Serenity is being really unsettled how is it they know when you sit down even if your still rocking them the same

Nurse said she's doing great head control wise since she rarely has tummy time due to her reflux cos she always end up with her face covered in puke lmao

I can't remember what everyone said now but whoever said their bub has discovered their hands so has Amelia, she has them in her mouth constantly - drooling everywhere lol and sometimes she shoves them so far in her mouth she gags! Also she's started trying to blow raspberries, it's just the cutest thing ever and today I got my first giggle, melted my heart to say the least! I'm hanging out for her to do it again now!

I went to the mums and bubs movies today with my aqua friends and saw Valentine's Day, gosh it was great, only about 20 people in the cinema and Amelia just fed and slept, no dramas. Highly recommend it girls and it was only $8.00 too! The movie itself was great too, lovely chick flick.

Hi Shayna, that sux re chocolate, I couldn't handle not being able to eat chocolate, although my fat guts needs to not eat it!

No its not my birthday - its DH's. Ubba is our 'pet' name for each other, but thanks anyway. My birthday isnt until September but dont worry I will remind you for about 2 weeks before hand lol.

My poor baby girl has a snotty nose and is finding it hard to breathe. I put some vicks on her nighty and she was able to breathe heaps better.

I really need to do some of my course but I have an attack of the lazy's.......

Hi Kymmy - waiting to hear the announcement........keep us posted if anything changes. It was nice going to the movies, I like seeing easy to watch romantic chick flicks where you don't have to think cause let's face it, it's not that easy to think these days ha ha. I loved Valentine's Day and had a great time and recommend it whether you're a movie buff or not. It's nice to get out and do a normal thing. lol

Ubba - I admire you for doing that course that you are doing....that's very dedicated...I'm so slack, I have no motivation to do anything like that and I really should use this time wisely but I'm just too lazy and I dont really know what I'm interested in...that's terrible isnt it? I cant believe that I dont really have any ambition or strong interests anymore...

Heavenly - Go Serenity!! She's going great guns and what a cutie pie!

AFM - Holy crap - as I write this Abbey has been asleep for nearly 12.5 hours!!!! Unbelievable!! I have been checking on her every couple of hours to make sure she's still breathing and I kept thinking she'll wake up so I didnt have too great a sleep but still.....it's OK for her to go that long isnt it??

JD also stayed in his own bed all night as well....kiddie free night for us - first one in about 2 years I reckon!! God it would be nice if it stayed that way!!

Going to go for our weigh in this morning at the clinic....I'm sure the nurses see me coming and go 'here she is again......9am, first through the door....'. Havent been for a fortnight so will be interesting to see how much she has put on....hopefully a couple of hundred grams this time....

I have hired a pump out so I can have a drink on the w/end at my friends 30th....you dont think she will reject my boob if she has had a bottle for about 24 hours will you?? I dont think I'll drink that much...I was thinking yesterday how easy it is just to flop the boob out when she gets up in the mornings and not having to do a bottle up etc so I dont want to stop BF just yet....

Shayna- Go Abs!! 12.5 hours is so good! I think it is fine for her to sleep that long - she obviously needs it and great that JD stayed in his bed too. Dont feel bad about not wanting to do any study etc - Maybe your strong interests and ambitions are raising your kids?? You could say you have a Masters Degree in Child Rearing lol! Have fun on the weekend, I dont think Abbey will reject the boob. Just remember though, its all well and good to have a few drinks but you still have to look after the kids the next day.... haha. Oooh, that reminds me, when DS was still on the boob we went to an engagement party so I did the 'pump and dump'. I was drinking Midori all night (mmmm, 9am and I have the taste for midori....) and my expressed milk came out green. Seriously, this is no lie.

Alison- I havnt been to the movies in such a long time, and when I do go its usually to see the latest Disney Pixar movie with the kids lol! The last time I went to see an adut movie was when DH and I saw Transformers #2 at gold class....

Mon- Thanks for the advice on Fess nose spray, I might give that a go. I really miss my pregnant belly and would love to have another bub but not for a few years, Im finding it hard to cope with the sleepless nights and I REALLY want to get my studies done. In 5 years I want to have the title Registered Nurse/Midwife after my name!

Kym- The offer is still there if you want me to send you a digital test! I dont think you understand the suspense we are all in...

