Thanks to everyone, thanks for all your support, help answering my questions, doubts.
I am sorry that many of you are going through such a hard time. I hope things get better soon and we all have what we have been looking for, for all this time.
I am a worrier, and now that I am pregnant, I started to worry about having an ectopic pregnancy, is that possible?
Why they are not doing another bt tomorrow to check if the levels are going up?
When someone has had a miscarriage, how were they hcg levels at 4 weeks, is a 325 normal? low?
I just feel so scared that I don't even want to walk much.
I have an appointment for a scan on the 9th of July and I wish they were doing it right now if possible.
MissB- Well done on getting 3 eggs fertilised! Bugger about not being able to do a fresh transfer... But like my clinic keeps telling me.. At least with a FET your body has recovered from the ivf process and EPU and is not under so much stress when it gets to the transfer. I will be thinking of you as your embryos progress over the next few days and praying that you get some good ones to freeze Xx
Beau- How are you going? When is your BT?
CatyO- I can imagine after LTTTC that you would be worried / anxious about everything. Have you asked your FS to do another BT today just to put your mind at ease? I know it's crap having to wait for your scan but if you have it done now it is unlikely that they will be able to see anything on US anyway x
How is everyone else going?
AFM- The lab just called and said out of our 10 eggs 6 fertilised. They said that they want me to go to blast before freezing. She said even though we will end up with less embryo's to freeze (or occasionally none at all) that it allows the 'natural selection' process to take place in the lab and that any embryo's that don't make it to day 5 in the lab would not result in a successful pregnancy anyway if they were to freeze and transfer earlier embryos. She said the benefit of blast is that we have a much clearer picture about the reality of what we have to deal with. She said that way 'if and when' we get to transfer that we will have the best chance of doing it with an embryo that will stick. Does this all sound right? If that's the case I think I'm going to take their advice and go to blast.. She also said they will use assisted hatching on our embryo and embryo glue to increase our chances once we get to transfer..

Hummingbird - 8/6 +HPT @13dpo, 10/6 hCG 323 @15dpo!!
CatyO - 18/6 +HPT @15dpo, 19/6 hCG 325 @16dpo!!
M.I.A. - We'd love to hear from you!
If you would like to be added to The List or have your details amended, please just ask (and provide the applicable details).
CatyO try to think positive Hun! 325 is great. My level was 288 18 dpo. My levels increased as they should till week 7 - I didn't ask for my levels but at scan could tell everything was wrong. I only had bts once a week and scan at 7 1/2 weeks. I really really hope that yours is a good one & stays healthy.
Jasmine - yay for 6 fertilising that's great. My bt isn't till next Tuesday - it's still so far away!
Beau- Sooo will you be POAS or waiting till Tuesday for your BT?
I am not someone who poas - I don't even take the phone call from clinic with hcg result. I get them to ring my husband then him to ring me
Jasmine00 I'm honestly not sure at all about the blast or anything so I will let someone else let you know but good luck and yes i'm going to have picsi with assisted hatching
and embryo glue again best of luck fx xxx
Beau30 your so good you must have a lot of will power sadly i'm lacking i'm a poas addict but wishing you a bfp xxx
afm: DR's appointment tomorrow so hopefully trigger either sunday or Monday and iui next week
CatyO - my levels with DS were around 270. He is a healthy 18 month old. I also worried for every scan and appointment. Until I just got too tired to worry any more :-) and then I could enjoy everything. It is not easy to relax when you have been LTTTC. You are not alone, but your levels look fab!
Congratulations CatyO!
Beau, my FS gave me the nasal spray as a trigger because he believes that in this particular type of cycle, there is greater success rate in achieving a pg. It's still relatively new, and somewhere along the line Monash IVF will only be doing frozen transfers. I understood what he was telling me about the new treatment, except I didn't realise that once you used the spray there was no going back, ie no option for a fresh transfer.
Caty, don't stress about your level, that is a really good result. In my first two pg, my results were in the high 200.
Jasmine, thanks hun. Yay for 6 eggies fertilising!!
Rai, GL with your doc appointment tomorrow.
