I am feeling pretty gutted at the moment. I just had an appt with the gynae for review.

She told me that the blood tests indicated that I didn't ovulate this cycle (on Clomid). Also, my husbands's repeat sperm analysis showed low concentration, low motility and high number of abnormalities. She said with his results that it would be extremely unlikely for us to be able to conceive without IVF. So, she's given me a prescription for provera to bring on AF, and 100mg Clomid (since the 50mg wasn't doing the trick) to see if I ovulate. But she's also given me a referral to an IVF specialist (Dr Bob Watson). I sobbed the entire way home in the car, and now I have a headache (which I always get after crying hard).

To make it worse, the receptionist at the gynae's (who, by the way, is very nice and very friendly) said to me 'well, you just need to relax and then it will happen' :fuming: How ridiculous. Do you think I would be seeing a specialist if I just needed to relax. I'd go to a bloody health farm :evil:

I am just feeling so so sad :cry: We can't afford IVF at the moment. We've only just taken out private health insurance, and won't be eligible for anything until December this year, so now I'm facing a whole year of waiting (makes the TWW seem tiny!). Before I knew I had fertility problems, DH and I had always talked about having a big family, because I grew up in a big family and loved the feeling of love and support of having lots of siblings. We were planning on 4-6 kids. Now, it seems like it's going to be a struggle just to have 1.

How do you keep going on when the life you foresaw for yourself doesn't eventuate. I can't keep going working in my job for the rest of my life. It has no meaning for me. It might seem like I'm jumping the gun, but I'm struggling imaging a life where I may never have children, and I don't think I could handle it. I'm just so so sad, and I don't know what to do to make it feel any better.

Sorry for being a sad sack guys ... but I really just needed to vent to someone.

Oh Cherie :hug: I know how you feel. It is so disheartening when an already sucky situation takes a turn, however I am here to tell you these is one shining light in all of this... Bob Watson.. he is my specialist and an absolute sweetheart. He will help you. My sister saw him and she has 18month old twins and has since fallen pg naturally due in May.
I know it sucks but don't lose hope. Maybe we will cross paths at Bobs office. BTW I'm Sheree too!!!!!

Cherie - I am sorry to hear you are feeling so down. It really makes you feel terrible when you think that you might not be able to have what you have always dreamed of. I am sending you big hugs :hugs: It looks like we might be riding the IVF bandwagon together!

Shez - I hope all those symptoms are wrong :crossfingers:.......sometimes I wish I were a boy - it would be so much easier, they don't have to try and interpret wacky things their bodies are doing!!

I am off to the specialist myself next week to organise a referral for IVF, and then we have the lovely task of asking my dh's work to transfer us to Darwin so we can actually do the IVF (we live in the sticks currently). The thought of having to share something so personal with his bosses freaks me out, but what can you do?

Cherie :hug: I am so sorry to hear about your news. It is devistating and it will take time to come to terms with but there are many of us in the same boat. Try not to focus too much on what might be, none of us know what is in store yet and your new IVF specialist sounds like he comes well recommended.

Cherie, I totally understand where your coming from!! You feel like your heart keeps getting broken. You feel like there won't be any light at the end of the tunnel. Vent as much as you need. Get it all out of your system. I can assure you, my DH has had about enough of me today! I feel AF is coming so I'm setting myself up for failure and he just doesn't get it. I told him I just want you to be there but don't talk because when he tells me "relax, it's going to be ok"..I feel like hurting him! I keep telling him actions speak louder than words... I'll [-o< for you tonight!

Sheree, to be quite honest I don't know when they are coming anymore they are seriously all over the joint. AF came on the 11th of last month. Had transfer on the 1st of this month and getting tested on the 10th. I feel like they are going to come tonight! I'm just sick of this crap! I want GOOD news!! We all deserve some GOOD news soon!!

Sam, wishing you all the best for next week! Telling the bosses could be a good thing in giving your DH enough time of work to go with you to your appointments. And your right, I'm coming back as a boy in my next life!!

