AFM, spent last night as an anxious ball as TC Olwyn went past! No damage thankfully as it was cat1/tropical low by the time it passes us, just lots of wind and rain.

Hi ladies. Well still no decision :-(
I had an intervaginal scan, fs couldn't see anything in my uterus, but sent me to qld xray as they have better scanners. My hcg levels went up from 1800 to 2100. Still not a massive increase.
Was scanned, they couldn't find anything, maybe an ectopic but that turned to be nothing.
So now I have to have another bt on Wed to see if hcg is rising. Is so then another scan to see what he can.
Has anyone heard of something similar happening with a positive outcome?
How stressful hopeful mum. Risibg hcg suggests there is still hope. Its still pretty early so maybs thats why they are struggling with the scan. Crossing everything for you. This waiting must feel like toeture.

From reading about hcg levels, surely it should be higher than it is by 7 weeks?? I realise that every person is different, just that I have a ivf buddy whose levels are over 52000, last week. And I'm only 2100 this week??
It is torture lol. TWW is a walk i the park compared to this wait. I just nee to know if there i a baby or if i should be grieving for my loss :'(

Hi girls, I thought I'd pop my head back in here. For those of you that don't know me, I'm Amy and my dh and I have a gorgeous 2 year old from our 3rd ivf attempt. We have done 3 transfer since he was born including a double transfer as out last attempt in September. We have decided it's time to get back on the horse and try again (this comes after deciding in Dec we weren't attempting ivf again and my husband buying me a convertible for Xmas - oops!). Our last frozen embryo is from our very first ivf attempt in 2010 and is a day 3, 5 cell, so its not perfect but not a total write off. Our fs has told us to attempt using it before another cycle.
Im currently cycle day 10 so we have missed this month but AF is due again just after easter.
I look forward to following your journey xx

Well lovely ladies it isn't good news ��
I got the call just after 5pm that my hcg didn't rise, went down to 2000 from 2100 on Mon. I'm booked in to see my fs/on tomorrow at 9am. Hesaid that it's not an ongoing pregnancy:-( and that he needs to find out why my body thinks it's still pregnant. On Mon no show of ectopic, but he's thinking that it might be. He wants to get some cells, which may turn into surgery for ectopic. Not bleeding or having pains.
Worried about what this means for future ivf cycles etc.
I don't think that its registered yet that I'm not having a baby. Was so over the moon and now I'm just numb.
Tubypuff, can you add me back on the list as waiting for next ivf cycle. Thank you.

Hopeful Mum. I am so so sorry. Its so devastating. Its a huge loss to mourn and that takes time. Be kind to yourself and surround yourself with love, support and understanding.
I know for me, I still have days where I feel overwhelmed by grief but graduallt these days are becoming fewer. Hope can be hard to find in this journey but its so important to find some to hold on ro when you can.
I really hope your fs can provide you with some answers and that you can find hope in the future.

Thanks for all the welcomes! I've been sitting in my office all day today looking around thinking about what I'll choose if this next cycle is successful (I own a baby shop) - yes im getting way ahead of myself!
I also worked out that if my dates are correct (I always have a 32 day spot on cycle)and the cycle is successful then the baby would be due on our sons bday, how's that for freaky timing!
Tubby puff - that would be fabulous if you could pls add me to the list :-) every other fet I've done has always been totally natural and just with the pessaries. This time my fs has put me on chlomid from day 2 - 6 so would this be classed as a medicated fet? He wants to make sure that I definitely ovulate this cycle, strange because we have male factor infertility.

Amy- that is freaking timing with the dates! I always do a "what will it be if this is the cycle" (even though I have no chance getting pg naturally) and a couple of cycles ago it would have been bang on my birthday lol

Hi gals. Apologies if this is tmi. Ive been waiting on af to start next fet cycle. Thought it was here on Mon but no, just been spotting since then. Now im all confused if af will come in a day or so or if this spotting is my bodya weird version of af this cycle. My body confuses me. On one hand I just want toget going but on another hand my nnervous. Fs said that if this cycle doesn't work then we need to more investigations which may include surgery. I think im also struggling a bit cos obe of my good friends is due around the same time my bub should have arrived. Its too hard seeing her so as bad as I feel im avoiding her for self preservation. Sorry for my long rant.

Hi ladies. Big rest up day after laparoscopy yesterday. In a bit of pain �� Haven't had a big cry yet, as I didn't want my 2yo to get upset. My partner hasn't said anything, which makes me wonder did he even want this baby?? A lot goes through the mind when loved ones don't react to something happening that devastates you... Ah well.
Good news is that I didn't have an ectopic, have to wait now for 01 Apr to see fs and get results from what he was having analyses. Will also be discussing future ivf cycle and a PGD test? For egg evaluation as to if good one or not. Apparently that will have to be in Brisbane as he can't do it in Townsville. Darn��
