    Cooking frankfurts

    I have some ****tail franks i wanna cook for lunch. Do i put them in the cold water and boil it or wait for it to boil and then put them in?

    Iusually wait til it gets hot. I'm too impatient to wait for it to boil!
    I have no idea if it makes a difference or not.

    I think I start them in cold water, but I can't really remember, its been that long since I cooked them! Also, if they have the skin on them, don't boil them as this will make the skins split and peel off, looking even more gross. Just simmer them.

    cold bring to boil take off heat...leave to sit for a bit

    Lol, I just searched this because I can't remember how to cook them! It's only heating them up anyway really. Anyway, I've put mine in hot water so let's see how that goes. Not like the little boys will care anyway...

    I do what Rach does, cook in cold bring to boil and take off till you're ready to eat. I love an old thread bump