Hey girls, I don't know that I officially belong in this thread as not TTC right at this moment (not by choice) but have been TTC #1 for just on 12mths. Have been following posts recently and felt i had to reply to Cherie's last vent. I soooo know how you feel and as the other girls have mentioned you are definitely not on your own. Life just seems so cruel to those who deserve better. There is not one woman in this thread that will not make a fabulous mum and yet we are all being denied what should be a fairly simple, natural wish. Not that I deny anyones right to have children, its just that some people do not realise how lucky they are or perhaps really appreciate the true miracle of pregnancy/birth - I am REALLY losing my patience hearing whinging over m/s, the sex of their baby or recently, great distress over the expected star sign of an as yet unborn baby!!!
So to Cherie and all of you great ladies -we WILL do this together, we WILL all be holding bubs in arms some time soon.
As for my story, I will try and keep it brief but I hope to join in here properly soon so i will share now.Also need to keep myself busy tonight as going in for surgery tomorrow and quite anxious.
Went off the pill this time last year -several months later still no AF. Saw my GP who did premliminary tests and gave me refferal to specialist. By the time I could get in to see specialist I had actually had an AF so I cancelled thinking I would be wasting her time. 6-8 weeks later only had a very brief, odd AF so rebooked appt. By the day of appt had actually started a more "normal" AF. Dr thought i just had unexplainable anovulation so was started on Clomid 25mg that same day and booked for follicle/general scan 9 days later. Had never had a scan before but being a vet am familar with ultasounds and did think something was odd quite quickly -am floored when the scanner asks if i could possibly be pg as I have a sac measuring 4w 2 d plus an active corpus Luteum!! Turns out I was pg even prior to the Dr visit but the amazing joy turned to hell 2 weeks later when I discovered I was going to m/c. My body was not prepared to let go easily so ended up needing D&C.
I was devastated but jumped back on the proverbial rollercoaster to try again. 2 rounds of clomid later with higher dose and pregnyl tirgger we got another BFP. Was so excited this time around as everything was just so perfect -great HCG/prog levels which were rising fabulously and I started to feel all the pg symptoms by 5-6 weeks. Scan at 7 weeks was one of the worst days of my life -baby was the right size and everything but no heartbeat and lots of bleeding around the sac. Had my second D&C on new years eve !! Was near hysterical for a few days and still an emotional wreck weeks later . Since then have never fully recovered -needed another D&C 11/1/06 (up to no 3 now!) due to retained placenta, was on three antibiotics and have had so many blood tests I can't keep track. Found out last week that the baby was a little girl and genetically normal (chromosome analysis) so the problem all lies with ME! Jeez, the burden of resposibilty we woman have in regard to reproduction is really hitting me at present. So, anyway, (sorry have just realised how much I have been rambling on) am going in for the complete "look around" tomorrow -laparoscopy/hysteroscopy/dye studies etc. Hopefully they will fix anything that needs fixing but i guess they may find nothing and I will just have to accept the unexplainable again.
Regardless, I am desperately hoping that soon after this we can at least start TTC again so I can be doing something positive. Will probably be onto puregon/pregnyl injections next time which doesn't bother me too much. i have realised now that I would go through just about any physical suffering myself so long as there is a baby at the end of it!!
So, so sorry, have really rambled on but I tend to do that when nervous. Hope I can chat with you all again soon about more exciting prospects. Good luck to everyone for upcoming testing/BDing or treatments.

Meredith I just read your post and thought I had better share something with you.

I read an article in UK medical journal which suggested that women who suffer from recurrant miscarriage, should have a significant break of about 6 months before even trying again, to make sure the body is in the best possible condition eady for pregnancy. the miscarriage is traumatic for the body and the uterus needs time to recover and then get back to a condition good enough for supporting a pregnancy.

Me personally, I would probably be like you, desperate to try again as soon as possible, but I thought I'd share that with you, as I found it interesting.

BTW a friend of mine had a m/c at 13 wks and waited nearly a year before getting pregnant again. She tried hard for the last 6 months of that time and did have a 6 month break, she now has a 15 month old girl, so you see there is hope for you

Meredith - good luck with the lap today. I had one on Friday last week and they are a good thing to have out of the way. I was lucky that my tubes were clear and everything inside the uterus looks OK I just had pesky old endo removed again. Miscarriage is heartbreaking, I had one almost two years ago now and I was just on the phone to my sister who I am very close to who has just started to miscarry at 9 weeks, she had been in accident and emergency all night and is now heading off for an ultrasound, poor thing. She had another at the end of October last year so she is having a terrible run. I'm sitting here like a useless fool as she lives 2 hours away and I cant drive to see her or do anything to help.

Cherie - how are you feeling today? I hope your headache went away and that you had a good nights rest, it's hard isn't it?

Question: Has anyone undergone microinjection thru IVF and what is the success rate. RE: abnormalities etc.

