Hi all,
Still no news here... I turned 30 on Monday and I'm really not enjoying trying to save money for our ICSI cycle... It really really sux...
Hope everyone is well, and for those in the tww, good luck and fingers crossed for you!!! xx
Hi ladies
I have been stalking the past few weeks. Unfortunately things are not looking good for us so am likely to be back here next week.
Good luck to all of you
Xx
I hope that's not the case Beau30, FX it works out!
Oh, Beau, I hope not!
Jo, happy belated birthday! Saving is never fun, but it's all for a good cause. FX it pays off with a BFP for your cycle!
Waiting for doctor's clinic to call me back with an update about the specialist about vasectomy reversal possibility...called and spoke with someone at about 8:45AM this morning... no feedback yet :(
1 week to go till our first appointment at Dandenong Fertility Centre though!!!
Thanks for your reply Juniper :)
I spoke to my husband about how I was feeling and he said he felt the same and suggested I call and speak with a nurse.
After speaking with the clinic I have decided to go ahead with the cycle and have to start the pill tomorrow for 14 days.
At this stage my first egg pick up will be 4th march...., I got off the phone and went and told my boss (only one other the husband and FIL who know about IVF) and he got all excited about it and said that was great news........ I burst into tears!
Not sure why but I did say I didn't think I could get excited about something so un natural :(
I am feeling better about it all now though :)
hi ladies Just an update for thread im Cd 13, think im 1dpo of a fake non ac cycle lol. ... so just thought id pop in

Beau you are in my thoughts and pray very much you dont end up back here hun xxo
good luck mel :-)
happy belated birthday jo white , maybe icsi is the trick for you! i have my fingers crossed!
Good luck girls xo
Ceejelz, you'll find other people will often say, "How exciting!" or similar. They all think it's exciting when it's not them doing it! I always say, "No, just scary.". Lol, I remember the first time my boss was in my office the day after the final b/t, all excited, asking how we went. I actually felt bad telling him it was BFN. Next cycle was similar, but not quite as excited. The third time, he seemed afraid when he asked. He didn't ask after the 4th or 5th cycles, so it was nice to not have to lie (or have him be the first to know) when we finally got our BFP.
Sarah, based on the "fake non ac cycle" part of your post, I haven't put you in the 2ww. Let me know if you would like me to move you down there with a dpo count.
Jo - happy belated b'day!
Beau - I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's false alarm and all will be well. Am thinking of you.
AFM - Am having the trigger injection tonight before 10pm, am putting it off a bit, but it has to be done within 3 hours :$ ET will be on Thursday! Can't wait. My other half was away for work, but is coming back tonight, so some support for injection I hope.

Thanks Juniper. Can I please be changed to CD1.
Thanks
Sooooo AF has just stopped...... I had a decent amount of light flow and pain yesterday so today should be CD1 but nothing is happening...... What the????
Beau hoping all goes well for you xx
AFM just waiting for our PGD testing to finish before we start planning any cycles
Hi to everyone! Hope you are all travelling well xx
Beau wishing you all the best xxx
Ceejelz welcome hope your stay is short
AFM I was in a huge rush when i went to pick up my injectables and i was not told and i did not ask what time is the best time to do it? Do i have to inject myself at the same
time every day?
Rai - I was told to either do it in the morning or in the evening, and if you start doing it in the morning, keep doing it then. Sometimes they told me to hold of till after the blood test and scan, just depending on how the follicles are developing. I did it in the morning, so it was out of the way and I didn't have to stress about it.
rai, both of my FS wanted the FSH done in the morning, so it would be best to call their office and ask. As others have mentioned above, you need to do it the same time every day. Half an hour either side won't hurt, but aim for the same time. I had to do mine at 6.30am because that was the latest I could do it before leaving for work. Problem was, that meant I had to get up and do it at 6.30am on weekends too. >.<
Ceejelz, when you work out what's going on, let me know and I'll update your entry in the list. Last cycle I had some light bleeding before AF, then a day of nothing then AF arrived in full force. First time that has happened for me, so freaked me out a bit...
I apologise that this post is TMI but I need to ask if anyone else bleeds when on the pill? I have been getting a lot of bleeding for about a week at a time since being on the pill which is happening again now. I took the last one today ready to start IVF cycle on CD3 but how am I supposed to know when CD1 is when I'm already bleeding. I spoke to FS a couple of weeks ago about changing the pill I was on but they wouldn't do it...
Sneaks in Faye I bleed the whole time I was on the pill before starting ivf. I got so over it. Then I stopped it and 3 days later AF arrived and I could tell the difference as it was full flow rather than just lingering annoying type bleeding! FS called the bleeding on the pill breakthrough bleeding. It was ridiculous!
Thanks Joeve, so annoying isn't it!
I hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend. or house guests leave this Tuesday after 2 months so it will be nice to get back to normal. I have been using my ebay opks and this morning got a positive! I will repeat it later just to make sure it's not off. It was not my first pee but not sure. Either way it's nice to know the lh is being detected I guess. For the more opk experienced ladies, do you test past the first sign of positive? ? Still quite new to opk but I think I will o in the next 24 - 48 hours? I'd that right?
kbudgie, ideally you should keep testing until your temps go up to confirm O, but I tend to just keep testing until I get a clear negative after the positive. It's possible to get a couple of days of +opk.
Afm, temp crash this morning. AF isn't due until Tues, so not sure why my temps are dropping so early. Last thing I need is to start worrying about a shortening LP... :(

