    so proud of myself!

Just finished making a bag from a pattern I bought online the other night. It's my first 'real' sewing project, I've made lots of other bits and pieces before but this has probably been the most difficult (not that it was very hard).

It's reversible, and is supposed to have pockets but I left them off..might attempt them on the next one I think it looks pretty awesome though!

Am hoping (if I have enough time and can get some more fabric) to make some for family members for christmas presents.

My little sewing woohoo for the day

(oh and some pics: Login | Facebook

The pattern was only $6 USD, so was only about $6.20 AUD when I paid..well worth it! If you'd like to know where I got it feel free to PM me, not sure if I'm allowed to post it here

thanks everyone! I was so excited about it! It only took me a day too, working on it when Hayley wasn't too much of a distraction! Lol. If you could work on it non stop would probably only take a couple of hours to whip up.
so glad I could show at least someone! DF wasn't home last night so I had no one to show it to, and I hate that feeling where you're so excited about something but have no one to share it with!