I have a very close friend who is just starting her first round of IVF using microinjection and I told her i would ask you wonderful ladies to see if i could get some general info

Hi special child,

I have been hovering around this thread but haven't joined in before but thought I'd put my two bobs in re "special child's" question for her friend. Do you mean ICSI when you talk about microinjection? If so, we have just completed our second IVF round using ICSI for the first time, where they microinject the sperm into the eggs. Even though I had endometriosis removed a few years ago and DH and I had been on an all natural fertility diet for a year we still hadn't conceived, so we thought we'd give IVF a go. Because we were so healthy we were sure that IVF would be the answer to our prayers. However on our first round of the 15 eggs they extracted from me, absolutely none fertilized. Zip, zilch, zero... we couldn’t believe it. And to make matters worse they called it unexplained infertility - in others words, they could find nothing wrong with our eggs and sperm, they just didn't seem to like each other very much. :cry: Anyway, with much fear and trepidation we embarked on our second round of IVF and this time we used ISCI. Lo and behold of the 16 eggs they retrieved all of which were injected with a single sperm, eight fertilised. We were stoked. We had been given our hope back. Anyway, I am now in the TWW with two little embies hopefully burrowing away in side me. Hopefully it will be a BFP on Feb 17 but if not, I still have some little frozen embryos of hope awaiting my next round. So I would recommend ICSI to anyone because even though I can't vouch for the end result I feel SO much better than even a glimmer of hope has been restored.

In regards to statistics of success rates and abnormalities, the clinic I am with, Fertility First in Sydney say that the success rate is the same as with a normal IVF cycle and as these statistics all seems to differ from clinic to clinic and age group to age group, I have given up listening to statistics. I figure as long as there is hope it's worth a shot! The one thing you do tend to hear is that they can't confirm the reproducitive health of ICSI children but there is no conclusive evidence that it has anything to do with ICSI and it may just be a genetic thing that the child inherits from the parents, who are after all obviously infertile.

I hope this helps. I'm sure your friends clinic can give her more details on statistics etc but if she's anything like me she probably forgets to ask all the important questions when she's at the clinic and gets home and thinks, what about this? What about that? That's why I love bellybelly!

Just thought I would drop in and let you know that the wicked witch AF reared her ugly head today... one word to explain how I'm feeling and that is DEVASTED!

Spoke to the clinic and they still want me to come in for my blood test on Friday to check my hormones. Right now, I don't know if I can emotionally and physically go through this again... whens enough, enough?!?!

I haven't stopped crying...why why why!!

I understand how devastated you're feeling - I'm sure many of us here do...and yet your pain probably feels like no-one else's right now.

Just found out a very good friend is pregnant again. Been off BC for 2 months! I thought I'd feel gutted, but I'm actually really happy for them....does make me think, what have I done to deserve this roller coaster of some almost 2 years now......

It makes me sad to see that you are all having the same struggles I too am having. You all so much deserve a BFP and some relief from all of the side effects both emotoionally and physically. It is so unfair!
I too know what you all mean regarding the not knowing what is happening next....Its like you kind of loose control of you body and even your future plans.
As hard as it is to stay positive, at least by having all of these things going on, it gives the professionals a great deal of insight into how we all work and therefore ideas on how to make it work.

Janee is right your heart will tell you, but for the time being take it easy and try to get some rest. It might be worth taking to someone about your feelings, I know it has certainly helped me in the past and certainly helps you plan for the future as much as that is possible.

Oh starbright hunny :hug: I can only imagine how devastated you must feel. I am so so sorry that AF showed up and I wish I could do something to make it all better for you. How is your DH coping?

SamT - thanks for your thoughts. I can imagine how you must be feeling a bit reticent about telling your DH's boss about your IVF plans. Do you need to go into detail, or could you just say that you need medical procedures that are not available where you're currently living? I hope the transfer goes smoothly for you .. that would be one less stress at least.

Shez - I'm so glad to hear that Bob Watson comes highly recommended. I know it sounds weird, but I've never had a male doctor before, and especially not for anything as personal as fertility, so it's important to me that it's someone I can feel comfortable with. I hope we do cross in the waiting room ... only I hope you've got a big beautiful bump when we do!

Jane - one of your sentences 'try not to focus too much on what might be' was just a lightbulb for me ... that is exactly what I have been doing, and it's been tying me in knots. It's easier said than done not to do it, but thanks for making me aware of it .... awareness is the first step.