AFM- Ruby is struggling with her breathing and her blocked nose- poor liitle thing. She had a very unsettled night and just wanted to feed but couldnt becasue of her nose. She is trying to have a sleep now but is still having troubles.
DD1 is having the day off today. She is so tired she wont be any good at school so she may as well catch up on her rest- although she can clean her room up!
DS has kinder again today, he goes Monday & Tuesday morning and Wednesday & Thursday arvo. The 4 days really makes hime tired and cranky but he enjoys his time there. Oh such a busy life :dance:

Oh yeah, I went to netball training on Thursday night - my god I am unfit. Anyway I aggrivated my SPD again so I went to the physio yesterday and said Im not to do any hard exercise for at leas 2 months which sucks cause I really wanted to get back into netball. O well.
Im definately going to do some study today, even if its just reading

Hi Shayna - well guess what, I had a crap night!!!!! The first in a long time and when you're used to 10 hours straight it's a killer really. Makes me realise even more how lovely the sleep throughs are. :o Not sure if it was something I ate yesterday - I did have cabbage, a growth spurt or the full moon but Amelia woke up at 2.30 am, I popped the dummy back in her mouth as her eyes were still closed but she kept waking up, I tried this a few times for an hour and then put her in our bed which I haven't done in ages, she didn't really sleep properly though, every time the dummy came out she woke up. So at 5.30 am I gave up and got up, she's had a bottle and is now in her rocker blowing friggin raspberries!!!! :o I feel shattered, funny how we get used to sleep again so quickly. Oh well, hopefully that was a one off for this week. I'm really glad you had such a great night with Abbey though and 12.5 hours is fine, Amelia's done that before. Her average is 9 hours but I get 10-12 every few days or so. Fingers crossed you get another like that tonight!

Well, it's going to be 41 here in Perth, it's 6.00 am and already warm out there. DH has taken the day off to go on the boat fishing with his dad, idiot! He said it's cooler out on the water but I was trying to explain that yes but the sun is still blaring the same. As he walked out the door I heard, I'm not 12. Anyway, we'll see how he goes....I think the'yre idiots personally and besides, as I said to him last night, it would be nice if you could have a day off to spend with us. Bloody men honestly! lol

Hi All!

Archie still wakes 3-4 times a night!! It's ok though, i just turn on my side and give him the boob and we go straight back to sleep! In saying that, i am extremely tired this morning! I didn't have a very good sleep and it wasn't even to do with Archie!

Alison: It's gonna be foul here today! I have to go for my waxing appointment soon which is about 30 mins drive away and i am dreading it! Better than being hairy though! haha!

Ubba: Thanks lovey!! I realise you must be in suspense but i think what i REALLY need is to go and have a blood test... i seriously think i have some hcg lurking from the birth, especially if i was retaining some placenta (which i am not even sure about!)... But i can't be bothered going to the Dr just for a blood test!! I took a photo of the last test i did but i took it on my phone and i can't seem to load them on to my computer for some reason! Maybe i could send you the pic to see what you reckon!? Yeah hurry up and become a midwife, then you can pop over here and deliver all of my future babies! haha! My physio also told me i wasn't allowed to go running until Archie is about 5 months old (no complaints here!haha). Happy Birthday Mr Ubba!!

Hi Ladies!

Well havent you all been busy! I cant believe we get another thread so quickly..Its just hard to remember what everyone wrote though...

One thing that sticks in my mind is the lovely Kymmy declaring her love for me haha well if anyone as cool as you can love me Im thrilled lol, You know my dad makes AWFUL jokes and I sometimes look at myself and go "that will be me in a few years" so will have to try not to embarrass my kids with my jokes..:rolleyes: My dh is really serious and doesnt get me sometimes so everyone tells him how funny I am but he just thinks Im a nutcase lol opposites attract I guess..I must need him to stabilise the silliness...;)

Kymmy I cant wait for you to find out for sure! Puhllleeeease go get a blood test! I would have been there the first day I cant wait for anything OR keep that kind of thing a secret lol you are doing well!

HOOORAYYY!!! To Abbey!!!! Woop woop for Shayna!!!! Im so pleased for you Shayna, hopefully she will keep it up for you and also JD so you can get used to a proper sleep once in a while hehe....I must admit I have been loving the extra cuddles when I have taken V back to bed but I dont sleep very well with her in with us because I usually dont sleep on my side unless she is with us (boob access lol) so it feels a bit off..