Juniper - could you make put me on the waiting for transfer list - transfer on Thursday 7/2! Thanks heaps :)
Hi ladies. I hope you've all had a lovely weekend. I've been busy starting to pack up the house. 1st Mach is our settlement so will come around quickly. Have 6 years worth of collectables ( general household items) that accumulate to be packed up and a husband who's never home to help before 11pm every night! And gone by 10 every day, 7 days a week
Happy belated birthday Jo
Fingers crossed Beau
Afm- had an appointment on Thursday with FS. He was really happy that I have lost 10 kg, but wants me to lose another 10 before we start anything.
I was so disappointed coz I thought we would be ready to start this month :-( I know so many other ladies that have babies and also through ivf that are bigger than me.
He just said that with the money, emotions and time we will be investing into it, I should be at a healthy starting point. I know it all makes sense, but disappointing at the same time.
So I've given my self a 12 week plan as a max. It's doable.! Isn't it?
I've just found out that 4 friends are all expecting, although I'm happy for them, I'm upset that its not us! One was an accident!!! Which makes it even worse to hear.

Hi ladies.
Unfortunately I am back here. We had a scan last Thursday & the baby was only a 1/3 the size it should have been & the heart beat was very slow. We just had a repeat scan & today there is no heart beat. It's absolutely devastating especially after it took us 23 months to fall pregnant. I am booked in for d&c Wednesday then have been told to wait 1 full cycle before trying again - so looks like April for us. I am just so scared it will take us a few cycles to get pregnant again then we could miscarry again. I know we are all in the same boat & life just isn't fair at all.
Hope you are all doing better than me today xx
oh Nic it's always had to are thus around falling pregnant and seemingly so easily *hugs*
Beau i am so sorry x i know how you feel having just had my mc before Christmas. my doc said the same to us and 1 cycle felt like ages not knowing what my body was doing. November was our 2 years tcc and December was my first bfp ever :-(
FX we get some more bfps in the group in February xx
Beau I'm so sorry to hear that
Nic yes it's doable Good Luck it's hard losing weight and like you said bigger
People do ivf and bigger people fall pg it's just not fair that it seems
So hard for us to get that BFP but I really hope you get yours on your first Ivf
Good luck xxxx
Beau I'm so so terrably sorry it's not fair ttc should not be like this, sending you
Lots of hugs xxxxxx
Beau - Am so sorry to hear of your loss. Sending you big hugs... It seems to be the story of too many of us in this thread. We know what you're going through and if you want/need to talk, send me a pm. xx
Beau I am so so so sorry xox I have been there and it hurts so bad
look after and be kind to yourself xox
Beau, I'm so sorry to hear that. There have been too many of us here who have been through that disappointment. Be aware that the d&c cycle can be a long one (typically 5-6 weeks). I found the physical recovery from the d&c to be very easy, so hopefully you will have an easy time with it too. I did bleed for 2.5 weeks, but I think most women have far less than me. The emotional recovery was a whole different ball game - the worst of it took a month, but the full recovery took months and months. You're welcome to PM me if you want someone to talk to about it.
I'm so sorry Beau

So nervous! Have been putting off making an appt for a second opinion for ages, but finally called this morning. I was told there is a 6 month wait for the FS I want to see, but was lucky and got a cancellation appt TODAY!! I really don't know if this is the right step or not, so really, really nervous! I was told the appt may be as long as 2 hours (to see both FS and nurse and do any b/w) and right at DD's naptime, so thankfully MIL is available to babysit at short notice! I can't even get in to see my GP for the referral until after the appt, but I've been told that's okay as long as it's the same day. I've had butterflies in my stomach ever since I got off the phone!
Juniper I honestly think things that happen like that especially when fs is booked out for so long that its
Ment to be, FX everything goes well xxxxx
That's great Juniper! I hope the appt goes well for you :)