MeredithD - thank you so much for your post too. How did your lap & hysteroscopy go today? Did they find anything, or is it still 'unexplained'? I'm feeling a little better today. I woke up with a migraine this morning .. which always happens when I've been crying the previous day. So I took the day off work sick, and booked in for a much-needed massage this arvo. I'm feeling nearly human now.

Cherie - I am glad my saying that helped, I did hope it didn't come out the wrong way. I have been guilty of thinking way ahead of myself on more ocassions that I care to remember but I must say I am getting better at it these days. It just about took my breath way when you mentioned not wanting to stay in your job forever and all your plans being taken away as I have felt that exact way. I have actually made a pact with DH that if we dont get pregnant in the next couple of years I am going to leave my job and go back to uni to do some postgraduate study (I am finishing an arts degree part time at the moment). The counsellor I went to see about all this made me realise that you need to be happy whether or not you fulfill the dream of having a baby. I will say though some are ready to work on this sooner than others and sometimes this is just way too hard to deal with. The best thing we can do is focus on keeping our thoughts in the present and think of what we can do now to fulfill our goals. I am glad to hear you are feeling better and hope that the migraine goes away soon.

Meredith - Welcome! I imagine you have had your surgery by now, I hope everything went really well, and that you have a speedy recovery. Hopefully you will have some answers and with a bit of luck your ttc journey will not last too much longer.

Jane - I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I am glad to hear your lap went well, hopefully now the endo is gone ttc might be easier :luck:

Patient Rose - Fingers crossed for Feb 17 :crossfingers: , I hope you get your BFP.

Starbright - I am sorry to hear AF showed up. I know there is not much we can say to make you feel better, but if you need to just vent vent vent! We are all hear to listen and we understand. :hugs: I am sending lots of hugs your way.

Janee - Thanks for sharing your fortune cookies, I love positive thoughts like those - I have the exact same saying "your plans are going to succeed" from a fortune cookie stuck on my fridge! I also have one that says "if your desires are extravagant, they will be granted".......I wonder if wanting to fall pregnant is extravagant!!!!

Caryn - You are so right, we all deserve that BFP, and sometimes it seems so unfair. I think we are all so lucky to have each other to lean on because we all UNDERSTAND, and it is so important to have that.

Inspiration - I hope you enjoyed your day off and massage and that you are feeling better. I think there should be some government funded thing for women to have a free massage when AF shows up to cheer us up! Talk about putting tax dollars to good use, ha ha! Unfortunately we will have to tell them that it is for IVF, because they don't just give out transfers before your 2 years here is up unless you have a good reason, but dh assures me everything will be ok. I am just going to let him do all the talking because I can't even talk to my best friend without crying, I get sooooo emotional.

I am thinking of you all and I hope the next month is a better month for us all. :flower:

Hi Cherie - glad to hear the massage did the trick and boosted your spirits, even if just a little. I so understand what you're saying as I've thought the exact same things. I've never wanted anything more than to be a Mum to a big brood of kids, but I'm almost 38 and wondering if it's ever going to happen at all. This is one of the toughest journey's a woman can go through but at least for me it makes such a difference being able to share my joy and pain with all the wonderful women here. :flower:

Hi Sam - good luck with the transfer to Darwin. I had to finally tell my boss about my IVF late last year because I needed so many extra scans and time off work. Boy was it difficult but it has taken some weight off my shoulders now that I'm not worrying about what to tell him. Still a bit awkward tho - as it is something very personal.

Hi Meredith - so sorry to hear about your struggles. Here's hoping the surgery goes well and there is some good news down the track for you - you definitely deserve it. Take care.

Cherie: Sweets I feel for you and DH, people say the most insensitive things. Especially when they all add there 2c in like wanting to know if you bd enough or my fvourite eat parsley...yup that would do the job. Stay strong and see the specialist just to talk and plan what you feel confortable with. I hope life gets alittle easier.
Star: I'm sorry AF found you, it never gets any easier. Poor DH-DP
do tend to take the brunt of our emotions we tend to lash out at the ones that we know will love and forgive us..Hugs

