Hi all! Just wanting to update you all on my progesterone blood test results from yesterday! At 7dpo, my level was 75.2! My nurse was really happy and said this was a very good number!

Beau- just one more day.. hope you're ok and today goes quickly- just try not to think about it..... bahahahaha AS IF!

AFM.... weeeeellll..... I POAS this morning (at 5am- couldn't stay in bed any longer) and I have just the faintest faintest suggestion of a line at 9dpo. Like the shadow of a shadow in strong light if you tilt it to a certain direction. SO trying not to get my hopes up but I'm pretty excited!!!!!!!!

I am going stir crazy!!! Today I am 8dpo and I won't be getting my beta until 15dpo if AF doesn't show!! I really hope she doesn't!!!

still no sign of af here. waiting until tomorrow to poas again, the first 2 were Saturday and Monday with no real indication :( well Mondays might have had a really really faint almost line....

12dpo here and nothing but BFNs in spite of my temps staying high longer than normal...

I'm sorry Juniper. There is still hope if af hasn't arrived yet & temps still high.

Lyra- I have my fingers crossed for you that your line gets darker & stronger.

Jo - your progesterone sounds good. Good luck trying to stay sane until our bt.

Yay one more sleep for me! My bb are sore but have had this before then they stop being sore as af starts. I am so hoping for my phone call tomorrow afternoon to be good news. I not sure if we will be able to try again till March/April if its negative. :(

Thanks Beau! I'm already going insane now!!! Lol!!! DH doesn't want me to poas because he doesn't want me to get upset if I see a BFN...

AFM- I have now begun to feel very sickly and like vomiting... I'm not sure if its real though it just me hoping that I'm getting it as a symptom!

as far as I know it takes about 7 - 10 days for the pregnyl to leave your system, I am not sure if the other triggers are the same....? probably I'd guess as they are made from the HCG that the pregnancy tests are testing.....

It can be up to 12 days, depending on the dose and how your body metabolises it...

For me it's about 10 days for a Pregnyl trigger.

ok just did another test and the line has disappeared :( am hoping it will reappear tomorrow. I knwo I shouldn;t get too excited as I didn;t have a period after the miscarriage so I think lining will be ****. Maybe it's a chemical :(

How is everyone this morning?

I had a fairly disturbed sleep and got out of bed earlier than I normally would.

Did my POAS and have another BFN but I am so confused as I am never this late, usually a day or 2 at the most. Will discuss with the doc tomorrow but I wish the appointment was today

I didn;t sleep very well either!

Well my test this morning is no different to yesterday- SO faint but I think it's there. I'm just nervous it's still hcg from the previous pregnancy. My hcg was 7 the day before I ovulated- I did a test and it was negative in 10 minutes but when it dried there was a really obvious line. Those FRER are SO sensitive. So I'm just hoping it would have been darker by now. I guess all I can do is keep testing and hoping.

Morning girls.

It must have been a night for restless sleeps. I didn't sleep well either. I did wake up twice covered in sweat - normally this happens as my hormones drop & af starts but my temp is still up & BB still sore & no cramps yet. Am sitting waiting for my bt now. I am so nervous. I guess a few more hours and I will know either way.

Kbudgie & Lyra - fx for some dark lines on poas for you girls.

Also in regards to the pregynl taking 7-10 days to get out of your system - does that mean my af won't come till that long after my last shot if I get a bfn? Is that how it works?

Beau- sorry I got confused I'm not sure about the pregnyl. When I've had trigger which is higher dose than pregnyl then progesterone support in tww it's taken about 10 days to clear. When I've had trigger then pregnyl injection support in 2ww I'm not sure how long it took to clear because I never tested after I got a negative result. But I would always get af at about 15 pr 16 dpo regardless of having pregnyl 5 or 6 days before ( I can't remember exactly when last one was but it was less than 10 days) hope that help. Good luck. Lyra stardust - try not to drive yourself crazy with the lines. I can't talk cause I do it to :-)

the pregnyl as luteal phase support for me always stopped AF from arriving when I expected her to arrive, but it makes sense that the trigger would be longer..... just try and relax in the TWW (I know crazy impossible!) and the BT will happen when it does.... you can't get the confirmed result any quicker anyway....

but then.... I am NOT, I repeat NOT a POASer.... I did the first cycle and it messed with my head... plus it's a waste of money, so I just wait.... all cycles except the BFP last cycle I have known that it was over as I started bleeding heavily, so I've never needed to POAS I guess....

essentially I am saying - you can try and find reasons for everything, and try to interpret everything... in the end you will never 'really' know until that blood test two weeks later... so.....