Alison I hope your air con is working for you today, 41..ewwww. Its really nice here today which is a nice change from it being so hot.

Hi Girls - I'm stuffed, been out shopping with a friend who lives the other side of the city to me, long day!

Also just to whinge, I met a friend for lunch Monday as she's moving o/s tomorrow and she's just mentioned to me that she's spent the last 2 days in bed with a stomach bug so I hope to god she hasn't given it to me or Amelia, she was even holding Amelia at one stage and we hugged goodbye. I'm so angry as it turns out she got it from her sister who had it on the weekend. I'm hoping I have avoided it, wonder how long it takes to catch, hopefully I would've got it by now. Fingers crossed. People like that annoy me, you'd think she would've told me before I met her given I have a baby and all. grrrrrr. Some people are inconsiderate!

It's so bloomin hot here today it's just disgusting and hot for the rest of the weekend! How is everyone else today?

:hello: We went to my parents for the weekend & I've been catching up on my work - I've got to pay all the creditors by Tuesday so I've not had much internet time.

Mr I put himself to sleep tonight! DH was at a meeting so I had to cook & eat dinner with two whingy boys in the kitchen. Mr I was OK in the bassinette playing with his hands until I was halfway thru frying the vegie pancakes, then ramped up the winging so I had to hold him and cook at the same time. I'm eating my dinner and he is getting more & more upset until I put him back in the bassinette where he put his thumb in his mouth & went to sleep. I've been conditioned by the Duke to cuddle to sleep (I had to lie down with him tonight as DH who usually does it wasn't here) so the idea of not holding him when he's cranky is a bit foreign to me. I's put himself to sleep before (mostly when he's having nappy free time :dunno:), I just have to keep myself from picking him up I guess.

He rolled from front to back on the weekend, but seems to have forgotten yesterday & today, he's just getting frustrated when he's on his front again.

He gives the best smiles when we talk to him - I got some weird looks in the supermarket today 'cause I repeated what the chick over the loud speaker said about their specials as I was finding it a bit hard to keep talking.

Hi Mon - yay Serenity that's really fantastic! Amelia slept better last night, 10.00 pm to 6.00 am and then fed and went back down till 9.00 am. I'm really upset about Mikayla though are you? My goodness why does that keep happening to her. I wish there was something we could do, makes me so grateful to have my little girl and who cares if they don't sleep much, at least we have them! I hope she's ok, I don't know if I could keep going after so many goes but I hope she does.

Yeah it is very upsetting I wish there was something someone could do, I deff feel very blessed for all my babies...

Me and j have been fighting lately and I'm getting to the point of wondering if the kids would be better off if he moved out so they don't have to witness it along with them suffering and him not helping them to get back at me..I told him about Mikayla and he said you think she would take a hint... I almost pinched him in the face....I hope her Dr's figure it out soon!!!!! It makes me so sad and she's such a wonderful person who doesn't deserve this

Hi Girls - I think I'm getting my first big zit since before being pregnant.....I was hoping the hormones while pregnant would have sorted out my skin, darn it!!!!! Fingers crossed it's just a standard blinder ha ha. I really enjoyed not having to hide my chin from the public :o Oh well, maybe it will take the emphasis off my fat guts ha ha. Geez I'm painting a stunning picture of myself aren't I lol.

Hi Mon - I would've punched him in the face for saying that, how awful. I feel terrible for Mikayla, it's so unfair and yet there's some women/girls out there having kids who don't deserve them and can't even look after them, that p's me off so much. I wish we could help her I really do. Mon, you'd do fine without Jose in the house, you are an amazing mum and more than capable of looking after the kids on your own, you know that. xx

Ruby had a massive sleep today, 3 hours! I hope she sleeps tonight :pray: I doubt she will though, her stuffy nose is sounding alot more snotty and she is sneezing heaps and coughing now too- poor little girl.

Our kiddies are growing up so fast, its very exciting isnt it? Every day Ruby does something new, she constantly has her tongue sticking out and blows bubbles, oh and the conversations she holds - so cute I could just squeeze her!