Hello girls -thankyou all so much for the best wishes.
Well, had my lap etc yesterday. Had to stay overnight so have not been home long but can't seem to sleep despite major tiredness.so thought I would come in here for a chat.
I must be starting to sound like a drama queen but truly, nothing with me can ever be straight forward!! Was scheduled for surgery at 2.30pm but also had to go in the morning to have HCG level done just to be sure I wasn't pg again- even though I was 99% sure I wouldn't be (My doc is very paranoid given the issue with my first pg when I was put on clomid without a prior preg test -said she definitely didn't want to go in and see a little sac -fair enough!!)
So had the blood taken then arrived at 2.30pm to be told I was 5th on the list and doc was still in with no 1 -doh -several hrs waiting, waiting. Finally, my turn and doc has the pre surgery chat etc -was literally ready to go in when she goes off to call about the bloods -HCG level 21! So now she's telling me she won't do surgery in case I am very early pg. You would think I would be happy but I just knew i was not og (trust your instincts girls!) and was sure must still be related to my last m/c. Doc was not convinced seeing as m/c was 6 weeks ago and my 2nd D&C was 4 weeks -she really just wanted me to go home and have another HCG in 2 days. I am not the sort to kick up a fuss but was really distressed -I had organised time off work (not easy!) and geared myself all up for surgery especially since I had been sitting around for over 3hrs stewing!! Begged for an u/s to at least see if i had recently ovulated -too late all closed! Finally we both came up with ringing the lab and getting an HCG done on some blood I had taken last week. So, more waiting whilst the remaining patients went in and I was left on my lonesome wondering why I wasn't actually excited by the prospect of a +ve HCG -just couldn't allow myself that little glimmer of hope..
Turns out my levels a week ago were 35 so likely is still just dropping from my previous pg. Even after two D&Cs - 6 and 4 weeks ago -you'd think it would be over by now!
So, from being ready to get dressed and go home -doc literally grabs me and we are straight off to theatre.. She IS really a lovely doc but by now its 6pm and I think was keen to go home herself ! We arrive at theatre door to find the lights are off, music blaring and my anaesthetist plus nurses are dancing and singing around the room!! Guess medical staff get bored too! Doc was quite shocked but I thought it was hilarious .We all had a good chuckle and helped lighten my mood.
Good news is that my reproductive bits are all fine -My uterus is slightly odd shaped (love heart shape apparently which I take as a good omen!) but nothing that would explain the m/c's. There was signs of where i had the reatained placenta so poss explains my persistent cramping but no extra tissue, scarring etc. Also no evidence of PCOS or endometriosis and tubes are clear. Took some biopsis to look for "natural killer cells" so will see what that shows but so far there appears to be no reason why I shoudn't be able to carry a baby - i'm just not! Am dissapointed not to have any answers but not that suprised and will just have to accept the unexplainable I guess.
Was totally out of it after the surgery and the only one left in recovery at 9pm so they sent me up to a ward o/n -had to share a room with a snoring granny!! Poor DH stayed with me until I was vaguely conscious at 11pm and was back again at 7am -he is more sick of hospitals than me!Pain not too bad -shoulder/neck pain is sctually worse than the abdominal -apparently refferd pain from the diaphragm due to the gases they use to inflate abdo cavity during lap.
Doc came to see me this morning -went over the above fidnings and On an even better note she is happy for us to TTC again quite soon. Will just have to wait until HCG levels are below 5, then I will be back into ovulation induction. This time going to try puregon injections. Clomid obviously worked to get me pg but it can thin your uterine lining and we want every chance at the best possible implantation. Will also be having Clexane injs once we fall pg. She did warn that with this protocol there is even higher risk of multiples -20% twins, 5% triplets. Not so sure re the triplets but twins DH and I would be quite happy with!

Starbright - I am so sorry to hear AF has shown -our problems may differ but I certainly understand the journey you are enduring. Please don't give up hope. I feel total hoplessness several times a day and constantly wonder how much more I can take but the prize at the end will be so worth every ounce of suffering.
Cherie Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better -hope the massage eased some of the stress. I am currently seeing a chinese acupuncturist -think this helps my stress levels.
Sam -hope the work transfer all pans out. I have had a stressful time with my boss and all my pg issues -was very honest and told him upfront everything going on in my life -he has not been particularly "sensitive" about it all but I have gotten over it . There are far more improtant things in life than a job -we can always find work but there is not a lifetime to have children.
Rose - Best wishes on a little sticker!!

Hi guys hope all is well. I have had a bad afternoon I swear I am not pulling some wierd joke. As some of you will recall my cousin (mum's brothers daughter, 34) took her own life last week due to PND. Well yesterday my 2nd cousin (mum's sister's daughters daughter, 13!!) took her life the same way. I can't believe it. I am still in shock 13!! I again wasn't terribly close to her as she also lives in NZ but it still hurts.
My family really doesn't need anymore bad news.
Hopefully this time next week I can have some happy news to share.
I also feel bad that my mum will be flying to NZ by herself again. If I wasn't in the TWW I would go with her.

