Yup, happening to me too, so i have resigned to being a slob and staying in my Pj's all day at home :D
Oooh I like that idea!! I'm on mat leave from the end of this week so I will be living in jarmies and trakky-daks until the end I think!
I hope the rest of your pregnancies go smoothly and you'll be holding your precious bubbas in your arms in no time.
Good luck ladies.
i knew i was at the end when there was NO WAY i could sit in a chair....spent the last week either standing, laying down or on my knees bent over a birth ball or chair!! :)
Hope the last few weeks goes well for you , looking forward to seeing you BA.
Ahhh I thought the answer was going to be that you found it hard to wipe your bum!!
Cos I know I did
PMSL Mel - ain't that the truth!
I can't reach to wash the dishes in the sink anymore - such a shame!
For me it's when I find myself thinking...
JUST GET OUT.
I don't care about going through labour again anymore. HURRY UP AND GET OUT because I want to lie on my tummy or my back again.
And I am jealous of anyone who has a c-section or induction because they KNOW how much longer they have to go.
Like I am right now...
Im hearing you all!
My clothes dont fit me anymore and my belly keeps showing. My trousers slip down when i try pull them over my bump! I cant even see my girly area to shave it! To put shoes on that need doing up i resort to sitting on the ground attempting to do them up. I hate trying to put socks on. Its a fair effort to walk outside a couple of metres to go down and feed my horses - then i have to walk back up to the house from a hilly paddock and i near have a heart attack.
Gotta love the third trimester!
As i said to my fiance. I love being pregnant knowing that my little man is in there. But it just sucks being so awkward and uncomfortable all the time!
Oh Mel - I do understand the bum-wiping thing!! I'm not too bad, but it is certainly more of an effort than it should be!! Maybe I should try the Little Squirt!!!
BG - Such a shame you don't have go-go gadget arms to get those dishes done!! Oh well, the Bhoy will just have to take up the slack!!
Curly - Oh yeah.... tummy sleeping...... I remember that!
Summer - I went and had my girly area waxed, but I don't think she did a very good job, but I can't complain because I can't see it to prove it!! :o And don't get me started on my shoes!! Along with my jarmies and trakky-daks I am going to be living in thongs! Hopefully my feet won't get too wet or cold!
...peeing in those little containers for a urine test ends up with wee everywhere because you can't see your bits, the wee stream or the container and you are doing it all by braille.
i am loving the trakky pants, with a belly band to cover the bits that the t shirt doesn't cover.
Curly, i know what you mean. It sure would be handy to know when our little one is gonna arrive.
I can't drive any more..... :wall:
My tummy touches the steering wheel and I can't bring the seat back any further as I am too short!!
Hehe - I'm not quite there yet, but I have a really great electric seat that raises and lowers so I can put the back in to layback mode and raise the seat so I can still reach the pedals and see out the windscreen!
he he,
I have been teaching my 2 yo to say hurry up baby.
My pants also fall down, but i can't wer jammies all day and it's too hot for trackies still, and I can't be bothered finding a belly band, I have 3 they are somewhere here
I would love to do anything on my tummy right now, but most of all I know I will still be waking up at night, but at least I might not have heart burn when I lie back down again, and might be able to go back to sleep!!
Oh and I've been craving mcdonalds sundays' for a few weeks.
oh and you forgot the most important sign of being over it, every person commenting on the fact you must be over it, because your big, or uncomfy, or overdue.
..... others tell you that your are in dire need of a pedicure - can't see my own toes to even warrant thinkin9 about it  must get onto it before my next OB appt, can't have him thinkin9 I don't care about such important issues :D
hehe i remember all that..
also putting on pants (getting my leg up and in the leg hole) was a mission LOL
i LOVED being pregnant, DH cant understand it, but he's a male so i dont expect him too ;)
Good luck ladies, your gorgeous lil babies will be here in no time at all :D
xxx
I remember with DS#1 it was I could hardly fit through the shower door anymore AND could not stand up for more than 30 mins before I had very bad lower back pain....although this started at 6 months!
With DS#2...I didn't want it to be over as my OBGYN was on hols o/s! He was due the 3 or 4th May and she came back to work on the 29th April.....guess who was born on the 29th April?! Her first welcome back home baby!!! lol
Will get back to you with this babeeee!
xxxx
I want to be able to shower with my DH again! We can't fit together anymore :( If he tries to pass me, I think i would fall out...lol
I want to be able to cuddle DH at night, wothout a pillow there, or leaking boobies...lol it freaks and grosses him out!
Ooh yeah, i can't wait til i can spoon DH again, with my whole body not just my stretched out legs and arms touching his (whilst my tummy bumps his back).
lol I love this thread!! I so get it all - the pants rolling down (not good when you teach year 8s and 9s and have to see out the next 2 days before resorting to whatever fits), the bum wiping etc lol. I tried to cook a pot of soup to freeze yesterday and automatically put the pot at the back of the stove out of the reach of DS... couldn't see into it and couldn't stir it, so had to move it to the front! Even then my belly kept hitting the bench hehe. And I'm so over the heartburn! And not being able to sit comfortably or sit close enough to the table to eat without food going everywhere because I have such a big gap between my plate and my mouth... I swear I make more mess than Ds at the moment lol
oo and as for shaving legs or tidying up bikini lines, let alone cutting my toenails... just not happening I'm afraid. And playing on the floor with DS is a nightmare, but the poor little guy just doesn't understand why mummy can't play anymore or why he can't wriggle back on my lap so he doesn't fall off...
Hey Mummytummy! hope the rest of the pregnancy goes well!
