After a pattern (or a few) to make DD a couple of pinny's, skirts and some dresses for summer. Google hasn't been very good to me so am hoping some of BBs pro-sewers (lol sorry if that looks like "sewers" as in where sewerage is stored..) might be able to point me in the right direction.
i've never made an item of clothing before, so don't really want to make it up as I go along just yet!
There are a few around but I'm on my phone so can't look them up so try the Prudent Baby blog to start with. Will BB tomorrow when I have my bookmarks for you.
I've got the Little Bird Lizzie Pinny pattern from Funkyfabrix - I can draft it off and send it to you if you like? I'm going to town tomorrow so can do it then.
SNAP trill....it is such an easy pattern good god if I can do it you sure can.
Check out the oz material girls to, they have a pattern section with skirts, dresses ect.
You could google pillowcase dress for a tutorial. It is a pretty simple dress with very forgiving shape and technique. There are hundreds on the web.
Otherwise, prudent baby is a good place to go as Tanstar mentioned.
ETA: Prudent Baby actually have a pillowcase dress - super easy.
After a quick look through some of my bookmarks I found "Make it and Love it - Paperbag skirt" and "Sew Mama Sew - yoga skirt tutorial" both really easy sewing.

Michael Miller fabrics *drool* has some free patterns as does Ottobre magazine which is genius in itself, I have 3 of them and they have gorgeous Euro patterns for kids.
Thats all from me - Im off to clean instead of pouring over patterns that I don't have time to sew right now!
Suse that is gorgeous! I loves all the o & s stuff. You girls should google ottobre magazine. Amazing Euro patterns for boys and girls about 40 of them in each issue for around $25! Bargain!
Thanks Tan! I've got one of the Ottobre books, and the women's tee-shirt pattern which I'm in the process of cutting out, haven't made it yet - and the patterns are very well designed, and the instructions very clear. I'm looking forward to attempting the o + s stuff, it's much more challenging than anything else I've done so far. I'd say that the Ottobre stuff is on a par with o + s patterns.
