I've just uploaded today's shot. It's another dragonfly. Have so many fluttering on the pond lately, and they make such a good photo, so I couldn't resist.

It's just rained so humidity is up. I hope I can find something inside where it's nice and cool.
Today's pic is of my son's companion dog. he has just been desexed and the stitches are finally out. So it was bath time for a very smelly puppy.
I'm still not sure if he likes bath time yet. He doesn't look to happy in the pic

i has gots good news. Shortest gastro ever :crossfingers:. Had stopped vomiting and .. ahem... other end... by lunchtime. THANK BLOODY GOODNESS! And thank goodness my mum was here. Between DH still being sick & me this morning, we're a shocking pair! Vomiting half-way through a BF was an interesting experience. oh and boy i have SO much sympathy for my poor dh with his vertigo for 2 months now. I couldn't hack 5 mins like that!
So didn't get a good pic from the day, but have just run around now to come up with something that represents my day lol

I tagged todays photo with the word 'crap' and then clicked on the tag.. seems to be popular haha.. oh well. I have no inspiration today. Hopefully I'll get a good night sleep tonight and won't be woken up every hour and a half, and hopefully tomorrow will be better.

ZF - thanks.. but I don't like what I did to the photos! They were a bright vibrant blue from the blue bucket, but I couldn't get a proper drop, edited them and now they are not as clear, and just look blah. I put them into a collage because on their own they just looked like an x-ray or a weather pattern or something :rofl:

Bec, try picnik. Chose Tint, I'm thinking blue or purple or pink, then decrease the fade. It increases the intensity of the water.
ZF, I'll post on FB the original photo, the edits and end product of how I did it. Essentially it's a ball tree from Christmas and I've cropped and played with the colours on picnik.
It's so nice not having DP at home I have time to play around and not feel guilty that I'm not doing something around the house. I enjoy coming home and relaxing with the camera, it calms me down after work. The old man can be a stick in the mud sometimes.

Thanks CBG, that's kind of what I did but in Picasa, I used filtered black and white but I can't remember what colour filter I used. I really don;t want to look at these any more! I love the original. It almost has a swirl affect about it. The blue is so vibrant.

Morning ladies... i was thinking last night, what are your FAVE pics of your own?
I prefer my unedited photos, a lot of the flower shots i love and i like them even more because i think they look ok without having to edit which kind of makes me feel good.
So what do you like of yours and why?

I'm loving your pics Yules! Learning a bit more about editing was one of the reasons I wanted to do the 365 project - I know nothing! I'm really enjoying having a tinker with it though.
ZF, good question, you've got me thinking too. I reckon my faves are the ones that I've had to be a bit creative with and made me think about which setting I need to use etc. I was really pleased with my neon heart for example.
is there any way to bloch users on 365....as i have some smart rude dog commenting on my fish like.........would you do that if i could hear it scream.....what the ****kkk id like to jump through this screen and hear her screem.......im so angry i thought this was my god dam friggen project
Oh that's awful :( I just had a look and I can't see any way to block people. You can delete their comment though if you like?

HERE is today's, another collage only for the fact we've had a bi t of flash flooding around and again i couldn't pick just one.
The road into town has NEVER been blocked in the time we've been here, it was amazing to see.. mother nature sure has somethign against us aussies at the moment.

still havent got my simcard back, the meanie, but i am going to pinch his phone and put the pics on it up, tho some are taken by him not me :redface: he wont mind as long as i dont say what ones :shh: i wish i had a camera to take with me to the milk bar yesterday, the park had dissapeard and was one big torrent of water heading out to the road! i had to hold onto the poles they have along the foot path to stop getting swept down the street!! feel like a dik going out in it, but if we got flooded in, we didnt have credit so it was a must-do trip.

Barney, did you find out if you can ban that person? I'm sure (as someone else suggested) that you can delete peoples comments too.
WOW I am so overwhelmed with all the comments on my lala salama photo. It really has made my day, I've been having such a horrid time in the last week or so and to go onto 365 and read all these positive words from people is just so heartwarming.
Todays photo is up, and yes I cut off my head on purpose. It's a pic of one of the aprons I've made from my African fabrics, I was trying to get a good shot of it to put on my made-it shop page (soon to be up and running I hope) but it didn't really turn out clear enough in this one, so I played with it a bit and used it for my 365 instead.
Bec - It's a lovely boost isn't it when you read all these comments by strangers about your pic.
Barney - sorry to hear you had a negative comment. It's such a shame when the 365 project is generally such a lovely fun positive place. Like some of the others suggested, I hope you can delete it.
AFM well another pic of bubba girl lol, not very fancy but appealed to me. Oh and someone asked about my processing of my glass shot. IT's just shot on the good old hipstamatic on the iphone, no post processing or frame added at all (that's all selected in the hipstamatic app when I take the shot).
Sorry to jump in here girls but I've been following a few 365 projects and was thinking of starting one too. Was there a thread that had some tips on how to begin?
