Yep i feel that way as well.
Book 3 Part 1 was like that for me, but part 2 seems more action packed & i want to find out what happens with Tyrion now.
Upto the part where he is on Trail....

I feel so bad forr poor Arya, she is one of my fav characters in the books.

I know poor Arya. Poor girl just can't catch a break. *spoiler* At least she's not dead yet lol! She's one of my favourites too.
I won't let on what happens with Tyrion since you are reading it ATM. I'm glad he treated Sansa nicely. It's a pleasant change. I have to wonder where the author comes up with some of his ideas. Some of it just seems so cruel & just plain wrong - marrying off children for one thing.

I'm glad as well, especially since Joff was so nasty to her.

I know what you mean it can be a bit much some times, like the Red Wedding, what they did afterwards was just cruel.
They whole thing with Lolly, even tho she isn't a big part of the book, i felt so sorry for her.
Just the general rapes & killing, Like the Tickler or the Mountain......

Wow! You're reading quick. I'm finding book 5 hard to get into. It's really heavy & hard to hold so I'm finding it hard to read while feeding DD which is when I normally read.

I tend to read after they all go down for night it's my "me time".

I saw it the other day & thought that is a monster of a book, i'm so keen to know if the Starks get re united. Do they find each other in the 4th book?

Do they find each other in the 4th book?
No. I'm hoping they find each other too. Seems like every chapter plants another obstacle in their way though. By the time they meet up, they probably won't recognise each other.

Yeah, it's slow going. The books just too heavy to hold so I haven't been able to find as much time to read. I'm spending a lot more time gazing at DD's beautiful face though lol! It's still disgusting & cruel. *highlight for minor spoiler re gross stuff (don't highlight if you have a weak stomach)* The last chapter I read had someone eating a live rat. On the way to gym this morning, I saw a dead rat on the side of the road & it made me think of that scene and totally put me off the banana I was trying to eat.

I remember finding book 4 hard to get into too. Too many boring old humourless men I think. I like that Tyrion at least has a sense of humour.

I don't think so. Book 4 & 5 are the same timeline but different characters. He is mentioned from afar.

I finished book 4, So now i need to decide if i should pay the $30 for book 5 or wait till the paperback version is released at the end of March & pay $15 for it.

Do you think there will be a book 6? They left the Cersei storyline open.

I would wait So far I'm not $30 worth of excited about book 5 so I'm glad I got it for free from my dad. There is going to be a book 6 & a book 7 but they aren't written yet

So far in book 5 there's been chapter's for Jon, Bran, Tyrion, Daenerys, Reek (aka Theon Greyjoy), Davos. I think there's been others but I can't recall ATM. I'm at least 200 pages in & so far nothing much has happened. Does that help your decision?