The clinic rang while I was at work but wanted to be home if I needed to be upset when i got results. Apparently I have a very small amount of hcg in my system but they are not sure if its left over from the pregnyl or a from a pregnancy in trouble like an ectopic. So need to have bloods again Friday. Great! Lets just prolong the torture a bit longer. My progesterone is apparently near baseline too so doesn't sound like good news to me. If that's the case I want af to hurry up so we can try again. It needs to come before Monday or we won't be doing another fet until march/April. Why is this all so hard? Wouldn't it be nice to get pregnant naturally first go like so many of my friends.

Beau so sorry things aren't looking good. I hear you wanting it naturally and easily, it would be do nice to fall pregnant that way instead of the torture we have to put ourselves through.

AF arrived the 8th day after the 2nd pregnyl shot for one of the FET's and the 7th day after for the other FET - the only time I used it during a stim cycle it was a BFP (and m/mc :( ) which meant I had a 39 day cycle and a 35 day cycle (respectively)..... usually I have 30 - 32 days.... but I think it really depend on the transfer date - it pretty consistently increased my luteal phase to 13/14 days....

I'm so sorry it's not looking good :( if it helps, try to remember that each cycle teaches you and the FS something new about your body and how you respond to everything, so there's always something to get out of it - that's what I find useful anyway xoxo :hug:

Good to know there is a positive side to all this treatment. And yes so glad we have medical advances to help us. I feel like our journey is just beginning as far as assisted conception goes and I can honestly say as fearful as I was, reading what you all share here has given me some courage. I still hope that the late AF is actually something good as opposed to an ectopic pg (scared of that right now) I also read somewhere that another possible BFN would be male fetus makes for v low hgc. I am gearing myself up for BT tomorrow (can you tell)

I think you are all amazing ladies and I am honoured to be allowed to follow your journeys, even if the journey can be crappy at the best of times. Hopefully we will all get the result we want soon xx

I am just wondering if your fs clinics do bloods to check hormone levels after ovulation. Mine doesn't but am thinking of asking for it next cycle we do as perhaps it could help.

Also do any of you girls get the fs to ring your dhs with results. I am tempted to ask mine to as I hate getting bad news especially when I am at work - the only place to go have a cry is in the toilets.

anyone else having strange dreams? i dreamt i went for a bt and was able to get an instant result though i had to decode it and i could not figure it out!

still no sign of Af am hoping for some answers today

Juniper- praying your temps are misleading you and it's good news.

My turn- I wish I was not a poas er but I'm an addict! I try not to but I can't help myself. For me it's a control issue. So much of this process is disempowering and I hate the lack of control. I hate that such a meaningful thing is delivered over the phone by a nurse that I generally have no rapport with and probably diesn't care that much. You never know which nurse is going to be ringing you and I feel that they are sometimes insensitive. Ok so I can't get pregnant like everyone else but I'll be damned if I'm not going to pee on a stick and be the first one to know if I'm pregnant. I love that I was the first one who knew with both my pregnancies and not a guy in a lab and a nurse. Ok so it was horrible with the chemical as I thought I was pregnant when it wasn't viable but for me that chance is worth it. I do wish I had the strength just to wait until 14 dpo though but it's a compulsion! I honestly can't help myself!! I totally respect your self control.

Anyway, I had some bleeding last night which had now stopped so totally confused. Could be implant but I'm trying not to assume that. Test still exactly the same- so so faint but comes up within 10 mins but no change over last 3 days. Arghhh.

Beau, I only had my mid-luteal progesterone checked once during a treatment cycle. I had it checked one time during a natural cycle, but only to confirm I had O'd so I could start the synarel to do IVF the following cycle.

lyra, if it was implant bleeding, then it will take a couple of days to see a change in the hpts. FX for you. :luck:

Lyrastardust - I have to say I am just like you with poas. I find it actually helps keep me level headed, cause once I have poas for that day it's done for another day and I can accept it for that day that whatever happens.

Well I am officially PUPO with 2 x day2 envied on board, they used embryo glue so if they both decide to stick around it will be twins for us :-). I am one of those strange people that would actually like it. BT is on 24th December, I so hope we get the best Christmas present we could ever ask for, crossing our fingers !!!!!!

Everyone else I may have forgotten- hope you are all traveling well during your tww, and that you are not going too crazy!!!

AFM- I caved and poas this morning (10dpo), BIG MISTAKE!!! Obviously a BFN... I thought I should give it a go seeing as I have been experiencing so many symptoms, but seeing the BFN really broke my heart... I have been having some really painful cramp like pains in my left side above my hip bone in the back area this afternoon and tonight... Never experienced these pains before so not sure what it is... Question for you ladies though, sorry I know I ask a lot of them! lol. With every BFP, is there always implantation bleeding???

Jo, there's not always implant bleeding. I have only had it for 1 of my 3 BFPs.
