounds if I drink lots of water before bed I find it better than trying not to because at least when I do wake to go I can completly empty my bladder and its all gone. But as soon as I do that I get period pain/BH's you just can't win!
-
Becky-LOL at the mcdonalds add!! so so true wouldnt that be great!!!
sounds like Declan does have a rountine! a good one too, hope it sticks!! I too drink heaps of water at night?? think i have the same reasoning as you! LOL. I wake up because i start to ache from a full bladder, then once im up bub decides it wants to play hokey pokey inside!!
I cant wait to meet my little one I dont even know what sex it is?? its really startin to bug me! wish i found out!!
would be great if you and Kazz had your Declans on the same day!!!
-
Morning Anna - Kazz you about or did Declan decide to arrive last night?
Anna I had to fiind out I couldn't handle not knowing Im not one for suprises and at my 20 weeks scan Declan was asleep the little bugger and laying in a possi the sonographer couldn't see his bits fortunatly she couldn't see a few other things either and I got a 24 week scan and thats when I found out was kinda cute caus DH couldn't come to the 20 week scan had a work meeting he couldn't get out of (he was fuming) so I think little Declan just wanted Daddy to be there to find out at the same time as me!
I had a feeling that bubs was a boy when you take into consideration family history on DH's side especially!
-
Becky, yes I am still around. I love the idea of the Mc Donalds ad, that would be a good way for bubs to come out. ;)
-
Hey Kazz just found out bubs is breech so it looks like a C/S for me next week will be confirmed tomorrow
-
Becky- Wow!! what a shock!? Are you scared? Happy? Is there anything you can try and do to get Declan to turn? Thinking of you!
Kazz- Im doin Ok, sick of Jaspers little tantys though! Went to go get his haircut today and he screamed the place down, held his hair so it couldnt be cut, wet his pants while sitting on my lap and refused to be dressed again once we got his wet clothes off? No signs of Bub coming soon, cant wait for these next few weeks to tick over!!
-
Nah AMH they midwifes said it is to late to risk it as Im already showing pre labour signs he could come any day really so they need to get him out or it will turn into an emergency C/S which would be worse for both me and DJ
-
oh bugger!? at least this way you have time to prepare for it all?
Kazz was havin a some test done today to see how her Declan is, wasnt going to be home till late, But then maybe they didnt let her out of the hosp?? Hope you both get to meet your Delcans very soon!! ;)
-
Anna, I am sorry but I had to laugh when you said about Jasper getting his haircut. Nicholas is the same but luckily I can do his @ home. I must must admit I hated cutting screaming kids hair when I was working @ the salon. 8-[ I wanted to kill the parents for bringing them in. No offence to you or Jasper though. 8-[
Becky, wow you are having a c/s. You will definitley be holding your Declan in your arms before mine even decides he wants to come out.
-
Hey guys great news :happy4u: Declan isn't breech I don't have to have a c-section I just got back from seeing the ob and Declan is like the total opposite to being breech he is very very much engaged head down woooohoooo! doc said he is a biggin too and he was practicing his breathing on the screen so he is all ready to come doc say in day really now and he thinks maybe 10 days at the most but if for some reason he decides to get stubborn doc said I have to go back to see him on my due date and Ill be induced because he will be too big otherwise so WOOOOHOOO Im very happy ! You still might beat me Kazz
-
Becky- Thats great news about Declan not being breech!! How did they get that wrong though?? Good to see he has engaged too!! Heres hoping hes not too big and arrives in the next 10days as your OB said!!! Best of Luck when it all begins!! Thinking of you!! ;)
Kazz- I must admit when I look back on yesterday i can see the funny side. :smt016 Im just lucky it was one of my longtime friends that cut his hair so she was completly understanding of him, which is more than i can say for myself at the time! :fuming: Hope your still on good spirits, Am thinking of you everyday, Really hope your pg will end soon, for your sake!! Take Care!! And Best of Luck for when it all begins!! ;)
-
Anna the midwifes were only using palapatation (sp?) to see where Declan was lying and because he was so far down they couldn't feel his head and I guess presumed he was breech! But yesterday with the ob he did a mini scan and could see my little man head all the way down there! YEY! damn I wish he would come today it is raining and thundering just the sort of weather I would like it to be!
-
Bec, I am so glad Declan isn't breech. :D What a good boy that he is engaged for you. I bet you will have him very soon matey. Woohoo.
-
I hope so kazz glad to see you have an end date now (24th) I hope your Declan decides to be a good lad and come on his own though
