Let's meet this weekend! =)

hi all!

i've newly moved back to brisbane (coorparoo) and would love to start networking with other mum's asap... i will be heading to Southbank this weekend for a picnic and i'd love all of you to come along so we can share good company, yummy food and let the kids play with each other.

i suggest we meet at the new childrens water feature in southbank, it's right next to the atificial beach... at around 1 pm.... on the grass beside the water. i'll bring a big green blanket and have a blue hat on so don't be afraid to come and say hello! :)
it'd be great if we could all pitch in- so feel free to bring along a blanket to sit on, hats, togs (no, us mum's don't have to swim) and something yummy to share with the group.

i really hope lots of you can make it along!! (don't be afraid if your running late, we'll be there for the afternoon)

Nelly...what's wrong with the weather??? It's sunny right now...oh, hang on, it's pouring...oh, it's stopped...it's blowing a gale now....oh, oh....sun's out!

The weather is INSANE!!!! Jake and I were out playing this morning in the sun out came sun hat and sunscreen and 20 mins later we were being blown flat by the wind and soaked by the torrential rain... WTF??????????

Oh hang on sun is back .... have had towels on line for a week and still not dry!

So...does this tell me you girls are keen to meet up one weekend?

Ok, where has a nice indoor kids playground? I know Hyperdome does but that might be a bit far for some. Anywhere more central? Does Westfield Carindale have one? At least if we organise an inside meet we won't have to cancel because of the weather :)

What about Lollipops Springwood? Too far out???

ummm...I thought this was a weekend meet up. You'll have to count me out.

Tomorrow i'm going to the gym at Hyperdome from 8.30 till 10.30 then we're heading over to the play place at Springwood around 11'ish if anyone wants to join us :)

we've decided to to move to the other end of the world closer to DH work - he is at Brendale - so we are moving to North Lakes. Happened really quickly our lease is up 4th Feb and I got back from Sydney Saturday, application approved and picked up keys Monday. Noice big house tho.... no more postage stamp bathroom, gaps in the floorboards... you know how old qlders can be.

Wow, good luck with the move though it sucks you're so far away :(

North Lakes....sheesh...oh well, it'll be a nice drive out there!!