Hi Emma! Nice to see you around :)
AFM, the embryologist called again today to let me know the 3 embryos are doing well and are all at the 4 cells stage, which is on track. They will call me tomorrow to let me know how they are going, and ask me if I want to keep them growing to day 5. I will get in contact with my FS tomorrow morning and ask his opinion, as I would like to know what he thinks, seeing I only have 3 embies. My gut feeling is to freeze them tomorrow at day 3, and then they will assess if they are good enough to freeze. I am really hoping that they will be, as if they are not, the cycle will be all over and I will have to do it all again when we have some more money. So, so far so good, everything crossed for tomorrow's news.
Congrats CatyO! Wishing you a happy & healthy 9 months ahead. Can certainly understand your nervousness / anxiousness. Hopefully once you hear that little heartbeat it will become a little easier for you xx
Rai GL for your appt tomorrow!
Jasmine - congrats on getting 6 fertilised. Hope they all continue to grow nicely for you xxx
Beau - wishing you well for the rest of your tww xxx
MissB that's great that all 3 are doing so well. Hope they are continue doing well for you xxx
To those that have had bad news recently, hugs to you all xxx
Kerbear great to hear that you have got some support & are trying to deal with it all xxx
AFM just taking it one day at a time. No definite decisions as yet. Started taking DHEA to try to improve my eggies in case we decide to go again & will review with FS again in August to weigh up our options. Didn't think it would be useful to rush right back in without making some changes. Will give me a bit more time to try to loose a few more kg's as well & get my body & head in the right place.
Juniper could you please just put me on the list as taking a break, cheers
Joe, good luck with the DHEA Hun. I'll be interested to see how you go.
An update from me ladies, all 3 embies are doing well and are ok to freeze! I am so happy :) Today they are supposed to be 6 cells, and they are 6, 7 & 8! So the lady embryologist who called at 8.30 this morning said she was really happy with them, and that my FS happened to be there this morning and he said to freeze them today so it saves me calling him. So am relieved that at least they will be on ice today and at least I get to (hopefully) have my FET next month :)
Thanks Ladies :) lm feeling more relaxed, but anyway l had a bt today and lm just waiting for the nurses to call me.
Congratulations Miss.B!! 3 embryos is excellent!
JoeSprat, you are right, l guess l will be more relaxed once l hear the hearbeat, cant wait!!
Williever, thank you! Your words really help :)
Jasmine00 that's great!

I just got a call from the clinic and is not good news. They said the hgc increased too slow :( and l will have to go on Monday and Wednesday for bt :(
It went only from 325 Wednesday to 345 today...
CatyO - so sorry Hun! Try keep yourself sane over the weekend & fx better news next week. Xx
MissB - great news freezing the 3 day3 embies.
Joespratt - good luck with the DHEA hope it helps
Afm - don't like this waiting game!
Oh catyO :(
Look after yourself xox
CatyO, sorry to hear that, hun. It could be a warning sign that things aren't right, but there are also other potential explanations (eg lab error, vanishing twin, etc). It's hard to have to just "wait and see" and be stuck in limbo. Hoping and praying that all is well in spite of the test result.
Back home now after my lap yesterday to remove the endo and my left Fallopian tube. FS said that it was that badly inflamed that it was stuck to the side of my pelvic wall. Yuck! :( surprisingly I am feeling quite good, considering how much they did and that the last one I had I couldn't even stand up straight. Lets hope the recovery keeps going well. Feeling quite tired so no personals today as I still have to read through it all but I hope everyone is going ok :)
Thanks Catty and Beau! Feeling very relieved ATM.
Caty, I'm sorry the results are not as everyone has hoped for, I am hoping the embie has decided to have a rest and will fire up today. FX crossed hun :crossfingers::hug:
Kel, I'm glad your operation went went well hun. Rest up now and take care.
Thanks again everyone for being excited for me, I am over the moon at this point, hopefully everything keeps going to plan
CatyO FX you get better news next week. As hard as it might be try & stay strong
Kel glad to hear everything went well considering the extent of the lap. Rest up & look after yourself xx
MissB well done on getting all 3 to freeze. GL for when you get to transfer xx
Double!
Beau30, thanks for telling me how your clinic doing the Hormorne replacement cycle,I will consult the other doctor for second opinion next time. I wish you have BFP soon.
Miss.B, congratulations for your 3 frozen embryos, wish you will do well in your next transfer cycle.
Joespratt, I heard taking DHEA 75mg per day for 3 months will improve egg quality, but my FS did not recommend it to me, I'm interested to know how you are going with it.
