Body Pillow at K Mart

Hey All,

I just bought one of those huge body pillows from K Mart for $26.99 on sale. I think thats pretty cheap? It also came with the pillow case.
In the wash now - looking forward to resting my weary body on it tonight :)

i splurged and bought mine for about $60 and i just cant use it! There isnt enough room in the bed for me, dh and the pillow!

Just a quick question for my SIL. When you say body pillow, do you mean one of the big ones that you can rest your head on and put between your legs?

Thats the ones! I had looked at the elsewhere for over $60 and that was without a pillow case. I have one of the ones you rest your belly on when you lie on your side, and they dont do much as the pregnancy progresses.
I am soooo looking forward to snuggling with this thing tonight!
I'm hanging it out to get rid of the "new pillow" smell.

Well if there aint enough room in the bed he can bugger off to the spare one. After his performance last night I wouldn't care.... Grrrr. Talk about the dog's box!

That's a great bargain Fi, i have wanted one of those pillows since i found out i was pg, but the cheapest one i found was $70 :eek:

OOOoh yay...I've wanted one, so I'm gonna have to go to K-Mart!! I'm lucky DH is tall and made of skin and bones so I take up more space with all my pillows...lol.

awww fletch! The main reason why we used to go on holidays in 5 star resorts is so we could have a king sized bed!!! :rolleyes:

I got my body pillow at Spotlight. It was $20 when I got it which I thought was great. Unfortunately it didn't come with a pillow case and to purchase the pillow case it was another $22.... more then the pillow itself LOL. But still after hearing those prices it seems $42 is cheap!!!

The Kmart price is definately a bargain!

Oh and Fletch I am desperate for a King Size bed lol. DP takes up so much room and this is without my preggo belly and body pillow!! I'd love one of those beds that have the LCD TV's in them *sigh*.

I have gone to two different kmarts, one yesterday and one today and they had sold out! they don't do rainchecks grrrr. I want one so bad! I will keep hunting for one.

Well they had heaps at our K mart - liek about 10 or so? But I'm guessing it wouldn't be too economical to post them..... Sorry!

Actually - I saw in the catelogue just now that the full retail price is going to be $44 or so, which still isn't that bad since it includes the pillowcase. I would imagine once they are normal stock they will be able to raincheck them.

I got mine at Adairs for about $40 (without a pillow case though). I have also seen them in Target.

I haven't been able to find them in my local Target or Spotlight so will try KMart tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

I went to K Mart and looked and looked and looked. Then I FINALLY found someone to help me...I tell you when you want help there's never anyone around!! The lady said she had one left earlier today (like 1 hour before I was there) and came and had a look and it was gone :crying: ...I was all psyched about it too.

I got one at Burwood! (melbourne)

And they had a few spare too!

I bought a long sponge sausage pillow from Ikea for $15. Probably not as good as the body pillow but has done the trick so far. Still gonna look in Kmart for one of these too tho, what a bargain!

Oh I am so greatful for my body pillow - my friend had her baby 5 weeks ago and let me borrow hers for as long as I need it.

I think she said it cost around $40 from pillow talk.

I am using mine already, and I am in love with it. DH tries to steal it from me in the middle of the night, and he has succeeded on more than 1 occasion. I find it much easier to drift off to sleep with it!

*pouts cos I only have a queen size bed*

I was told by some friends at work to try a boomerang pillow (you know, the curved ones). So I bought one from Big W for about $10 and it came with a cover! Anyway, the pillow works really well so far! It fits between your legs and curves up under your belly, it's quite comfy and cheap!

I got my pillow :D Oooooh I'm sooooo happy lol. I was standing there and couldn't see them for looking and was waiting for a lady to finish helping someone else when I just ran into them!! OH HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!! I didn't expect it to be packaged the way it was and so was looking for something a little different.

Hahaha...bubs must be happy too cos he/she just started doing a little happy dance....either that or I'm being told to be quiet!! rofl.

ROFL - yes Cass! My DH did it for me (he has this thing where he has to put all new things together - and I'm not arguing!) and it was so funny to watch! I reckon it took at least 5 minutes! ROFL. I wish I had taped it!

ahahah...DH did mine too!! Then we had to shake it up from the other end cos all the filling had gone to the bottom from the shaking!!

Was nice to sleep with my pillow though :D Although at one stage the cat thought it was nice for him too :eek: He got kicked off ;)

I laybyed mine at target last thursday, I went to kmart and couldn't find them anywhere and when I went to target they had heaps of them (and they were on sale normally 49.95 down to 34.95) and they come with 2 pillowcases. Sounds like getting them into the cases is going to be a bit of a task!:)

Shane ended up having to put the pillow in. Dont attempt this yourself at 30w ladies!! I nearly shook the baby out I swear!

ROFL Fi! As I watched DH struggle I thought it rather resembled trying to get the skin on a sausage! It was the funniest thing I had seen for ages!
