Gold Coast playgroups??

Hi everyone i have decided that my new years resalution is to get out of the house more and meet other mothers my daughter is 8 months and i have only been on the Gold Coast 2 years. Im from Ireland so i dont know many people at all. .Any suggestions where there is a good play group ?:frown:

I don't know of any playgroups but there are a bunch of us from the Gold Coast so we should just go ahead and start one! It is a bit hot to go to parks so maybe we could meet at Smileez or Abrikidazzle or a shopping centre?

Where abouts on the Gold Coast are you? We have a GREAT bunch of girls with kiddies from about 3 weeks to 6 years...how old is your little one/s?? and we are between 21 and 27 years (i think). How old are you?
We should definitely arrange something so we can all meet up. The kids just adore playing with their little friends. My little man met Rachels little girl today and he hasnt stopped talking about her! LOL. So cute......

ohhh I have just moved from Mudgeeraba about two weeks ago! haha. I am now in Upper Coomera but I am down that way nearly every day because my Mum and Dad live in Tallai and because it just feels like home down there ;) Where in Mudgee are you?? I am 27 and have two little boys who are 3 and 1.
I will have a chat to the other girls and see what we can work out :)

It would be good for us all to get together. I'm putting Faith into day care soon as I'm going back to work and I think she'd love a little time before hand playing with the kids. Again, I don't know where you want to meet.

Has anyone heard of Kels Club House? It in Southport/Moldeniar/Parkwood area. Its like an Abrakaddazzle but different. It has a web site like kels club house or something. Check it out and we'll see what we can do otherwise.

I actually went back to Mudgeeraba where we were before we moved here. I wanted to try him out in a Montesorri system and see how he goes. Have you been to the big one on Brygon Creek Rd? I went in there yesterday, and although I wasnt terribly impressed with the staff, they seemed to have a few places. It was just a bit hectic for me. Otherwise, there is a new one being built and will be open by mid year just up the road from me. They have a number on the notice board. Maybe you can try ringing them?

Yup Mon or Tues would be great for me too. I will have to see where Ms Rachel is! I havent heard from her in a while. Her little girl goes to day care and I cant remember what days, so I will have to suss it out.

Lol Gill, i don't have a bath but i do have a kiddies pool which Mya & i have been lazying about in lately. The zooper doopers r a great idea! i actually have sum in the fridge already....hmmm wonder if its to early for one now

Hi Girls im Sydney staying with Will parents for the weekend .We are going back to the coast today driving!!! not looking forward to it .so have you's piced a day we could meet up?

10am tues is good for me. We should change the location each time tho because we r all in different parts of the goldie. I can get anywhere,it doesn't bother me driving. The park Gill mentioned at palmy is great. Claire & i went there once. There is also a simalar one at broadbeach which is really good. I don't know about the ones up at Coomera, but i'm sure theres some great ones up there aswell.
So any decision is fine with me :)

i am very interested in joing a play/mothers group. my daughter is 2yrs old and i am having another on 1st march(possible earlier if doc thinks im to big). . i am from upper coomera and do not know where to start looking.
i am 30years old and the only one of my friends with children. my daughters name is chyna. i have 4 neices and 1 nephew but would love to meet other mums in the area.
i am giving up work in the next week so will have some free time after the baby is born.

I have a 20month old DD & will very soon have a little boy aswell......i may not even make it to next tuesday, well thats what i'm trying to tell myself, wishful thinking maybe:)

Yeah the park at Palmy on tuesday sounds great. If anyone doesnt know where it is ill find the address and post it on here. Its a great fenced kids park. If anyone needs a lift just let me know.

Bec do you use msn? We all generally keep in touch that way. It makes things a bit easier :)