I'm only about 6.5 months pregnant and I can no longer see my woop woop, my husband said they are going to need a whipper snipper down there to make it look pretty again hahaha! might have to go for a wax.
I'm struggling now trying to pick things up and then reading about all you girls, it only gets worse!!!!!
Lewisi's mummy I hear you on the can't play, and can't fit on mum's knee.
I've been promising mine that mummy will be able to play on the floor in a few weeks.
he also tells me i have a big tummy, but then he thinks he has a sister in his
My boobs were called 'balls' by DS tonight! lol from the mouths of babes! And even though I always thought my boobs were rather large, they now look considerably smaller given what sticks out beneath them lol
 I'm loving this thread! I am with almost of of you, I can still fit behind the steering wheel, but it difficult to turn around when reversing though!
I am looking forward to bending down with DD without feeling like something is going to pop out down there!!! I forget that it feels like that when I do it then once I'm down there it is so hard to get up it's embarrasing! hahahaha
Gotta love the 3rd trimester! Funny thing is I will miss every bit of preg once I've had this little one, the good definately out weighs the bad! :D
...when your boobs sit on your tummy... and when sitting down your tummy touches your thighs.
...you find yourself yelling at your tummy "Get out Baby!"
I can still fit behind steering wheel, but I'm almost on all fours trying to get the washing out of the front loader as our laundry is quite narrow and if I squat I get wedged between the machine and laundry hamper
You start avoiding the phone cos you don't want to have to tell another person that bub is not here yet. (urgh, we will let you know! just leave us alone)
When all you want to do is sleep.....and you can't! When you get emotional because you're so freaking tired and stressed and worn out from everybody around you....trying to fix their problems and look after your kids plus 3 of your neices.....
Sorry for the rant just am so worn out cos I'm so big and tired and over it! Gggrrrrr. And soooooo tired!
when you get indigestion/heartburn even from boring bland food like porridge or steamed rice and veg! Bugger it - if I'm getting it anyway, I'm going back to eating food with flavour!
When bending over is just not do-able anymore!
When walking seems to take forever to get where you are going, even if it's the toilet, and your bladder is full and squashed and you kinda have to run, but you can't! :shakehead:
haha i remember that lol
i just found one pair of pants that were really comfy, they were like exercise stretch type pants maternity wore them all the time at home out everywhere loves them
When sitting too long on the floor with your toddler results in your legs and *ahem* vajayjay going numb followed shortly after by pins and needles - ouch! .....gotta remember to get a cushion!
lol, I love this thread...I swear there is something new to add for every pregnancy I have...:D
- Walking is soooo much fun right now, especially when if feels like bub is about to fall out my whohar, lol...sitting is the most comfortable thing, especially in my recliner, but then bub must get a tad more space, so rolls and rolls and not too comfy if I get a foot under the ribs...
- shaving my whohar by looking in the mirror, hahahaha, such fun...
- shaving my legs now is a mammoth effort and I look like a weird contortionist..
- bending, lifting, moving in general puffs me out these days, but how else can anything be done with 2 kiddies? unless I do it...
- forgetting my bump is there and running into things - and it HURTS! especially around the belly button where I swear the skin is thinner (you think I would know it was there by now, but no, sometimes I do forget)
- knowing my belly button is sticking out, but unable to see it anymore
- painting my toe nails - again contortionist style!
- getting up to pee at night when busting, only to find that there is not much pee at all, lol...
- heartburn after anything (including water)...I agree with a previous poster, I may aswell eat the yummy delish stuff as I get the heartburn from the plain stuff anyway.
- Laughing at my 3.5yr old who has a "frog" in his belly like mummy's baby. bahahaha
- the joy of my kids climbing onto either side of my lap/bump and using their elbows or hands into it as leverage - NOT!
- not being able to sit on the floor to play lego with my 3.5yr old as I can't reach across the floor anymore, lol, and my legs/whohar going numb from trying.
OMGoodness the list goes on and on and on... but I love being preggers...even the morning sickness that I have most days of all my pregnancies...
Rofl I am exactly the same! I know what you mean about running into things! And you're right it really hurts! O please let the next 5 weeks go quickly!!
and I say, right now
I do not miss the heart burn and I am now taking full advantage of the eater chocolate still in the house,
I am so glad to be able to sleep on my tummy now,
I enjoy not getting up to pee every 2 hours at night, to find there is nothing coming out.
I am loving being able to go back to sleep if I wake at 4am. (which I often do with a newborn)
I have so much more energy now & am not getting puffed reading my son bedtime stories.
I can bend to do the washing!
I can reach the kitchen sink
But all in all I miss my belly that was large for a reason, not just floppy hairy streched skin, nd I miss the movements, but I have my beautifull little girl that is doing well and already growing fast.
Now if only I could find where I put my ab muscles, I think I could do with those right now....
Every night now I get numb hands whilst I sleep, usually both hands too - makes it difficult to grab the doona!
Also, is anyone else sick of feeling starving then having two mouthfuls of food and feeling like you ate a huge meal - its driving me insane!
what about getting up to the loo during the night and having to race there and still only just getting there and then doing that thimble full! It's driving me crazy! Bub is pressing really hard on my bladder when I'm lying on my side and then when I get up to go he/she presses even more and I'm lucky to get there!
O and as for the acrobatics needed to wipe myself dry after a shower... if my belly gets much bigger or the tendons in my pelvis much looser I'll just have to stand there and drip dry for safety's sake! lol
I just got back from Hamilton Island and we only had one day of sun - but enough for me to get a tan line - half-way down my thighs!!! My belly shadowed the top of my thighs so now I have this ridiculous looking diagonal tan line on each leg!!
