YAY first in!!

I am a little sad, The Littlest Squish has pretty much grown out of her NB/Small nappies. Her thighs are just so chunky. I put her in a medium SS! pocket earlier and that fit on the second tightest snaps (not even the tightest ones!) and the same a sz 1 Auriel. I am not ready to pack away the NB squishy stuff yet!!

WOAB - Sz 0 Auriel frilly bum roses on the loosest snaps
WOMB - Beetlebums mashup pink/sage (i call it the candy apple one lol)

damnit, too quick for me kitten! i cant believe that! i bought 2nd hand dm that arrived today and they fit him perfectly on the smallest snaps!

ooh i finally got a maz cover to try and see what all the rage is about :P are they ok for night use?

leckert - so tempting! how much would you want for them?

afm, fluffy mail arrived today! 4 large petites and a multi fit! such gorgeous colours especially put together!. i think the larges might be a little too big still but thats ok. it wont be much longer till he can fit into them. just means i need to buy a few more mediums until they do :D

Well, I think I may have my very first convert on my hands ^^; One of the girls in my MG is interested in using cloth on her bub and as been grilling me so I've offered to take a few different ones from my (albiet) small stash so she can have a look at some of the different ones in the flesh :)

Got my Itti Second today, dunno what's wrong with it!! It's so annoying that you need to do the whole washing thing before you can use them *sigh*

i totally agree with you there! i wish they just came pre done so we could put them straight on their bottoms!

Hi all, haven't been in here yet... but thought i'd join in.

My stash is building!! 6 CT's, hang on, 8!! Got 2 more today. 5 IBs, a few cheapie china ebay ones (they very cute) & a few randoms.
I won an AngelTears christmas nappy that arrived yesterday :D Its my FB profile pic.
Got my first swaddlebee's the other day. I'm in LOVE with the way they fit DD!
Waiting on 2 daddle doo day naps (have 2 nights of hers), a GF hot pink & curly, lol, a Maz night nap & a few more (so much for stopping til after christmas!) on the way! Loving getting suprises in the mail every day!!

Angelpants - I use Maz covers every night. Don't think miss is a very heavy wetter yet, but we don't change nappies overnight anymore. Daddledoo night & maz cover does here :)

Kitten - we are just coming out of NB's too, but didn't have many. Mostly used prefolds & even though they don't wanna go around her belly & just use them as boosters with my NB maz covers :)

There are quite a few AbbyGro's on 'buy & sell your mcn's on FB' if you don't mind second hand. There are quite alot of new nappies go on there too (though you all probably know about it). That site is my addiction... lol

hmm im yet to try an abby gro. im hoping to get a envious one at their stocking tonight to try (if i remember this time :wall:), they certainly look pretty!!
i got the maz cover from buy and sell on FB lol my 1st time buying from there normally i use nappy addicts...

hmmm, i should get some of the mama pads! the plastic crap is nasty! they make me itch! Are they easy to look after.

I just looked at my boosters on the clothes horse and DD's spaghetti poo has stained an insert with tumeric *sigh* I think i'm going to do another RG soak soon because some are looking discoloured

Hello ladies, havent been in this thread for AGES!!!! Still plodding along with cloth with DD but now I'm halfway through my pg I will need advice and help with newborn fluff!! I didn;t start cloth with Em until she was 4 months old (I just didn't realise MCNs were out there!!) So I'll be popping in every now and then to ask about whats best for new bubba's. I'm thinking this baby is a boy too so most of my stash is going to be not so well used ;)

I didn't know about MCNs til DD was 4 months old either Ezymay. When I get UTD I'm going to be so lost about newborn fluffy bums!

LOVE IT! DD's bum is better usually by next bum change with paw paw. She's done an EPIC poo and it's DP's turn to bath her :rofl: I LOVE when that happens!

DO IT!! You'll never look back. I use Twinkle Lily pads. I just bought one of those and liked them so stuck with them, but the mummapads look good too. I like how they're adjustable to fit your underwear width XD

They are super easy to look after. When you're finished with one just chuck it in some plain cold water to soak, then in the wash and then on the line and you're done! Pretty much the same as nappies (except the soaking part) with regards to the sort of washing powder you use, putting in the drier, sun gets out stains etc etc... I look forward to AF every month now ^^;

LOL! I just told DP and he looked at me like I was nuts. The plastic ones make me itch. He just asked how much (I was looking at a starter pack on cloth pad shop) and he said yeah no worries. As soon as I said that plastic itches he understood. He knows i'm a tad out of the norm with stuff like that. I think I am a reborn tree hugging hippie (no offense to hippies).

DD is having a come down from playgroup xmas party today so is a tad overstimulated and won't settle. She's running around rubbing the bonnibuns shell I put over her sposie. It's minky so super fluffy.

Dh was really good when I got mine. He even helped me work out which side goes skin side XD

The plastic makes me itch too. When I was using both I noticed the difference heaps but I have enough of a mummy stash not to have to now :)

And I totally get the new age hippy thing. My mum had a chuckle at me the other day as I ruffled thru DS nappies in the nappy bag to pull out a twinkle lily :)

SAME!!! i got 2 brand new pea pods off there for 20 including post, and have about 10 diffrent sorts in the mail on the way!! :redface: i blame df for encouraging the swap! wish id wrote down what they were but it will be a nice suprise when they arrive! blame baby brain!!
i swear the mcn's are working some magic on my little girl! (that or shes just a cheeky little thing!) TMI comming up! she had constipation since she was about 4 months, give or take, nothing id try would work, but since ive been using cloth, no problems at all!!! i joked to df that she knows i have to clean it now so is making sure theres some work there!!
not related, but why have i just found out about the teething neclaces?! we usualy have up to 7 top changes a day from drool alone, she got her beads today, and weve had the morning and afternoon outfit change and thats it! havent even needed a bib (she usualy soaks threw them!)

Sarah, I've noticed DD doesn't like pooing in sposies. I think it's because they aren't as comfy so she's not as comfy iykwim. She definately seems more relaxed waling around and such in cloth. She waddles funny when I put her night sposie on. Her teething necklace has been a god send here. DD becomes a downiright turd if it's off. Only found out a few days by accident and the mood change was seriously epic!

DD2 is like that, rarely pooes in a sposies but loves doing it in her cloth!
i grabbed a few bargains off the site last night, havent been there in aggges, probably because i really dnt need anything! lol but got a cute turtle print nappy for bimby! eeek 2 in cloth, i think i should just move into the laundry!

WOIB- still a sposie coz she's still asleep!! wooo lol

jamie is opposite he does a poo in almost every sposie and its usually horrible and sloppy icky

Ohhh!! Just found this thread! I am a new convert to cloth, it was just getting too expensive with three in nappies. Dd1 is only in them at night but she keeps asking for pretty nappies now.

I have some eBay cheapy ones which I got to see if I liked using cloth, I have been dealing with the poo fine though. I am building up a collection of itti bitti's, they fit dd and Ds really well. I am getting their seconds and got some off eBay. They just take sooo long to dry.