Ruby is so adorable. Is she sucking on everything like Amelia? Everything is going into Amelia's mouth and she's dribbling so much her clothes get soaked ha ha. I love the bubbles, how cute is it, Amelia makes a sound when she tries to do raspberries as well, it's hilarious! They are growing way too fast but gee I love this age. :p Oh and thanks again for making me aware of Mikayla, I hadn't checked her FB in the last week for updates. It's just so unfair. :crying:

Yeah Ruby is sucking on everything! She pulls her top up to suck on it - she hasn't quite found her toes yet! I think it is cute seeing babies sucking on their toes lol. Hope it doesnt start off a fetish :o I dont bother putting a bib on Ruby, I figure there's no point washing her clothes and a bib...

Oh how funny Amelia does the same, was just telling my mum that she has stretched yet another singlet today because she pulls it up to put in her mouth! She hasn't found her feet yet either, that will be funny though. Isn't it amazing how they do certain things at certain ages, it's kinda freaky. Nature is a funny thing.:p

Everyone here is great. Theo is just growing growing growing! Hes getting very chubby, got two little rolls on his legs, hehe, they're just too cute! Its very sweet seeing how much he loves kaili, his eyes follow her around everywhere. If she's in eye sight, he's a happy baby ;)

Well the trip to clermont for the funeral was surprisingly great! Asides from Kaili getting car sick and chundering everywhere :o haha. But we made it there and back with only one 10 minute stop! Theo slept the entire way! :) And thank you natty for your comment on my bfing, havent had a chance to respond to that thread either!

Hello Ladies,

WORST DAY EVER!!!!!!!

I was in and out of the car ALL day and poor Archie was soooo hot and bothered and GRUMPY!!

I started bleeding again yesterday so i went to the Dr today who sent me straight away for an ultrasound and a blood test (hcg)..... they let me in for the u/s straight away as it was 'urgent'. They said it looks like I have retained 'products' (i hate that word) so the Dr wants me to go to the hospital for a D&C :wall: I told them i wasnt keen for a D&C (who would be??) so they sent me away with antibiotics for now but i will have to go to the hospital next week.
The sonographer said thats why i would've been getting feint positives (my theory was right!... told ya i should be a doctor.. haha)...

But i've just read the report and it says:

"Mild to moderate amount of retained products or pregnancy seen within the endometrial cavity"....................

HUH??? So what if i am pregnant? Would they just have gone ahead with the D&C anyway!!???
I get the results for the blood test tomorrow and i'll be P*SSED if i am pregnant! They would've just let me go down there tonight for a D&C without even confirming if i am pregnant or not! And if i hadn't read the report i wouldn't have even known!

AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!! I feel so angry and sad and emotional and tired and upset!!!!! Also my mum had to ruch my dad to the hospital today cos he has a severe infection in his leg (he thought it was gout but ended up in the Kalgoorlie hospital last night as he couldn't drive his truck any further.. he is an interstate trucky ) He ended up making it back to Meckering and switching drivers but by the time he got home his whole leg was lumpy and pussy and he was delirious and couldn't even WALK!!!

SO BAD BAD BAD DAY!

AND POOR MIKAYLA TOO!!!!

Kymmie that's horrible, on the scan does it look like retained placenta or a pregnancy bubble lol

so I got in a fight and asked jose to pick up his things today and move out, I've been miserable for awhile constant fighting and ptting ppl down calling me names and I am over it, he never listens to me and if I ask him to do so
ethibg he won't so it's really the kids who suffer....so yesterday he was suposed to come straight home cos he said them were gonna start pays fortnightly so he wouldve been home around 3ish cos they finish early on Friday , I call him at 4:30 and he's at Morley cod they gave him a cheque and that's the bank their signatures are at( have asked him a hundred times to ask them to get the sig sent to the bank neAr us) he likes it being there so he can go to the pub after so he's at the pub wouldve Been for about an hour so I have a go at him for not telling me or giving me enough notice( he wouldn't let me go to my cousins last band recital of the yr for an hour cos I didntgivr him enough notice) so anyway I have a go at him and say don't bother coming home.....now any smart man would know you are not actually telling him to not come home you are telling him to come home faster but he avtuall decides to do what I ask then doesn't he so i call him a couple hours later and he's still out drinking cos I said not to come home :wall: and he's drunk and starts having a go at me about how horrible I am blah blah blah so I told him he's no angel either and I want him to pick up his stuff tomorrow

does anyone know if he tries saying I can't kick him out if I can cos the house lease is in my name?

