Just a reminder to all: all LTers love seeing a fellow LTer achieve that longed-for BFP, and we all find hope in one of our own having success in this difficult journey. But please remember that there are those who cycled with you who may not have received good news at the end of their cycle. Please do not post baby/child/pg tickers or pg related signatures (eg blinking BFP icons) etc in this forum out of respect for them.
As it's easy to forget to remove your ticker, please be advised that we will remove it for you if it's posted in here.

Update from me after EPU today
Hi Girls,
Well had EPU today, all went well. Was a bit anxious going in as being the first go and it has been a long time since I have had a general before. I must say everyone at MIVF at Freemasons Hospital were lovely.
The all important update - we got 5 eggs. Thought that was a little low so am a bit disappointed. However as they say, you can collect just 1 and it can work or you can collect 25 and have no success so I should not feel down about it. Also, as all my 3 US's we saw 8 follicles I guess I thought we may get more.
Have not spoken to my FS yet. We are having ICSI so that would have been done late today, so I will get the call tomorrow arvo to hear the fertilisation results. Fingers crossed :crossfingers: we get at least 3. 1 to put back in and at least a buffer of 2 in case it does not work. Don't want to have to rush to go through this whole exp again. Not that it was terrible but of course its something I'd rather avoid!
Feeling pretty good. Bit tender and feels a bit like period pain I guess. Hurts when I cough and put pressure on the abdomin (how do you spell that!?!)
ET is booked for Friday - will find out what time tomorrow arvo too! So that's all my goss.
I have not been online for a few days and it is so hard to keep up. I have tried to update myself by a quick skim through.
Tracy - good call getting into the clinic early. Sounds like you are busy enough so its good they have been able to move your appintment to a time that suits you better. Good luck with it.
Loops - thanks for the luck - hopefully even tho it was only 5 eggs, hopefully they are good and strong!
mitf - it must be hard having to take the month off after going through so much. But it will be a gd break for your body for sure and as you say good time to catch up on things. I tell you what (not that I am an alcoholic) but I would love to have a month off for a drink! I have not had a drink since I started injections, my little theory of trying to do good by my body! And of course now if I get my :bfp: I won't be drinking for a while! But that of course is a gd thing and of course if it only took giving up drinking for a while we would all be so happy!
wishes - sounds like you are going along nicely. Hope your follies keep growing away and not giving you too much bloated pain. Mind you at least you feel like something is happening! That' what I figured anyhow!
Motherhood - I think it is better to go safe and slow so it is good that they are monitoring you and that you up your dose when you need. I was a bit liek that too & tho annoying cos it takes longer, its probably better and I dunno - maybe grows better stronger follies?
Anyhow ladies - back to bed for me! Apologies to those I have missed and I hope you are all well. to all
