    Question For Dinner, Need HELP NOW!!

    Hey Great Cooks Out there,

    ARGH i need help i have no marinates and ive got chicken pieces for dinner, i dont want plain boring chicken so was wondering if i can pour a honey mustard simmer sauce over them and cook in the oven like that?? as it was a marinate!!

    thats sounds good...if i was doing it id probably cover them with foil so the sause doesnt burn and take of the foil when nearly cooked?? im no expert thats just what id do

    I guess you could only try and see, but if you go to the best recipes website and type in sticky chicken wings it will bring up a really easy nice recipe.
    It says to marinate for 2 hours but you could get away with less time. I also left out the ginger as I didnt have any and it still tasted awesome.

    Salad- thankyou i dont have many ingredients right now need to do a big shop so i prob wouldnt have all the ingredients hence why im wanting to use a simmer sayce, BUT i willl have to try it thankyou

    I would add a small amount of water.... if you are baking it, you could just brown the chicken pieces and simmer on the stove top?

    if you have a packet of french onion soup coat the pieces in that instead.

    Christy- i did add a small amount of water to spread it a little bit more but im cooking it in the oven, i origionally was looking on google how long they take to cook cooking them in a frying pan with the simmer sauce on the stove, how long would they take got 4 huge chicken legs and rest are wings?? would be great idea for the next time

    Lulu- i dont have any of that would love to try these different ideas though im not a very good cook and something different with chicken would be great to do DP would love it

    lots of those packet soups can be a lifesaver for coating chicken. Tastes awesome too - and CHEAP!

    Lulu- how do u marinade with the soup? freezer bag?? any particular brand name name?

    So i marinated my chicken in the simmer sauce & it turned out delicious!!!!! so proud of myself

    With the soup, you just rub it on.... don't add liquid.
