what books are next to your bed?

next to my bed I currently have
    - Birth with Confidence by Rhea Dempsey
    - Gentle birth, gentle mothering by Sarah Buckley
    - Father Bob The larrikin priest by Sue Williams

    DH has
    -The Crossroads (SAS book)
    - Caught in the crossfire -an Australian peacekeeper beyond the front line
    - the easy day was yesterday - the extreme life of an SAS soldier.
    - SAS sniper

so, what's on your bedside table? does it reflect current state of your head?

Actual books are Margaret Fulton Baking and Women's Weekly Kids' Cake Favourites.
Then on the tablet I've got Les Miserables (been trying to read it forever) and a bunch of Jane Austin books.

I've got my eReader which seems to live under my pillow more than next to the bed, plus the following books:

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer
Change Your Shoes, Change Your Life
The No Excuses Guide to Uncovering Your Purpose
    Spanish for Dummies
    Necronomicon: The Best Weird Tales
A Dance with Dragons (Songs of Fire & Ice #5) - this one is looking a little bit worse for wear because I fell asleep in the bath reading it
    A Discovery of Witches

    My kobo
Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy
    Blaze by Di Morrissey
Dune Is A Four Letter Word by Griselda Sprigg

Does it reflect my frame of mind? Don't know! I haven't read anything for ages and everything other than what's on the kobo was given to me.

Next to my bed is my little "to-do-list" for this summer:

    - Goodbye To Berlin by Christopher Isherwood (currently reading)
    - Tales of the Jazz Age by F. Scott Fitzgerald
    - A Wild Sheep Chase by Haruki Murakami
    - La Plateforme by Michel Houellebecq
    - All the Lights We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
    and
    - East of Eden by John Steinbeck

It's quite a list, but I am burning through them very quickly and can't wait to finish them all.

Just read the new Potter. Currently reading Perfect Bane, by Mary Webb, and dipping in and out of the Time Lord Fairy Tales. Next up are Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book (with Liebling, my 9yo son) and Terry Pratchett's Hogfather. Plus a few on the kindle too for Stormageddon's night feeds.
