I think i'll wait, might go buy the new James Patterson & the new Dexter book to help me wait it out lol

    I did some googling & it was a 6yr wait between book 4 & 5.
Man i hope the wait for the book 6 & 7 isn't that long.

Eeek! I hope not. I'm so sick of reading half done series. My next book is Eragon. My dad's given me 4 books in that series. I'm hoping there's no more after that. I'm already waiting on books for 2 series by Isobelle Carmody. Someone mentioned a series that sounded interested in the "what are you reading" thread but I'm not sure I want to start on that one since it sounds like it's not finished either. Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon.

I hate that as well, especially when they leave it so long between books you have forgotten what happened.

Thanks for the info about the other series, going to look them up & see what they are about

apparently according to the author there will be a book 6 and 7 for sure and if he can't finish in those then there MAY be a book 8!!
Book 6 is out next year and book 7 scheduled for 2014. I think now that it's been picked up by TV he can't stretch it out to 6 years between books.

So wishing I'd waited until 2014 to start reading these!! I hate big waits in between, especially with books like these, I'm so going to lose track of characters!! I'm halfway through book 4 and head is spinning big time!!

I found book 4 the hardest to read, i think it had a lot to do with all the new characters.

I found book for hard to read as well.

    I'm almost finished book 5.

I read the first four books in 2004 then had to wait the whole 6 years for this book 5! I re-read the whole series because I had forgotten so much of the story.

I'm keen to find out what happens in the next books. I have a lot of theories about who Azhor Azhair is.

Book 2 has a lot of very subtle clues in it. He gives a lot of answers with out actually giving them. Very clever writing.

So I'm about halfway through book 5 now. Still going slowly, one or two chapters at a time. I'm thinking I might buy a kindle for my birthday next month. That book is just too heavy.

    Have you started yet Cheshire?

Probably a good idea unless you want huge biceps lol! I bought a kindle about an hour ago. I won't be able to use it until my birthday though so I'll probably be finished this one by then.

I ordered my kindle from Amazon on Monday last week & got it on Thursday! I couldn't believe how quick it was. I haven't used it yet as it will be my birthday present so I have over a month still to wait

I also just bought the DVD's of Game of Thrones off ebay so I can watch that.

Less than 100 pages of book 5 left to read. I was so tempted to finish it last night but I was just way too exhausted. I could barely keep my eyes open. Damn sick kids messing up my "me" time. No idea what is going on with Arya. That is just weird.

Did you buy book 5 yet Cheshire?

    whoops! didnt see this.

I'm really enjoying it, only 50 odd pages to go now.

    Much better than book 4.

Hope we don't have to wait too long for the next one.
