Spock? Bubba? Bubble? Pea? Legume?
DD1, bean
DD2, bean sprout
DS, Bimby
DD3, Bear cub
Doodlebug (aka Doodley-do)
Snuffy, Bear :)
I think number 1 was jelly bean or something
I have a suspicion that DD was beanie baby
This one was nothing until she started moving about then I called her TummyBunny coz she has always been fairly active and bounces off the walls.
A quiet congratulations hun, hoping your little Blip (the sound just on a radar) is a sticky one x x x x x
Sprog, Bubble, Alien, Unborn, Peanut, Bun, Bunny......I think that's it. I might come back ;)
DS1 - Bob (a old joke about naming a child bob) or Zermatt (as in town in Switzerland where we visiting during some of our TTC time - sharing a dorm with two other couples and had to make obvious excuse to get some privacy to BD!)
DS2 - Ester (as that is what my mother and sister wanted us to call No 2 but wasn't going to happen).
We found out the gender at the 20 week scan and chose proper names then, so we just used their actual names from then on. Not very exciting.
DD was Gill and this one is Beez.... Gill and Beez are the guys off the Metal Hammer Podcast.... So, yeah... metalhead referance....
I nicknamed my nieces too. Abigail (RIP gorgeous) was Cletus (like Cletus the Fetus.... my sister wasn't impressed) and 'Freaky' was nicknamed "Kevin" like the bird off UP. My sister watched it early in the first trimester and cried all the way through it...
Miss H was Skeletor
Miss Z was lil parasite :)
I am a loving mum really :D
Nugget, who soon became Smudge.
And Cookie, who was briefly "the twins" (I thought I had twins brewing) and Sprout.
We have had a smidge and clem. Lol can't remember who tho
DD1 was Ed. After multiple miscarriages I was so desperate for a sticky bub so my sick mind went sticky = glue. They make horses into glue (before anyone jumps on me, I've always had horses, love them, never ever sent one to the glue factory!!). Mr Ed was a horse. Therefore "Ed".
DD2 was Ned, short for next Ed
This bub is Ted - third Ed.
PS Have absolutely everything crossed for you M. So pleased for you.
Ours certainly aren't cute but both have stuck for the duration of my pregnancies
DD was 'Tarko'
This baby is 'Nasi'
Tacos are one of DH's favorite foods so when discussing names for DD, he threw it into the mix (being an idiot) but adjusted the spelling to make it 'modern'
This baby was conceived in Singapore and DH loves Nasi Goreng so that's where Nasi came from. Another one of these  seems appropriate!
eeep!! Congrats!!!!
I didn't have any creative names so I'm no help!
 LuluHB
when first TTC, was peanut (thus I am the peanutter!!)
first was Sprog (courtesy of grandpa in Rugrats, we later figured out!!)
this one is Ziggy (the zygote ... though they're not a zygote anymore!!)
cutest one I've ever heard of was from SIL - they called DN Spanner. Because there was a spanner in the works ;) A very planned and beloved spanner, albeit.
split pea would also be cute.
oh, and ....
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
We didn't have one for DS. DD was Twinkle.
DD was Oops
This one has been called Tummy Bug, TB or B2
Did I read right?! Congrats are in order?? Yay for you hon!!
DD was "Embryonic Jones and the Temple of Womb" or Joneslet for short ;)
This one is Bee :) it originated as 'The Bee' cause for some long-winded reason I can't remember anymore, DH and I started calling each other 'bee' which sometimes morphs into 'Mr/Mrs Bee', then babies in general became 'beebee's' then got shortened to 'bee''s then hence the baby became either 'the bee', 'little bee' or just 'Bee'. ITMS, lol.

We called our bub Fetus! DH tried to change it to Cletus to annoy me because I HATED that but thankfully it didn't stick
DS - Rocky - we had one embryo for our first IVF cycle and it needed to be a 'fighter' to stick - it did!!
This pg - Rusty - we continued with the movie theme, and as we had TWELVE embryos this time we went with Rusty (Brad Pitts character in Oceans TWELVE)
This one started off as 'Big Head' because that's the first thing the Ob said when we had our first scan ('ok, we'll just sweep up and let's see what we can find.... Wow, look how big the head is?!'
After the 20w scan, it became 'Baby Alien Face Big Head'.
It's now called Baby W, The Babe, Kick-a-boo, and Chubs.
Oh and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
:leap: :leap:
Both mine were wee peanuts!! lol
Huge congrats sweetie, hope all goes well for you! xoxox
Thank you everyone. It's early but I am so darn excited!
Lumpy- because he was always making my tummy look lumpy, the little wiggle- because he was going crazy in the car one day, bump (how original ).
First one was Splat, because I was looking through a pregnancy book and there was a picture of a zygote implanting which looked like someone had thrown an orange at a wall and it had gone ''splat''. Second one was Tiger, because it was the year of the Tiger, and I wanted him to be strong and dig in there :) Later on he was Captain Tiger Kickers of the Find Mummy's Kidneys Brigade. Bit long though.
Massive congratulations :)
First one was Squidgy
This one is Bubbalou
DD1: Buddah Bub
DD2: Bubbity Boo
DS was Bubba Bear
DD was Baby
This one is Grasshopper
Bubs was known as Abe as hubby thought he looked like Abe from Abe's Oddysee (old PS game) on the ultrasound.
Mine is currently apple-seed. Not sure if it'll stay that way as I get further along
Bubsicle, Junior and Mini BT (surname).
Congratulations M!! So happy for you.
we didnt have anything besides bubba or the baby untill we knewDS was a boy then we called him by his name with DD we had no idea so she was baby so original lol
=) Spock, because I share the same first name as Spock's mums name, so I thought it appropriate that my child be Spock.
congrats M!
My son's nickname was "Little Chyan" pronounced "Choong" lol! We had a client bring a cat in to the clinic and it's name was "Lemon Chyan". We thought the name looked pretty so we asked about it. She told us in her culture "chyan" is pronounced more like "choong" and when used after a name it meant that the person (or animal haha) was a very good/close friend. We thought it was really cute for the baby and it stuck.
We knew before conception that our daughter was a girl, so her nickname was always "Apple Blossom".
This bub was a big surprise to us and gave my hubby quite a scare, so it's been nicknamed "Baby Boo" lol! I have no idea if it's a boy or girl even though hubby has known since 12 weeks and we are now at 23 weeks.
Ds1 was jelly bean and ds2 was bubble
DD was always thumper, from they day I poas til she was being dragged out of me!!!
Congrats! Hope you have a wonderfully smooth pregnancy :)
