1 kg lean mince beef
1 large jar passata
1 can diced tomato
1-2 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 chopped onion
1/2 chopped green capsicum
1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp dried oregano
1 clove garlic minced
ground black pepper
salt
2 tsp ground cumin
chili powder - the amount all has to do with the amount of spice you want..... the hotness factor. I do 2 tbsp.... but I like it hot.
Brown the mince. Than in a large pot, put a small amount olive oil, and saute the onions and garlic, add all the rest of the ingredients and let it cook for 1-2 hours, taste it and add more chilli or cayanne pepper as needed. Serve in a bowl .... drool
