Is anyone reading it or have you already? It's the new one in the series (True Blood series) I'm not enjoying it. I can't really say why exactly but I'm finding it boring. Too much describing what everyone is wearing etc and not enough action. What do you think?

I have just finished it. I liked it. I really did not think a lot about the last book. I almost think she rushed it out a bit to get on the television series bandwagon. This one though I thought was better. But only one sex scene? And that a short one> Felt a bit ripped off.

I just said the exact same thing in the TB thread Miss H. I liked it but was disappointed with the ending. I felt a bit jipped, like there should have been a few more pages...?

Also Sookie, get over yourself with the whole Eric killing thing. He's a vampire! And a hot one!

If she ends up with Bill I will be extremely upset.

There really is not enough action between her and Eric and that is what I was looking forward to. I'm only halfway through but the others I couldn't put down. This one I don't mind taking a break.

If you remember reading about Quinn the were-tiger, how do you think he looks?
I was talking to my friend the other day & i said how he was tall with muscles & black. She said no he's tall & white.
I think i need to re read that book.

lol i don't know why i thought he was black, maybe i thought bald = black. Too much reading while tired i think.

How many seasons are there now? I think I have seen up until S3. Should that be right?

Miss H there are 3 seasons out with Season 4 being aired June 26th in the states

I've got around 100 pages left & so far i'm enjoying it

I enjoyed the second half of the book more although I do think that the scene with Bill (and Sookie being naked) was more enticing to me than the 1 sex scene with Eric. So I actually don't mind if she ends up with Bill because Eric didn't seem all that great to me this book. Maybe that is what the author is aiming for though or maybe that is just me??

I just finished. Boring, boring, boring. So disappointed. There was really no point to the book. Maybe the next will be more exciting and find out more about that door thing.
Yeah the sex scene was just funny and I laughed when he brought out the bag of ice.
Otherwise It was totally my least favourite. I mean, I love the books, but how many times can sookie nearly die or fight groups of people who want her dead. I am sure quite a few more lol.
I would love her to end up with Bill even if he did stuff up!

I really think Sookie overreacted to the whole Alcide thing, i get why she was angry but i still think it was a bit much.

Buffy i agree build a bridge & get over it, she wanted him dead just as much as Eric and she knows what Eric is like. It really can't have been that big a shock to her.

Deedles i'm not a fan of Bill, but maybe that's because i can't stand TB Bill. He annoys the crap out of me.

So with you Cheshire, I think the actor had a lot to do with it. He's really gorgeous in interviews with his British accent. The terrible TB southern accent and hair really put me off.

Agree with pp's that DR was kinda boring. Maybe Charlaine H is bored with it too...? The next one better be good, no more filler books I say.
