    Question First Chapter Books For Children

    I've started reading chapter books to Yasin. We usually read a chapter or maybe two every night. So far we have read 101 Dalmations and The Fantastic Mr Fox.
    I'm looking for suggestions for some more books. We started Charlie and The Chocolate Factory but Yasin wasn't really into it so I put it aside for when he is a little older.

    Have you tried some "adventure" books along the lines of Treasure Island? Depending on his maturity, he may even like some of Enid Blyton's books?

    I was going to suggest Enid Blyton books - there are some for younger children. I was also thinking The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe but I don't know how old Yasin is so this too may be a bit beyond his interest at the moment. Pippi Longstocking might be alright too.
