I have 4 boob tops 3 singlets and 1 short sleeve and I LOVE them. The singlets are great because you can wear them in summer under a lacy top and in winter you can wear them under a long sleeve top and still have easy access without too much skin showing. I found the glamour mum singlets to be quite short (dunno if they've changed... have they caro?) and for me it was as much about tummy coverage (actually moreso) than boob coverage iykwim.
*hugs*

Yeah I been looking at a few &thought that's not long enough for me in the body (I am short, but want it covered coz thats' the reason I'm looking at them...
So Boob brand cailin is your suggestion? They are longer in the body??? Easy to use?
Someone recommended a while ago the "corsierre". I goggled it & they look great. As the name suggests they are a sort of corset as well, so it holds in the post baby bulges ;)
What post baby bulges... ;)
P.S. see my WANTED thread!!!!
I bought a few bonds singlets recently on sale at around $40... the white ones are awful as you can see things like stretch marks through them, but the black ones are good ;)
I also bought some cotton on singlets for when I was pregnant that you wear under shirts, and have found when lifting up the shirt, the singlets are stretchy that you can pop them down under your boob while feeding & it hides the flab :)
I'll second the vote for the corsierre....it was me who mentioned them......yet to try them myself but a friend has them and they are really good at holding all the bits together, she says they are very accessible too.
I've just bought a booby bib and it is fantastic, i have a huge milk supply and hate wearing bras to bed, but this is fantastic and i dont wake up soaking
I paid $60 for it and am deffinitely going to buy more
It has a zipper on the front for easy access for feeding too which is great for the middle of the night feed
Thanks Melanie, I couldn't remember who it was ;)
I had a pink glamourmum, and found it reasonably long, and I am 6 feet tall and very long in the body!
Its XL though, so probably too big for you Tracey.
It was very comfy, but I actually found it hard to feed in - not sure how much of that was down to Milo though - and preferred regular crossover tops.
Actually Christy I have 2 long black singlets from Cotton on & when I was still feeding Indah I'd wera these under most tops & lift the outer top up & stretch the singlet neck part down as it was stretchy, so all was covered!! Hmm, I actually noticed that they had a huge rack of those singlets out the front for $6.50 (or there abouts) when i was at the shops on Boxing day!
Might nick back there & grab a few more, I'll steer clear of white although no stretchies yet but might seew hat other colours they have! Coz I also hate my belly getting cold in winter!!! hee hee!
Hi Tracey! I have a few different brands....I actually really like the Peppermint ones, nice and simple, I just wear a mat bra under them too. I returned my Corsierre - didn't like it much at all but that's just my opinion I guess. I got a BF dress too from the ABA site, not very comfy though for BF (it hurts your bb where you pull it up!)
Thanks Soph... I'll have a look... although if I can get away with the Cotton on ones it might just be easier & cheaper!!! LOL...
I have a BOOB top that I got off Ebay. I love it!
I also got Freshmums dress. Don't love it as much. Its a comfortable dress & looks good but I don't like the inbuilt shelf bra. When You lift the elastic to get to your boob, your left with a very tight bit of elastic across the top of your breast & I would think it would be a hazard for blocked ducts etc. I have altered mine so I am not needing to lift that elastic to gain access. Much better!
eta: Ahh is that the freshmums one??

Oh yes yes yes FionaJill that's the dress! Was thinking about altering it too. How did you do it? Just snip the elastic????
No what I did was cut along the top of the elastic so that the 2 layers became seperate. You know how the shelf bra part has the inside layer with the holes to place the breastpads in & then the top layer. Well I cut along the front from the side seams as close to the elastic as possible. Then I sewed a thin looser bit of elastic to the top layer I just cut. I added the thinner elastic so that it still sat snug under my boobs when its not in use, Just so it still sat neatly. So I now just lift that top layer & poke my boob through the hole. Although I think I will need to make the hole bigger, my nipples don't sit as low as the holes.
If your not sure what I mean I will take a pic & email you if you like.
Tracey forgot to tell you, if you join the ABA you get a discount on feeding tops at the ABA shop in malvern, its worth the travel :)
*hugs*
Cailin
You get 10% discount as an ABA member but your first mothers direct (the aba store) purchase will give you a 15% discount. Usually if you order online & your a member, your 10% discount results in free postage.
oh thats a great deal!! I wish I could get my ABA rep in my area to phone me back now :(.
What are you waiting on Christy? Can I help?
I bought two breastfeeding tops from target, a red and a black one and they re really nice, they have a V front with a boob chube(?) looking band underneath and it is slit underneath the V on either side. So easy to feed with I wear them everywhere.
Target! really? I will have to have a look!
