Wow! Way to go! Great job.
Good luck with your next challenge.![]()
I found this fabric in the op shop a while ago, and have been thinking about making a skirt from it. The skirt is made but looks a bit strange - I think I made a mistake, but I used some of the left overs to make a purse.
I made up my own pattern and used PVC on the outside to give it some protection and I am so happy with itIt even has a zip and room for me to put my iphone in it.
retro fabric purse
My next challenge is to make a work bag that fits my big diary, purse and a small laptop... I just need to choose fabric to make it out of!
Wow! Way to go! Great job.
Good luck with your next challenge.![]()
Well done looks great!!!
Good luck with next challenge!
thanks - I think I will give working with PVC a miss for a while - it is sooo hard to work with!
Looks awesome!
ooohhh very funky!!
I was going to ask what the PVC is like to worth with![]()
use lots and lots of tear away - or baking paper cause I didn't have any. I used the thin stuff too, so the thicker PVC would be horrible!
I was wondering what it's like too. I made a kids apron out of oilcloth the other day and it's terrible! It was really hard to pull through but didn't know about the baking paper trick.
ETA - I forgot to say how great it looks LOL! You did a really good job.
That really is a cool purse!
