thread: use by dates... when should it be eaten by?

    use by dates... when should it be eaten by?

    is it the date shown or the day before? I bought one of those prestuffed and marinated chickens from coles on Saturday (yesturday) with the intention of cooking it tonight. The use-by date is the 20/12 (tomorrow) and I didn't cook it tonight ... will it still be ok to cook it and eat it tomorrow night?

    tomorrow is only the 19th babe, so you have time to use it tomorrow

    no probs hun!

    i only know the date cos i was trying earlier today to work out if BW's sons bday is today or tomorrow - and i double checked before posting just in case i screwed it up too lol
