Janome Overlocker: Model EZY Lock 304D

I'm taking a chance here. Do any of you girls know this type of machine and could you give me some reviews on it??

I am in the market for a S/H overlocker/serger for home use and I can get one like this REEEEELLLLYYYYY cheap. It's about 19 (eeek) years old, been used only for three (if you trust the seller) and has been serviced Would you buy it?

    TIA

I don't know that model, but don't let the age put you off. Often the old machines (if they have been looked after) are better than getting a new 'plastic' machine.

    Go for it!

Thanks Kate, that was exactly what I was thinking. And it's a steal if you look at modern day serger prices. My mom's got one that are almost as old as me and I just gave it in to a guy in town that fix overlockers, so if he quote me more than the price for this one, I'm taking the Janome. I've heard good things about them.

And I only need it for home use, as long as it keeps the terry toweling from snowing on me the whole time .. I'm good
