    Newbie to Sewing...

I was just wondering if one of you lovely ladies could point in the right direction for a simple pattern to start me off...

MIL is teaching me the basics but DH is also going to get me a few classes to help me out...
Any ideas will be much appreciated..

    TIA

Good luck hun! Careful though, it's addictive! Lol.

What sort of pattern are you after? Clothing or something else?

Make it perfect is a book with easy patterns. Google burdastyle, they have patterns & they have a difficulty level on them. Or even do a google search for easy patterns or beginner patterns

I got a great book from a friend called "Simple Softies", has a whole heap of stuffed toys you can sew. I think it's aimed for hand sewing, and using felt, but I used my sewing machine and cotton to make some of the toys out of it. Your local library might have a copy of it, so maybe check out their sewing/craft section and you might find something.