Wow Meredith – what a drama! I did have a bit of a giggle at your description of the dancing medical staff though LOL. I’m glad to hear that there’s no sign of PCOS or endo. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the puregon and clexane will do the trick for you. Honestly, every time I hear that something has an increased risk of multiples, it just makes me want it more 8-[ . I’m sure mums of multiples would love to talk me out of that … but having trouble having just one makes you think that two would be one less round of TTC to go through, if that makes any sense at all.

Bec – thanks for enlightening me ;) I should have been eating more parlsey all along … I didn’t realize LOL. When do you think you’ll start trying for #2. Is there a minimum period that you have to wait after giving birth before trying IVF again?

Marg – you’re right. It is one of the toughest journeys .. I’m so glad that, if I have to go through it, that I am going through it with you and the other girls here on BB.

What a horrible, heartbreaking thing to be going through. 13!!! That is so so young. What a sad thing :hugs:

Shez, so sorry to hear such horrible news. It is truly tragic that anyone should be so depressed to take their own life but at 13 - gosh, how could life be so bad for a 13yr old. Love to you and your family and hoping this is the end of all the sad news .

Hey guys, Just wanting to know if i would be welcome back in here for a short time. I know that I havent posted much in here over the past few months following our failed IVF attempt. Just wanted to get to know you all again and give you all some hope and encouragement.

Praying for you all and hope that you will all be into the pg ark really really soon.

The ttcaml thread is getting smaller and smaller which is a great thing but it is also getting quieter and quieter which means i am finding it hard to chat at times when i need to.

I am off to see the fertility specialists again tomorrow after having a few months break from them and trying natural stuff.

unfortunately the natural stuff hasnt helped so i am off to demand clomid and a prog test to see if i do ovulate or not.

im hoping the road is not too much longer..im hanging by a thread!!!

So SO sorry. I've been MIA for the last week. I tell you, when things are happening, the weeks just fly past. I did post on Tuesday (a big long post) but it got lost. I was so cross coz i couldn't retrieve it and i had sat here typing and pouring my heart out for ages and then it was gone. The upside i suppose it that i got everything off my chest. So today you will get the short version in what has been happening with me.

Firstly i wanted to say to Shez how sorry i am to hear about your other cousin. It is even harder when they are so young.

Well Sunday night i ended up in hospital due to a huge gush of blood and DH was a bit concerned, so he rang the hospital and they told him to bring me up just in case. So that was a bit scary. (although, I may be pulling at straws, that was the night after the 2 year anniversay of my little angel, so maybe that was why??? Anyone believe in fate?)

I had my Fasting Gloucose Tolerance Test on Monday (2 hours and 3 bloods) - not fun, but turns out that my gloucose is 100% spot on, so they won't be putting me on Metformin after all.

Yesterday i went and saw a kinesiologist, and tell you what, it was the best thing i have ever done. I had so many energy blockages in my body, no wonder things were going wrong. Anyway she gave me some affirmations to keep saying to myself and some herbal drops for under my tounge 3 times a day, and really got me positive about all of this. She also said that because of the blockages, that i had so many toxins in my body that she wanted me to book in for a massage. So that's booked for Monday

I would reccommend it to absolutely everyone. It's just amazing what your body can do (and not do).

Danni - dont know much about the tickers, I could never get one to work in the first place let along get it into my sign off, plus I tend to be a bit irregular and couldn't be bothered having to change it every month, aren't I lazy LOL

Special Child - I have often though about joining the ttcaml thread but I still find after two years I can't think too much about my miscarriage without getting really down, probably a good reason to join I know. My sister has just miscarried this week for the 2nd time in 4 months and I have found that a lot of stuff has resurfaced again for me. She talks to me about it because I have experienced it as well but now I have all the infertility things to deal with I find it all a bit much.

Shez - I am so sorry for your loss, it is a terrible terrible thing to go through

Cherie - hear you loud and clear about multiples. DH and I have the "official" sensible view on not wanting to go down the multiples path but deep down there would be no complaints here if it happened

Meredith - glad to hear all went well for you

I hope everyone else is going well. I am still floating around taking it easy. I had my stitches out yesterday and had my follow up appointment with the surgeon where he confirmed that all the pathology reports came back and it was all endo that he removed. I am going to go back to work on Monday and try and make the most of my last couple of days off work.
