Hi Everyone,

Not sure if I have posted this in the right section... or even if I'm allowed to promote someone else???!!!! But moderators, please do whatever you need to if I've done anything wrong!!

I just wanted to tell everyone about a book that has been written (memoir) by a lady called Donna Carson.. The books title is "Judas Kisses".

Its only a recent release, but it is the true story about a woman who survived domestic violence - her husband set her on fire.
Her story is absolutely amazing, and really is a must read for anyone in a domestic violence situation, or who knows anyone in this situation.

My best friend was murdered by her husband in 2001 (we have grown up together from the age of 3yrs), and this lady came to the initial court date when the husband was charged, and then to every appearance (including the whole supreme court trial) until he was sentenced a couple of years later.
She is a true ambassador for Women & Domestic Violence... and was an amazing support to all of us girls that had to give testimony on my girlfriends behalf.

I have just found out over the weekend that Dymocks Erina are having a free Meet The Author tomorrow night at Dymocks, Erina Fair from 6pm - Donna is going to be there to discuss her book and talk to anyone wishing to talk to her in regards to domestic violence.

I didn't want to post this so much as to advertise, but more so to let everyone know...If there is anyone out there suffering from domestic violence and can make it to see her, I can guarantee it will be the best thing you can do.

She is an amazing woman and can offer an incredible amount of support and advice to anyone suffering in this situation.

Mods, please if I have overstepped any boundaries by posting this,I apologise in advance!!!!

Thanks,

Holly