Has anyone seen any that would fit larger women? Most sizes (even extra large) only go up to like about a size 16. Bit annoying!
Also, do they accomodate bigger boobs?
I am pretty sure the FreshMums range has larger sizes. google them.
OOOh I'll have to have a look see in Target too!
Deb, I am already in DD bra's again!!!!
Thanks Fiona :) I'll have a look-see.
Trace - I reckon I'm an F cup normally so I'm probably cruising for at least a G! None of those "hidden support" type tops are big enough to hold my bazoombas in! LOL
Maybe a target plastic bag over your shoulder will hold em in Deb... ;)
I was a GG with maddy I know your pain!!!!
Well...I'm a C now, how impressive am I! Wow you girls.
Anyway, to the topic at hand, I LOVE my booby bib for sleeping in (I have two, 1 older style which is short and a new style which is longer), it's just soooo much comfier than a bra to bed.
Also, I have a Freshmums singlet, and mine doesn't have elastic in the shelf bit, there are snaps along that part. It's not too obvious that there's a shelf bit, but when I've wanted to hide it, I've worn a short sleeved bolero top over it (that's what they're called right? The short cardigan things?).
I would recommend the stretchy tops too (got mine from Giordano), I've got a singlet that pulls under my boobs, clings to my body now, BUT also fit me at 9 months pregnant too! Those Gio tops are super stretchy, so I wore them while pregnant and they fit me snugly now (and I'm about a 10 now?).
I'd also recommend the bolero (if that IS what it's called) since being short, it fits despite a big belly!
Anyway, I'm rambling now. Hope you find stuff that works for you!
LMAO!
I think those hidden support / shelf bra tops are crap! I am a 12 DD & shelf bras do NOTHING for me. I bought a couple of Boob tube type singlets. They were basically single tops with out straps. I had to give them to my sister as she is smaller in the tits LOL (I love rubbing that in too her). Mine where just to heavy & the top just didn't sit right. I only bought them to sleep in, I thought they would be good to hold breast pads in place with out a bra. But it just didn't work.
Yeah I've got no idea how those shelf ones would go with you bosom-ful ladies :P
I reckon the Booby Bib might still work okay for night times, if your boobs are the leaky sort.
I have looked at the booby bibs & one question I have. It has a zipper down the center, But to me it doesn't look that long a zipper. Is acsess to your boobs easy? It looks awkard to me??
 I just bought some singlets at supré with a button where the shoulder strap joins - just like a breast feeding singlet or bra but only $15 - bargain!!!
WOOOO HOOO Thanks dach there's a Supre' store near us!!! I'll have to check it out!
another shop i will have to look in!
I'm a C upto a DD when full of milk!
BOOBY BIBS - AWESOME!!
the zip seemed small when I first bought them, but as they have been worn a bit more I just unzip and push the top under my boob. If you leak ever at night they are SO good.
LOVEABLE:
I've got the loveable singlets but I don't think they give fantastic support (although very very comfy!) They are very easy to use but do tend to expose the whole breast. I went down a size(!) to a 10 and they supported a lot better than my size 12's.
BOOB
I bought a large Boob brand t-shirt which I think is so practical it hurts, but I'm pretty sure you are meant to wear a bra under it? I find it great from an access point of view - just daggy.
COTTON ON:
I think I put Christy onto this idea - only prob can be hot wearing that AND a t-shirt
The best top I bought on a Singapore site, Mums in mind (OWW my baby just bit my boob!!)
Ebay seems to have a good range too.
Daggy?!?!?! I have never found that LOL but I don't use them as tops iykwim I usually use them under something else. But then none of the breastfeeding tops that are a certain fashion have never appealed to me so for me this was the easiest choice. I don't do colour and certainly not some of the freaky patterns I've seen in breastfeeding tops LOL! But each to their own ;)
I find them practical and plain but thats something I looked for... if you're wanting the latest fashions in breastfeeding tops then thats not something Boob offers LOL! But I put my latest fashions over the top ;) Especially my wrap dresses & tops works great with them. And my lacy stuff.
*hugs*
Cailin
The Boob top I have is a top top with sleeve etc, not a singlet style. Its more the colour of mine that is a bit daggy, I got from Ebay & thoght it was a darker colour then it is. its kind of a coffee colour.
Oh yeah Fiona, I thought the zipper looked too short too, but I haven't had any probs with it. If you wanted the zip to open to a bit lower, you could adjust the straps to make the top a bit lower cut if you needed.
Hmm...thanks for that Dach, might have to pop into Supre then!
Ihad a look in Target today. I found the tops that Dach mentioned. But only in white & they didn't sit that nice on me & the white didn't leave much to the imagination.
I also seen the tops in supre', but I didn't really like them.