I had a bad news- my two frozen embryos were not going well to be transferred. I received a phone call from embryologist in the early morning yesterday when I was prepared to go to do the transfer and she told me one embryo was discarded on the day defrosted and the other one was not growing anymore on day 5 (My embryos defrosted on day 3 and grew to day 5 for transfer). I was very disappointed and I called my clinic, they told me I can come to see my doctor in the afternoon of yesterday. My doctor gave me a prescription of Melatonin 4mg per day, he said recent study shows Melatonin which is a nature hormone can help improve egg quality but it hasn’t been strongly approved. He asked me to take it from yesterday and even continuing on stimulation period and after transfer. I want to do the next cycle for egg collection and my doctor said I can do it when I period come this month. Did anyone take melatonin before and how long you have to take it before IVF cycle?
Kel, I'm glad to hear it went well. Rest up and you can catch up on the goings on here when you're feeling better.
Bestrong, I'm sorry to hear your embies didn't make it to transfer. That's always horribly disappointing. I'm on 5mg melatonin for my IUI cycles. I start at the beginning of the cycle and stop at the end. My acu said that a lot of women stop after O though, so I plan to ask my FS about that when I have my IUI. I've also been told that if you take it more than 6 weeks straight your body can stop producing its own melatonin, so I'm reluctant to take that risk (since I'm already prone to insomnia).

Another pre-dawn trip to the clinic for me this morning. U/s showed 2 follicles - 1x 17mm (right), 1x 19mm (left), so trigger tonight and IUI booked for Monday morning. Lining was good (13mm) in spite of my light AF, so that's a relief. He said he wants to transplant my lining into some of his other patients (and give me their good eggs in return)...
That's good news Juniper. GL for Monday. I would swap some good eggs with you for some of your lining! If only we could!
I've woken up this morning crampy. Feels like af will show :wall:Can it show while I am still on my dosage of progynova & progesterone?
CatyO- You are in my thoughts hunny! Fingers crossed that next week brings better news... We will all be praying that it is simply a lab error or something
Beestrong- Sorry that your little embies didn't make it to transfer. Fingers crossed you have better luck with your next cycle
MissB- Well done on all 3 embies making it to freezer.. You muyst be one happy lady. Fx you only need one FET but must feel great knowing you have 3 chances :D
Juniper- oohhh 2 follies is great.. and both a nice size too! Good luck for iui on Monday x
Joespratt- Best of luck with the DHEA.
Beau- Wow lady you are doing well holding out till your BT on Tuesday! Is AF now officially overdue?
AFM- A few mixed emotions going on at the moment... The lab called after lunch yesterday with an update on our embryos. First part was great news. Initially we were told that only 6 of our 10 embryos fertilised but when they called yesterday they said we actually have 7! Apparently there was one that they were having trouble getting a clear view of under the microscope so they weren't 100% sure if it had fertilised. They put it back into the incubator for another 24 hours and checked it yesterday and said it had fertilised and progressed.. So we have 7 embies! However this is the part that worries me.. Yesterday (at day 2) we had the following..
4x 2 cell
1x 4 cell
1x 5 cell
1x 8 cell
I have read on the internet that they should be at a 4 cell stage on day 2.. So does that mean the 4x 2 cell are not going to be viable? And what is with the 5 cell.. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I thought embryos have an even number of cells  HELP
Beau- Don't stress too much about the crampy feelings honey. In my successful ivf cycle I had really bad cramps around the time AF would normally have been due and I still got my BFP. I was freaking out thinking that something was wrong but the nurse at the clinic told me it was due to my uterus stretching etc... So do not give up hope yet. I still get AF sometimes while on Crinone.. But other times it has delayed it so I guess it just depends???
Thanks jasmine - makes me feel a little better. I didn't have any cramping my last Bfp though. I assume af was due yesterday or today as I am normally 28 -29 day cycle so 14 dpo. I assume 5 days before my transfer is classified as ovulation. Sorry I don't understand about how embryos progress. Hopefully someone else can help you
Jasmine they don't always have to have an even number of cells as it just depends on which cells have divided, so in your case I guess only one of the cells has made the next division. :)
as for your two cell embies, you can never tell what's going to happen. So try to just let nature take its course. There are a couple of good ones in there so you're doing great!!
Thank you all for your comments.
Im just thinking if it could be a quemical pregnancy even if I had the last Pregnyl shot 1500 iu 10 days before...