Well he didn't come get his stuff and I DIDNT call him today yay !!!!!!!! I asked my 16 yr old sis and her bf to move in as they wanted to move out anyway and it will be nice to have extra help with money and time

Actually feeling really good about it like I'm not upset about it, a lol upset but not wanting him to come back

I can't stop thinking about Mikayla.. faark i feel horrible. I wish there was something we could do. I went into her BB group, it was a little boy :( She would be such an amazing mummy.. why does this keep happening??

AFM theo has only just gone down! its midnight! :o bugger! Totally ruined my diet this week too madame - pizza, redrooster, cakes... crap! Not looking forward to weigh in at all! Think i might be super healthy now till wednesday to try and avoid gaining anything - although i have a feeling the damage has already been done! but last weeks weigh in my total loss added to 9.8kg! totally stoked. just hope it stays that way!

Serenity slept from 8-5:30 I went to bed at 8:30 to 5:30 but woke up feeling a bit sad trying to remember I have 4 wonderful kiddies but he hasn't even called or come to see the kids or get his stuff so I just wonder what he's doing that's so damn special but then I don't want to know lol looked over my bills and money will be tight I have 200 a fn left after rent and bills for food and my sis and her bf are only getting a lol from cl which sucks cos I don't wanna ask for lots so I'm hoping he pays me cs cos I was gonna ask him for 200 a week but he only has to pay me like 130 according to cs so I don't really wanna get them to collect it , it's a bit overwhelming that they pay us so lil so we struggle while they live it up, but he won't be seeing the kids til he pays me *sigh*

i hope he helps you out, you and the kids can't live on 200 a fortnight. Is there anyway possible you could get a partime job? like tupperware, or learning ladder? something that you could chose your own hours etc. learning ladder would be good, cause people wouldn't care if you took the kids with you... just a thought.

Hi Mon - sorry to hear about things at home, sounds like you've made the right decision though so you keep at it, things will get better. Good idea on the Avon though, give it a shot, you could end up being mega rich lol, I have heard of that happening!

Hi Kymmy - I'm so sorry to hear you have to have a D&C, so is what they say meaning you have leftover "stuff" from your pregnancy with Archie or is something to do with being pregnant after that?? Good luck and hope you're feeling ok. xx

I have had a nice weekend so far, enjoying it being a long one as it means I get an extra day with DH at home tomorrow lol. It was my oldest nephew's 20th birthday yesterday - I remember changing his nappy, scary though ha ha so we went to my sister's for a barbie and a swim. Because it's been so hot here the pool was 32 degrees, beautiful! Amelia loved it as usual and in the evening when she was having a sleep I had a very relaxing swim....I love night swims and I just floated and chilled, gosh it was beautiful. Today we're just slothing at home, I've done a bit of Amelia's scrapbook but it takes ages just to do one page - I'm not very good at it so am a bit indecisive with what to do......anyway DH wants to go to the nursery now and get some plants. Amelia's been good although I think we're going through another growth spurt, she's been hungrier than usual - gone back to 3/3.5 hourly feeds instead of 4 hourly feeds and Friday she had a rather grumpy unsettled day - guess the heat didn't help but I did stay home in the aircon so I don't think it was that. She's been waking more again at night, not for a feed but just a little whingey, doesn't cry as such just whimpering, the dummy normally fixes it but it's still hard getting up a few more times to do that again when you're used to sleeping through uninterrupted, how rude lol!

Anyway, best go make myself presentable if we're going out in public. Hope you're having nice weekends, aside from the crappy bits some of you are experiencing! xx

So I've been really ****ty thinking jose was at his mates and wasn't coming to see his kids but turns out they dropped him at the traino on Friday night and haven't heard from him since, I've called two hosp and the police and he wasn't there so I'm waiting for the police so I can do a missing persons report

Hi Girls its been a few days, Ive been really busy and havnt had much free time.

Kym- Hope the D&C went ok today, I had one January last year after I had a miscarriage. Its uncomfortable for a few days but you should pick up again soon, poor girl xx

Mon- Whats going on? Hopefully he is just taking some time out and having a think about things. Keep us informed, are you ok?

Telly- I had one of those nights last night with Ruby, but when she woke up and smiled at me, hmmmm, all I could do was kiss her!

Natty- Hows thing? Where ya been chicky??

Alison- That swim sounds so nice, I havnt been for a swim yet. Has Amelia had a reaction to the chlorine? I guess not or you wouldnt keep taking her in, der!