This will be a very loooong weekend waiting for Monday to go for a blood test. Still no signs of AF and my boobs are very sore, more than the past days.
I don't really think there is a lab mistake, but I wish it was only that.
A vanishing twin? Can that be possible if they only transferred 1 embryo? I mean at the stage the embryo was, is it possible it could split?
Juniper, that sounds great! Good luck for Monday! :)
Beestrong, I am sorry that the embryo didn't make it to transfer :(
Beau, I was told the same than Jasmine00, that cramping can be just the uterus stretching.
Jasmine00 I don't really understand how embryos progress, and perhaps they just needed a few hours more to get to 4 cell stage? Lucky you have 7!
JoeSpratt good luck with DHEA!
Kel82 Im glad to hear your operation went well. Look after yourself :)
Beau, if only we could share... Sorry to hear you're not feeling confident. Cramps aren't always a bad sign. I had cramps during the 2ww of our successful IVF, same as all the BFN cycles. I felt like AF was about to start "any minute", right through the first trimester! Drove me a bit batty, to be honest...
Jasmine, sometimes they can start off slow and catch up, so there's still hope for your little 2-cell embies. :goodluck:
CatyO, another hug for you, sweetie:  Limbo (aka Beta Hell) sucks. Been through it myself and it's torture... So yet another hug for you:
Beau, I hope the AF pains are good, I had cramping around my BT with all my BFP and it was a sign of the embie digging itself a nice deep hole. GL for your BT hun x
Caty, thinking of you and keeping everything crossed for you hun x
Jasmine, the embies look great! You never know, the 2 cell ones might catch up, but there's almost always some embies that a bit slow and they drop off. It's part of the 'survival of the fittest' I suppose...GL with your lovely embies hun :crossfingers:.
Juniper woohoo for two great follies and great lining!!! I'll be thinking of you on Monday, all the best with your IUI hun xx
AFM ladies, on Friday night I noticed quite a strong acidic smell from my pee. Now, I almost always get thrush somewhere along the line during my stim cycles, but this feels different. It doesn't hurt to pee, but my poonanie stings when I wipe, and it's a bit itchy down there but mostly after wiping. So I took myself off to a chemist, and the guy says my symptoms are of a UTI. He said to get to a doc sooner than later, but when I started calling around the 3 clinics I know of, they were all closed. Should I be worried that if I live it to Monday things can get out of hand if it's an infection? I've been drinking the ural thing.
Miss.B, see how you go with the ural. If it is worse tomorrow, it'd be a good idea to find a clinic that's open, but if it's still mild you could be okay until Monday. I've never had the stinging while peeing when I've had UTIs, just an urgent need to pee frequently. I find if I hit it with the ural and some cranberry juice early, it can often sort itself out without a trip to the GP. You'll know pretty quickly if you need to see the Dr. (ps. If you'd done a transfer I'd have said to see a Dr asap just to be safe.) Hope you feel better soon.
Miss b There's a clinic near me that's open on Sundays, so if you get stuck I can give you their number. Lts and lots of water I found helps as it flushes things, but it means you go to the loo more... It's a weird anomaly as you don't want to drink cause it hurts, but you need to to keep things going IYKWIM.
I hope it gets better soon xox
Thanks everyone! I cheer myself up to do the next cycle.
Juniper-thank you very much telling me if you take Melatonin more than 6 weeks straight your body can stop producing its own melatonin because no one tells me this and I will be careful. After the cycle I will stop it. The cycle will be around 4 weeks and plus 1 week prior to the cycle so it should be within 6 weeks. Anyway, I looked on internet, one of the website tells Myo-inositol (MI) taking with Melatonin together for 3 month prior to the cycle could be associated with better egg quality. Do you know anything about this MI?
Catyo- thank you and all the best. I will pray for you..
Jasmine-Congratulations for your 7 embryos, three of them look very good (I only have 8 cells one on day3) and hope the other 4 of 2cells develop quickly.
Thanks juniper and myturn :) I don't feel the urge to pee frequently, just the stinging, and I forgot to add the slight burning, so will drink heaps of water and keep taking the ural. I forgot about the cranberry juice :wall: If I need the number for the clinic tomorrow I'll let you know myturn, thanks hun :)
Bestrong, I confirmed with my FS today that I can stop the melatonin after O, so I think I'll take it AF to O each cycle (including rest cycles), so 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. I'm not on MI, but I've heard of others using it.
